While, I'm not a regular shopper here, I do like to walk around and catch some great finds at great prices when I do visit. I initially went there for coffee because the price of coffee in grocery stores is up there with the price of gas and beef under the 2.0 Orange Man in the Oval. Although I don't care for or own a Keurig machine, I bought these pods for the price: 80 for $25. I just cut open the lid and pour the grounds into the filter, let it brew and call it a day. This store didn't have any regular ground coffee only tons of K-pods. First time trying Entenmann's coffee, in fact, I didn't know they made coffee, (although it makes sense because they started out making pastries) but these flavors are amazingly good!! I love the maple pecan so far. They also have cinnamon apple, pumpkin spice, and cinnamon crumb cake - 20 pods each. Very bold and rich despite the setting on my Cafe Specialty Drip Maker, I always select the gold and not bold. You will indeed get a caffeine rush with a nice aroma with each sip. I will say, they do have some unusual food items like pistachio milk and salt and vinegar pickled eggs!! I remember pickled eggs back in the day but the brine was reddish in color. Not sure what's in here but I'll pass. I haven't tried the pistachio milk yet but I bought it for my coffee....hoping it's good for only $0.99.

It was a little difficult to find because their address online says the city's name is Jefferson and my GPS only recognizes Jefferson as a parish. Now I know it's in New Orleans city, and not all the far away at all. It's located literally right by the river, separated by a grassy bank and the levee. The building is HUGE. It's like a warehouse divided into little rooms, all of which are decorated with amazing antiques and thrifty finds for a fairly reasonable price (about 125 for a desk-sized table, 150 for a wardrobe or dresser). It's not the cheapest spot, but the quality of the merchandise makes up for it. They get most of their merchandise from estate sales, apparently, and the eclectic collection certainly reflects that. Several of the rooms are themed: jewelry, records, children's furniture and toys (there was an amazing vintage rocking chair that I would buy just to anticipate having children... except I'm not), books, etc. Outside in a small gated area, they sell specialty Mexican pottery, most of which is large and would be appropriate for a yard, and wrought iron benches and trellises. I purchased a vintage bracelet for $5, and I can't wait to go back and actually purchase furniture, once I'm moved in! Lots of the same styles, so not a ton of variety there. One thing that really stood out was the shoe section, especially if you're a size 10. There was a very large selection, which isn't always easy to find. Overall, a solid stop if you're looking for quality denim and shoes, but also know that it's Nordstrom Rack so options will always vary.

I gave her some change (.75) to deduct before paying with my credit card and she said "thanks" and left the change on top of her register (assuming I gave it to her). I asked her if she was going to deduct it first prior to paying with my CC and she rudely told me that I didn't tell her that. I was like WTF?
