Wonderful store full of well-curated high-end furniture and accessories. Very happy with all our purchases and the customer service here.

Do yourself a favor and don't shop here! And certainly don't buy their extended warranty. I feel…read morelike I have been completely taken by these people. Buyer beware! How can you give less than one star? I really wish there was a way! They don't deserve even one star. I ordered a couch and two recliners on March 31. The furniture has immersive sound features. We had them delivered on April 10. The couch and one of the recliners work fine. But the second recliner is defective. And since day one it hasn't worked. There is a port in the back of the chair where you plug in your immersive sound feature. On one of the recliners there is a small pin in the port that is bent and can't be straightened. It is impossible to plug it into the TV sound. We did not learn this on delivery day because we didn't have our new TV yet. We didn't hook the chair up until the following weekend. On the 14th I texted my sales guy to let him know of the issue. Unfortunately, you only have three days to tell them if there's anything wrong. We didn't know of the issue till day four. I did agree to pay a ridiculous price for a warranty and the issue was covered. Unfortunately, despite numerous attempts to contact the service department, they did not call me until April 21 to set a service appointment. At that point, the lady said the soonest they could get someone out to my home was 5 weeks later on May 24.The purpose of these appointments is that they determine if they will replace your furniture or repair it in your home. In my case, they determined that they could repair it in my home. But they did not have the part. I told them exactly what was wrong with when I called them in the first place and offered to send pictures. They should've known they need a new port, its not a puzzle, especially if they're waiting so long to come out. It felt like they should've had one on hand. But I was trying to be patient with them. The guy said someone would call me back when they got his "report". It is now June 20 and my chair still has no sound and never has worked. I still have no part. I called and pretty much begged them for the name of the part manufacturer so I could just take care of it on my own and leave them out of it. I wanted to call the manufacturer or get the part and call geek squad or handy to come out and put the part in for me. All they would tell me is that the vendor is M013. I said that sounds like your internal vendor number and not a company name. There's no company called that. And she said yes that's a vendor number. I can I please have the vendor name. She said I just told you it's M103. She was really snotty. She told me that she already explained to me that it wasn't coming until 2 to 4 weeks. And I said it's going to be four weeks on Thursday and she said. Not in business days. And I said well there's five business days in a week and you said 2 to 4 weeks. She said no it's business days. You don't understand what business days are. I said how would you translate 2 to 4 weeks into business days then? She just kept talking circular like that and not making any sense. I never raised my voice to her but she said I am not going to listen to this anymore. Then she hung up. So I guess that's the end of my story. I need to order furniture for three more rooms and you can believe it's not coming from Ashley Morrison! I've just basically been ripped off for over $2000 for a recliner that has never worked in a worthless warranty. Lessons learned the hard way I guess. Don't shop here. They don't care.

I sent my husband the twenty minute drive down to zettlers and he purchased a can of DoIt spray paint. The can would not spray no matter what we did to try to find a resolution. So I sent my husband back today to exchange it for another can and the manager (Jordan) refused. He fiddled with it for a few minutes and was able to get it to spray. My husband understanding how important this project was for me to get it finished today, went ahead and purchased another can of paint ($17) because he knew if he came home and I couldn't use the original can of paint I was going to be upset. So when my husband got home and explained the situation I was dumbfounded. I called the store and talked to Jordan who again refused to exchange the can of paint. He basically said there's no way he could resell it so he wasn't taking the loss. He ssmaid he was able to get the can working. I tried to use the can and it took everything i had to make our spray. He also told me that the owner Mike would tell me the same thing and that the owner would also not exchange the can of paint. Now I know from experience working in customer service that the last thing a manager should do when you have an upset customer is to tell the customer that the owner would not do anything different. The last thing a manager should do is to not find a resolution for the customer. A simple exchange was all we wanted. Instead we are out over 2 hours plus the$5 can of paint that basically went in the trash and the additional $17 we spent for a working can of paint. Beyond disappointed. The teenagers that work at this store always treat is with respect, Jordan could take some lessons.

Yesterday afternoon I purchased $145.+ of merchandise that included two "Yeti" brand, insulated metal cups marked as $21. each. This price was less than I had seen elsewhere. When I arrived home two hours later, I noticed the receipt reflected I had been charged $25. for each cup. I called the store and spoke to (I believe) the same employee that had checked me out. They confirmed the $21. displayed price. Today I drove back to Powell to clear this up before it became dated. The clerk and manager became involved, explaining the displayed price was incorrect. I didn't expect to get a free cup, or anything. Given I called a couple hours after the purchase to confirm the displayed price, drove back to Powell this afternoon to be told, "That shouldn't have happened," no apology, no offer to get one cup at the displayed price of $21, and pay $25 for the other...nothing. It's not that I couldn't afford to pay the additional $8., it was the lack of consideration for the effort, time and distance that irritated me. I returned both items and will get them somewhere else for $25., or more. I've been shopping at Zettler Hardware for four years. Prices are generally higher, but I feel it's worth it because of (usually) better customer service. Zettler, you can do better.

So we made a huge leap and purchased a contemporary merlot sofa. Out went my tan, huge, comfortable couch. I've missed that couch. It was large enough for both of us to lie down and enjoy a movie. It was so comfortable I prefered sleeping on it to our bed. The merlot couch was the worst purchse of our lives. Weekly we need to pull out the mini-vac to remove the white/tan dog hair. God forbid anyone just stop by and it's been a couple days. And as for the cuddling on the couch, those days are over. So as I was removing all of the cushion covers yesterday to put them in the washer I decided - I've had enough! Get the car keys - we're getting a new couch! Jon agreed to drive me but said "You have to sleep on it." We stopped at Front Line Furnishings and they had a really large selection, we even found a couch to consider. The staff was really friendly and helpful too! Then we pulled into the lot of Thomasville and I knew that I was entering the high-price haven of furniture. Of course no one took a second look at the girl in the 'house-cleaning' clothes. The salespeople actually looked us up and down and walked in the other direction. Jon and I made our loop around the store, gawking at the $2800 sofas. Then...there it was...my couch! The couch I had been mourning for three years! And guess what? the whole set was ON CLEARANCE! I looked at Jon who nodded. I found the closest salesperson, asked her when it could be delivered, and told her I'd take the set. Jon and I were practically doing a happy dance around the store! So as for the selection of living and dining room sets - Thomasville has the best selection. Bedrooms were a little over the top, think roman columns. The salespeople here are not helpful or friendly at all, that docks a star. And they can't deliver the furniture for a week, another star! (Seriously we live 10 minutes down the road!) Thursday, May 7th! I'll be enjoying 30 Rock from my new sofa - Hell Yeah!
