However, the cause behind this store is amazing and makes me want to shop there as often as possible. This store is a non-profit that gives ALL its profits to orphanages, clean water projects and more. They do an unbelievable amount for people in need. For this reason I definitely bump it up to 4 stars.

Seems like a pretty cool store. Fridays, the price is $10 and the prices drop each day. So the cheapest day to shop is Thursday, when items are 50 cents. However, that is when the selection is the poorest. Bins are refilled on Friday and the selection is the best on that day. Conversely, the price is also the highest on Friday. We visited on Wednesday and the bins still had stuff in them, albeit mostly undesirables. The lighting is bright, but annoying. If you have time to pick thru the bins, have at it!

Walk in, and you basically see big tables full of crap. You are at a discount store, sorting through tables full of stuff. Some of it's kind of interesting. I ended up buying half a dozen things. I didn't really find what I was looking for, because the selection changes daily, if not hourly. But hey, two dollars for a six pack of pretty good ramen? Cool. Two dollars for a box of KN95 masks? We moved last Fall from Indiana where we had a large yard and several large planting areas. We now…read moreown a wonderful one-floor condo with much smaller areas to plant, and most of those areas unplanted. A broken wrist stopped me from planting in Spring and early Summer, but I sallied forth today with a list of nearby nurseries. Seely's was first on my list, and I didn't need to go farther. They have an impressive selection of trees, shrubs, flowers, and leafy perennials. Their Hosta selection is the largest I've ever seen. At a guess I'd say they have at least 100 different varieties. It's incredible! The Seely's employees are friendly, knowledgeable, and service-oriented. Julie hauled my cart all through the many plants, giving me advice on what plants would work with my East and West-facing planting areas. When I found one of my favorite plants looking a bit scraggly late in the season, she pruned the leggy parts off and left the beautifully formed inner stems and leaves for me. She was patient as I back-tracked to revisit plants I was interested in. Then she helped me load all my plants and a couple bags of Sweet Peat mulch/soil enhancer into the back of my Outback. I will definitely return to Seely's as I fill out my garden areas in the coming years. And I'll definitely watch for Julie when I do. This nursery doesn't look like much from the road, but it is truly a hidden gem! Check it out the next time you have landscaping and gardening needs!
