Won't be returning here. Apathetic staff says "There's nothing we can do " when I reported a male shoplifting. Why bother paying when they allow people to help themselves?

Dirty, unorganized and shelves not restocked. For and early morning check in one would think the shelves would have been restocked at some point during the night. Or maybe someone worked have swept. Nope. Most of if not all aisles had debris on the floor and shelves that appeared half empty. The store had the general appearance of a liquidation / going out of business vibe.

    Crows for Halloween decor.

We looked online ACROSS THE GLOBE LITERALLY at different online web sites and this furniture store beat all their prices. This exact bed we looked at all over and we got it at Best Price Furniture in Monroe. It was over a HUNDRED dollars cheaper even at the most discounted online stores. It's a beautiful sturdy/ heavy queen storage bed. It has dovetail construction and its rock sturdy with a smooth comfortable upholstered headboard. This bed (and all the furniture that I could see) comes from Coaster Furniture. That's the only retailer that Best Prices gets their furniture from. But that's ok with me because that furniture provider has modern/ contemporary/ classic/ traditional / beautiful vintage and rustic etc etc . They have bedroom and living room and office and whatever rooms you have in your home. You just filter it how you would any other furniture store. I do wish that they were open more days: Lucy who runs the business is close to retiring and doesn't work as many hours as some other businesses. But it works ok because I know which days to go in. We will be getting all our furniture pieces through Best Prices furniture and Mattress.

Sitting here in the parking lot and feeling obligated to sit in this blazing toasty Prius to write…read morethis because unlike the +130 reviews I currently have in draft mode, I feel I gotta get this out. I'm here in Monroe because of an offer up deal I was doing at the nearby Lowe's so I'm about almost an hour out of my ways due to traffic, and out of a completely spontaneous decision I went into the nearby goodwill. I don't frequent most places, but I have been to probably an unhealthy amount of goodwills. Idk why but even if I don't have time I usually make time if I see one I haven't gone to because it's such a random occurrence of events to find a dope find. Tbh in the last 5 years I've grown to usually take about 10 minutes tops to get in and out due to the mediocrity that is so casual for goodwill but I'm here to say that I want to go on record confidently stating this is the best goodwill I've ever been to. No, it's not doing something out of the scope of goodwills agenda, but everything you expect from a goodwill they are doing in an ideal way. The team here is just putting out such a variety of items and EVERYTHING is in sellable condition. Holy moly it's organized. I've seen organized goodwills but it's not common, and it's unheard of to see the combo of variety and organization. Tbh I was forcing myself out after finding like 3 amazing things because of my budget, so I didn't have any interaction with the staff or anything, but who cares. The store itself shows these people are talented and care about what they do. This review will amount to nothing, but this should be said. Thank you Monroe Goodwill and keep flippin thriving! P.s if you're worried that I'm toasting I'm not, I'm still in the parking lot in the heat, but my phone was at like 10% so I'm chillin in the car and the a/c on Bye

The owner and coordinator of Seattle East is AMAZING. Really could not ask for a better, more communicative, helpful person. Auburn and Issaquah Sales. I bought stuff at the Mill Creek sale last year. I got some good buys but had anxiety after 20 minutes. It was so chaotic and the line was really really really long to check out. I bought at Monroe and there wasn't much but I did get a few good things. Checkout was fine. I then decided to sell at Auburn and Issaquah - there was a lot to learn but it wasn't that hard. Hangers are free at Old Navy just get them there. And use offwhite or white cardstock which I found around my house (old cards that go through the printer that I never used). I am frugal so this worked well for me. I got safety pins at the $1 store. So pricing is hard. Basically if you price too high then it goes to 50% off... so if your prices are high then be ready to be sad when you see your stuff go for 50% off. Be ready to spend 1 hour dropping your stuff off. You must have them separated by gender and SIZES. You hang all your stuff up. Also, if the racks are stuffed, put your items on the bottom. WHen they get stuffed, shoppers skip over those sections. Follow the rules. If they say NO SUMMER clothes, just follow the rules. They know that people will NOT buy summer stuff in droves in October so you are screwing up your sales and everyone elses due to space issues. Then today I arrived to try to sell my stuff at the Mill Creek sale. It was different in that you wait in line to have your stuff inspected. Knowing it takes me 60 minutes to do a drop off, park, drag my stuff in, hang up in each section.... this scared me as a woman a couple people in front of me had been waiting 30 minutes JUST to have her stuff inspected. The other sales I did didn't do this - they inspected everything after people dropped off but before the start of the sale. I had to just take all my stuff back to my car and leave. This meant it would be a minimum of 1 hour 45 minutes just to drop my stuff off and I had to pick my son up in 1.5 hours from the time that was on the clock. It really probably would have been 2 hours total. Keep in mind I also drove 30 minutes there. 30 minutes home. And will have to drive this all again to pick up my stuff. I think it only makes sense to sell if you don't care about your items and just generally donate them. In this case, do the sale and mark everything to reduce to 50% off and then Donate at the end of the sale. Otherwise it really isn't worth all the driving around and following all the rules. Entering your stuff on the website isn't that time consuming at all. It's the hanging, cutting tags, pinning tags, etc. I also wonder if enough is being done to market these events. Are there too many sellers and not enough buyers to support? And some people show up with BINS and BINS of stuff and frankly some of it looks really dated.... my stuff has all been bought within the last 1 year or within the last 5 years for my son's stuff. So I don't know what to say about that other than it takes up space and does it really sell? Do a little math to see if the time to drop off, etc. is all worth it? Shopping the event is great. I would pay the money to get in early. Come well rested, fed, caffeinated and consider leaving kids at home.
