    $1 DVD's !

Love that Dollar Store only sell goods for ONE dollar, unlike competitors who use "Dollar" loosely in their store's names. Much of the goods are passable in quality. Some are smaller versions of name brands, so you are paying $1 for a smaller portion of a national brand. This is fine especially if you only need a small portion (think of them as bigger than trial size, perfect for vacation use.) Other items are great for one-use instances (paper or party goods), greeting cards, balloons, etc. I love this place for hit-or-miss finds like DVD's and useful items like large mailing envelopes. No fancy packaging, just the goods and a mailing envelope is an envelope is an envelope. I needed a few to mail a small stack of documents. Honestly, not sure of pricing at the post office, Staples or a drug store, but I only needed 4 and seriously doubt it would have been anywhere close to $1.

The receipt in which I was advised I should have read in order to know that the store ONLY issues exchanges, no refunds.

Items were priced reasonably compared to Savers and Goodwill. Books were $0.75-$2, men's t-shirts $2-3, and men's dress shirts $6-8. Your money could go a long way here! Budget Tip: fill out the survey on the receipt and get 15% off your next clothing purchase. 10/10 would recommend!

The racks are labeled, the clothes are color-coded, and for the most part, everything is super organized (minus a slightly chaotic home goods section, but honestly... that's part of the treasure hunt). I'm not even going to lie--I felt a little overwhelmed at first because there's so much to look at. You can absolutely get lost in here, so give yourself time. They've got separate dressing rooms for men and women, and the restroom? Spotless. Like, exceptionally clean--with a baby changing station too. We love to see it. Now let's talk about what really sets this place apart: there is zero thrift store smell. None. No mustiness, no funky mystery scent, no "digging through old clothes" vibe. It's cool, comfortable, and actually enjoyable to shop in. You feel like you're in a regular retail store... just scoring insane deals. Prices? Don't even get me started. I grabbed three items for $21. Shirts were around $4, jackets about $10, and yes--they even have wedding dresses (I saw one for $95!). Like... be serious. The store itself is clean, the floors looked well-maintained, and it's clearly family-friendly--I saw kids just casually walking around, living their best lives. Honestly, I'm a little put off that we don't have this chain in my state because this place is a whole experience. If you love thrifting but hate the chaos and the smell, this is your spot. AND, a major plus is "Whenever you donate or shop at a Deseret Industries location, you are contributing to our mission by helping individuals access resources that will help them succeed in future jobs" (https://www.deseretindustries.org).

I visited this store for my very first time after seeing it blow up on Tik Tok! For the holidays…read morethey were offering bundle bags on Black Friday. The videos I saw showed the strip mall being so packed with vehicles & people that there was actually a police presence just to help manage with crowd control. I recently moved closer, so I took the first opportunity I could to take a look at their goods in person yesterday...I was a little taken aback at how small the space is. From the moment I walked up to the front door- I was shocked to see that, that many people could have been waiting in line for hours and that the store would have enough merchandise to accommodate ALL those customers?! That said, I found the shop inside decorated in that retro style very suitable & quaint, but also only about 8 racks spread out openly throughout the store. The prices in my opinion were ridiculously high except for the $10 clearance rack by the front entrance. Even at that, many shirts I found stained, logos cracking/fading, with holes, or paint marks and overall just not in great condition for the cost! Additionally, they do have some pants, jackets and hoodies as well. Employees never welcomed us in. Too busy eating sandwiches. Find it very unprofessional to eat your food on the floor and at the registers counter to boot! They buy daily for vintage. You'll receive cash or credit. Generally, you will get more in store credit than in cash. Currently, they're accepting winter items and are being very "picky" ( as the two employees told me) about t-shirts. Odd since that's mainly what they carry & with that Tik Tok craze you'd think they would have needed a heck of a lot more merchandise unless it didn't fair well? Yet, again it's a small space with not a lot to offer, so wondering if they have things in storage and they rotate often or seasonally? Doubtful this will be a place I'd return. Think you can get more money by selling your goods on-line thru numerous apps. Or, going to a thrift store and finding vintage gems!

We browsed for a little bit, but flabbergasted at the pricing. $30-50 for a faded t-shirt. I get they are vintage, but the prices seemed insane! Even a pair of mall goth style shorts were $125! Insanity! We likely won't return as we both will not pay those prices. Upon entrance and even exiting we were greeted by an employee at the door, which was the positive here (hence 3-stars).

Total corporate robot who refused to talk to me like a human being. Me and my friend went to this location and were approached by an older man who we immediately got the sense was creepy. He'd made a comment towards us that rubbed us wrong, and after the interaction, another young girl came up to us saying he'd just done the same thing to her. As we went to the check-out, we noticed him engaging with other young girls who looked visibly uncomfortable. He continued to look around, made eye contact with me, and approached us again. He lingered near us and me and my friend were so scared that we ran to the car. As me and my friend left, we still felt unsettled and decided to call the location to give them a warning that there was an old man walking around acting creepily towards young girls. The woman who answered the phone immediately understood who we were talking about and handed the phone to the manager. She was great. Now this man, named Tyler, apparently, acted terribly. We explained the situation to him, and he merely repeated there was nothing he could do. To say there was nothing he could do, when there very much was something he could do, felt incredibly irresponsible as a manager, as well as a human being who SHOULD feel a sense of concern for younger girls. We stated we didn't wish for any drastic decision, but the store should simply keep a preventative eye on the older man to ensure the safety of the customers. We repeated this many times, only to be met with shameless attitude and carelessness. Bored, mumbling nonsense came from this man's mouth. He kept citing that under corporate policy, he couldn't do anything, which doesn't seem true. Once again, talked to me like a corporate robot rather than a human being who is simply concerned for their customer. I will NEVER return to this establishment knowing it could put my life in danger and they would do nothing about it.
