This time around, I wanted to minimize the number of items that I end up buying once I get to my destination. It's such a waste since often these items end up being overpriced and costing me. Dollar stores like this one are well stocked with inexpensive, travel-sized items. You'll find these items in the area closer to the front of the store, to the near the registers. This location also has a good inventory of snacks and pantry items. You'll see this as soon as you enter the store. Cold cases line the wall to the right and there are about three long aisles of food stuff (it's 6 aisles really, 3 closer to the front and 3 towards the back). The generic house brand at Dollar General is Clover Valley; it's pretty decent! I also like seasonal items and some of the craft supplies sold here. All pros - Good inventory; well organized and clean store; easy to get to from Route 21; bathroom inside; lots of parking. I'll most likely be back.

It is definitely not a luxury or high-end thrift store, but it is a great option for those who don't care much about designer labels and want to find good condition clothing and house items at a fraction of what you would pay elsewhere. The styles may not be the most fashionable or up-to-date, but a smart fashionista should have no problems creatively picking out pieces that will work for her (or him). With all the suspect donation trucks out there that supposedly goes to 'help' Veterans when a little digging shows poor stewardship of their donations and money, Hana is a great alternative. The thrift store is run to support their work in Paterson and other low-income areas, and to programs for substance abuse or at-risk children, a fact that some of their employees are rather proud of for good reason. I would rather my donations go to support local communities than the pockets for people who create 'non-profits' for their own gains. I recommend supporting this thrift store either with your money or with your donations.

Interior is not large, but they use the available space well. Paradox has a wall of new pull books and many shortboxes of back issues. Above these shortboxes are a fair selection of toys and collectables. Behind the counter are Pop Vinyl's, variant comic covers, and wall books. This is a good small shop that has just about everything you would want out of a local comic shop.

Second time I was there lucky it was a line this time, but I asked the cashier a simple question and she gave off attitude for no reason at all. Towards the end of the transaction when she noticed that I was killing her with kindness, she finally turned around her attitude. Probably going to stick with getting my water from near where I live instead. This location doesn't seem to care for customer service much.

The people who work here are really helpful, so much that when i bought a small bestat statue they went out of their way to try to find the correct box...and when the correct one wasn't found--the lady took her time and insisted on wrapping it properly so it wouldn't break. I recently came here for a small psychic and spirt fair and really enjoyed it. however, the place is really small and don't think it was wise how they organized it for everyone. there just wasn't enough room. eventually after hours of waiting to see my medium, my friends and i just said screw it and sat on the floor in the back of the store. since the wait was super long the people who work here and organized it brought in food for us. this was so sweet and deff helped with the wait. there was coffee, soda, sandwiches, bagels, agh the list goes on. all for free too. i am deff looking forward to coming back and possibly attending some classes here. street parking & $10 min on cards
