What's not to love?! Friendly employees, a great grocery selection with reasonable prices, and a whole second-half to the store that reminds me of an old-school Odd Lots (in the best way possible). I scored some gorgeous outdoor placemats for $3 and microfiber towels for $4. I can't wait to come back again and soon because they have pączki right now!! Iykyk

Yes - the prices are not cheap across the board. Deals can be found, but overall it runs a bit higher than VoA or GW. I'm still not complaining because the store is clean, organized, and you have so many options! Staff is friendly and efficient. I scored two sweaters - one brand new, upscale brand with tags for $12 and one for $4 (it was a 50% tag). Couldn't be happier! Can't wait to go back when it's a season change to see if it's still as good as it was in early winter!

If money matters to you, avoid this store entirely. Even at "50% off," the prices were unbelievable…read more-- the kind of unbelievable that makes you stop in your tracks and wonder who exactly they think is shopping here. * Clothing selection is huge, but if you're short, good luck. The top racks are basically decoration. * Pricing signs are confusing and borderline misleading. The front sign says one color is 50% off only if it's $15 or under, but the rest of the store doesn't mention that at all. * Shoes and housewares were a mess -- like no one had touched the area all day. * Customer service was rough. Three employees up front, and somehow not one of them seemed friendly. my cashier acted like ringing me up was an inconvenience, and any attempt at conversation was shut down instantly. If you're a reseller, don't bother -- you'll lose money. If you're looking for good prices, don't bother -- you won't find them. If you're shopping for yourself, maybe you'll be fine... but only if you're willing to pay more than you should.

It's closed on Thursdays, and on Fridays they get new stuff. Seven dollars that day, and then the prices go down. I went on Monday and it was two dollars, I think it's $.50 on Wednesday. Walk in, and you basically see big tables full of crap. You are at a discount store, sorting through tables full of stuff. Some of it's kind of interesting. I ended up buying half a dozen things. I didn't really find what I was looking for, because the selection changes daily, if not hourly. But hey, two dollars for a six pack of pretty good ramen? Cool. Two dollars for a box of KN95 masks? Pretty good. Service was friendly. Place is clean. It's also not super crowded inside, with people or merchandise, at least on a day when it's not nuts like the actual Black Friday.

I'm certain that the workers are racist, but even if they're not, they're at the very least nasty people who obviously shouldn't be in retail. The major drawback of this location is that it cannot be easily accessed if heading south on State Street due to the medians in the road. A left turn at a light, followed by a U-Turn is required. In an area that is not flush with convenient stores, this makes the location, well, not very convenient during rush hour traffic. Coupled with the new traffic patterns on this section of State Street you could find yourself taking longer to get to a pump than it takes you to fill up and grab some beef jerky and a scratch off ticket. You can follow the road behind the Monroe in order to get southbound on State, again waiting at a congested light. The inside of the store is brightly lit and always well stocked. The outside area also includes an air compressor, which is free if you have a Duchess loyalty card.
