The videos I saw showed the strip mall being so packed with vehicles & people that there was actually a police presence just to help manage with crowd control. I recently moved closer, so I took the first opportunity I could to take a look at their goods in person yesterday...I was a little taken aback at how small the space is. From the moment I walked up to the front door- I was shocked to see that, that many people could have been waiting in line for hours and that the store would have enough merchandise to accommodate ALL those customers?! That said, I found the shop inside decorated in that retro style very suitable & quaint, but also only about 8 racks spread out openly throughout the store. The prices in my opinion were ridiculously high except for the $10 clearance rack by the front entrance. Even at that, many shirts I found stained, logos cracking/fading, with holes, or paint marks and overall just not in great condition for the cost! Additionally, they do have some pants, jackets and hoodies as well. Employees never welcomed us in. Too busy eating sandwiches. Find it very unprofessional to eat your food on the floor and at the registers counter to boot! They buy daily for vintage. You'll receive cash or credit. Generally, you will get more in store credit than in cash. Currently, they're accepting winter items and are being very "picky" ( as the two employees told me) about t-shirts. Odd since that's mainly what they carry & with that Tik Tok craze you'd think they would have needed a heck of a lot more merchandise unless it didn't fair well? Yet, again it's a small space with not a lot to offer, so wondering if they have things in storage and they rotate often or seasonally? Doubtful this will be a place I'd return. Think you can get more money by selling your goods on-line thru numerous apps. Or, going to a thrift store and finding vintage gems!

Misfire on the fire on the hire with Tyler, the manager. He is awful. Horrible attitude, horrible…read moremanagement, and horrible morals. Total corporate robot who refused to talk to me like a human being. Me and my friend went to this location and were approached by an older man who we immediately got the sense was creepy. He'd made a comment towards us that rubbed us wrong, and after the interaction, another young girl came up to us saying he'd just done the same thing to her. As we went to the check-out, we noticed him engaging with other young girls who looked visibly uncomfortable. He continued to look around, made eye contact with me, and approached us again. He lingered near us and me and my friend were so scared that we ran to the car. As me and my friend left, we still felt unsettled and decided to call the location to give them a warning that there was an old man walking around acting creepily towards young girls. The woman who answered the phone immediately understood who we were talking about and handed the phone to the manager. She was great. Now this man, named Tyler, apparently, acted terribly. We explained the situation to him, and he merely repeated there was nothing he could do. To say there was nothing he could do, when there very much was something he could do, felt incredibly irresponsible as a manager, as well as a human being who SHOULD feel a sense of concern for younger girls. We stated we didn't wish for any drastic decision, but the store should simply keep a preventative eye on the older man to ensure the safety of the customers. We repeated this many times, only to be met with shameless attitude and carelessness. Bored, mumbling nonsense came from this man's mouth. He kept citing that under corporate policy, he couldn't do anything, which doesn't seem true. Once again, talked to me like a corporate robot rather than a human being who is simply concerned for their customer. I will NEVER return to this establishment knowing it could put my life in danger and they would do nothing about it.

A Facebook Marketplace purchase put us in an entirely different area of the East Valley than we…read moreusually shop in. Gratefully, it introduced us to yet another Daiso location in Arizona. We used to travel to Southern California or Nevada to go to these discount stores. So glad to have them much closer nowadays. We checked all of the standard items we love and actually found some new things. We bought some half rulers so they could fit into the desired size of box we use to send these to children at the holidays. We are huge into Lego bricks, so I, of course, bought us a few of our favorite larger than a shoebox plastic storage containers. Definitely worth stopping in to make some purchases when you are in the area. Terrific products at a great value and friendly, helpful employees to help you.

This was a whimsical visit after enjoying lunch at Panera Bread. Curious about this Japanese company I sauntered inside I saw a bright new store with vibrant colors and numerous well laid out long isles largely running front to back. Lots of things to take after a gaze and for a photo. Then there were the kitchen wares, a new set of four chopsticks for work, food products, Roman's, noodles, drinks, candies that interested me. Nordstrom is usually known for exceptional customer service, so this experience was extremely…read moredisappointing. My husband purchased a pair of shoes that ended up being too big. The shoes were in perfect condition, with the tags and receipt, and there was absolutely nothing wrong with them. When he attempted to return them, the employee acted as though they no longer accepted shoe returns. My husband has an accent and is not originally from this country, and the way he was treated made us very uncomfortable and concerned that he was being treated differently because of that. I called the store afterward to clarify the return policy and was assured that there was no policy preventing them from accepting a return on shoes. Then traveled out of the country. Before leaving, a manager had assured us that they would take care of the situation when we returned. Unfortunately, by the time we came back, we were outside the return window for receiving the money back on the original payment method. The new manager we dealt with was not understanding or considerate of the situation. In fact, she told us that even the store manager might not be able to do anything, but that manager would not be back for another five days. After everything that had happened, we were left wondering what the purpose of waiting another five days would be. We ultimately accepted store credit just to resolve the situation and move on. Then, as we were leaving, we could see the three employees together through the window, laughing shortly after our interaction. Whether they were laughing about us or not, that is certainly how it appeared, and it was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. This entire situation could have been handled so easily with basic communication, understanding, and customer service. Instead, it became a frustrating experience from beginning to end. Nordstrom has a reputation for taking care of its customers. Unfortunately, this particular experience was the complete opposite. I sincerely hope management reviews what happened, because every customer deserves to be treated with respect and dignity--regardless of their accent, background, or how they communicate.

She often shouts regular retail things at me when I'm in there...I don't think she realizes how she comes off. But I seem to find the things I want and need very easily on my own. As for the rewards card, I'm never gonna get it and there's signs everywhere saying it's a credit card so I feel like that's more on the customer then the cash register people who are forced to ask you (I worked retail it's a real requirement and it's terrible for the associate as well, you get yelled at a lot for asking twice, most us don't even care) I haven't found them deceptive about it at all.
