The store was in the middle of a going-out-of-business sale: Socks for 50 cents. Jackets for $2. Pants for $1. Hats and scarves for 50 cents. Absolute steals across the board. If you're a bargain hunter, this was truly a cheap man's dream. Unfortunately, as mentioned, the store is closing its doors -- so once it's gone, it's gone, and there are no returns. I went to TJ Maxx this morning and when I got to a drive thru about 15 minutes away on the…read moreInterstate, I realized that I didn't have my purse and I was sure that I had left it at TJ Maxx in the cart. I called and the person answering the phone looked through the store reported back to me that it was not in the store. Sure that I had left it there, I drove back to the store and walked through it and waited in line to ask an employee if it had been turned in. It hadn't. The manager, Lacie (I believe her name was), walked with me through the store and even enlisted help from a couple of employees to look through the store for it and looked in trash bins and in the rest rooms and went above and beyond to help me in my frenzied state. We discussed doing a police report so that we could watch film and I left the store to determine next steps and called a friend that I had been on the phone with while I was shopping and she reminded me that I had told her that I was also going to go to Ross. I ran over to Ross and asked about it and they had my purse. I returned to TJ Maxx to thank Lacie for being so kind and helpful. I have never had someone be so accommodating and felt bad for the inconvenience that I had caused her. I only had a few minutes and couldn't see her in the store and felt bad that I couldn't thank her and let her know that I had it. She was so attentive and thoughtful. A friend told me that the best thing that I could do for her was to give her a good review and let her know how appreciated she is. So that is what I am doing. TJ Maxx has a golden employee in Lacie and they should be aware of the great customer service she provides at the Riverdale, UT store!

They also carry higher end snacks and a variety of doggie supplies. I've purchased some really good tea and preserves but today I purchased two plant stands with a marble top. Very nice and very heavy items that I am pleased with. They already have Halloween decor out! The buggies here are fairly large but the aisles are fairly narrow. And apparently, they stock soon after opening in the mornings, for there were three or four stockers blocking the aisles with their carts. I bumped into the same customer twice as we both were trying to afford the stockers.
