Although I can see a few ppl working on stocking the aisles, there's only person doing the balloons and also cashier. I feel bad for her as it's a lot since it's not in the same location. She kept her cool though and helped the 3 ppl in front of her needing assistance. I had over 15 balloons I bought and she had to fill it with helium. She did it and not soo stressed with a great attitude too. Still thinks she should received help. $35 later with a few large balloons and 12 standards. Cheaper than most places. I ran in to get a few things and had the unfortunate luck of being checked out by EK. She was extremely rude and apparently doesn't enjoy her job. She was very short and hardly acknowledged her customers in line. When she was done with my transaction she shoved my bags at me, didn't hand me a receipt and turned away to help the person behind me ignoring me. I had shown up to this Dollar tree today this morning, asking to load $20 onto my card when I was met by a very sarcastic manager, who did not act like she wanted to be there at all the aisles were incredibly dirty and disorganized. They barely had anything on the shelves. The employees had been blocking the aisles from accessing most of the drinks, and when the manager had come down to load the money on my card, she had given me incredible amounts of attitude when they told me it was about a $3.11 fee to add cash to a card I had then just said whatever scanned it and she had charged the card without adding the cash first and then sent me out and said well we can't refund you sorry but already charged my card for $3.11 which isn't a lot of money, but at the end of the day, it's not her hard earned money that is being spent and not refunded. I was met with lots of attitude for just asking simple questions and her own lack of compliance and negligence to know her own policies for adding cash to a card. read more

UNHYGIENIC STAFF MEMBERS. why is it everytime I come here the people ringing me up are very gross? This is my local dollar tree and while I absolutely love the inventory here their team members can do better. I restock on goods in my home from dollar tree often and this is the 3rd time someone ringing me up has absolutely DISGUSTED ME. I had a white lady ring me up literally pick her nose mid scanning items and then continued to touch and scan my items without applying hand sanitizer.. I was so distraught I just said nothing and went home and wiped down my items with Clorox wipes. Another visit a Hispanic woman coughed into her hands and proceeded to ring me up. I kindly asked her if she can use hand sanitizer as my household is prone to getting sick and she said "I don't believe in hand sanitizer" like HOW?!? She's spreading germs how gross.. cough into your arm like a normal courteous person then! And the last visit I had an Asian girl ring me up and she kept itching her head while scanning my items. She may have an uncomfortable condition of dandruff (not her fault and nobody is perfect) however she kept scratching her head so vigorously while ringing me up it was so gross knowing her dandruff or hair oils were likely getting all over my stuff she was scanning. Some people may say I'm dramatic but it's obvious my personal shopping experience is being compromised due to people being disgusting. IF YOU ARE THE MANAGER PLEASE TALK TO YOUR STAFF ABOUT HYGIENE. It's sick. We live in Henderson. It's supposed to be pleasant over here. I do have one shoutout though! There is one African American man that works the later shifts lately and he always is kind, polite to me and my husband and I noticed he's just self aware and uses hand sanitizer. This is a pleasant place to pick up some things in a hurry. I like to buy energy drinks from this store before going into the nearby Sunset Station to gamble. This store is always clean and well-stocked with the items I'm looking for. The employees here are friendly and keep the checkout line moving quickly. I must warn all who are reading: most of the other people you'll encounter in this store are old and slow. You must be very patient in this store. I love Dollar Tree even though it's not one dollar anymore! There are so many good finds and things you never thought you would find! However you have to be careful otherwise you may end up paying more than it would normally cost at regular stores. Nowadays Dollar Tree is $1.25 Tree and yeah it adds up quickly! How is it that the dollar store is selling Armor All for $5, but when you check Walmart, it's $3.97? That's ridiculous. This is a late review but better late than never. I really enjoyed shopping at this Dollar Tree. First, I save money buying birthday decorations but I like the variety of picture frame I can get to help me decorate my home. You can also get organizations items to help organize the bathroom and my daughter beads. We can also get Dino nugget and Arizona teas and yard decorations. Now that I have your attention, here's what I gotta mention: Out of the Dollar Tree stores in the area, the one here at Galleria Commons is the most reliable. Organized, cleaner, well stocked. You can count on this location to have their seasonal items out on the floor before the other stores too. The layout of this place seems more spacious too. Doesn't feel cramped. The cashiers have been always friendly and moved the line quickly. I've never run into surly employees, although I've witnessed disrespectful customers who think their $hit don't stink! Last minute dinner party? for 60? BOOM! No problem! Silver plated serverware, drinkware, flatware, tablecloths, bake pans, supplies for floral arrangements, tea lights.. foil balloons (they don't charge for helium either) Whew! That was my latest shopping adventure and DTS saved me $$$ Im not familiar with their grocery items since I limit frozen and canned foods in our pantry. Not gonna judge or shame anyone though for buying. Just make sure you read the labels and watch out for unfamiliar ingredients and expiration dates... This store was located where we needed it to be on our path home. We needed light bulbs and this is a inexpensive store to stock up on. We had this problem with light bulbs seem to pop regularly at our residence recently. This store had a huge stock of light bulbs in all sorts of wattages. They even sell the odd shaped bulbs that light my bathroom vanity up. This trip was a score and I will be seeing for awhile. The store was very busy and the lines were very long but it seemed to move smoothly. The cashier was friendly and made small talk with each guest as they proceeded through her line. The store was so very hot too. With this being a hot state and over 90 degrees outside the air is a must here. I believe that when one walks in the store the air conditioning should cool one off. Let's hope it was just us but the cashier mentioned this is a typical temp of the store. read more

This store is pathetic. It's constantly a mess, the few team members available are stoic and unhelpful, and their products are crap, often completely unusable, and yet they don't offer refunds or store credit. You HAVE to go pick something right then and there to "exchange", don't ask me how that's different than store credit..I don't know! Well it's still a Dollar Tree, not Nordstrom, so I guess given the aforementioned points, they'd maybe be in the 2 star range..until today took it drastically down to a single star at best... I was kicked out of the store by the store manager and "district trainer", Tammy, for repeatedly asking for clarification on their "exchange" policy. From the moment I started to speak, she rudely interrupted and just talked over me, never really looked at me or wholly addressed me, instead she continued to help other guests entering the line even though I had already been standing there speaking to her alone without anyone in line- rude to me and rude to the other guests, but only ever apologized to them like I'm in the wrong for speaking to her when she can't be bothered to discuss the situation with me. There are two brief sentences on the receipt regarding unsatisfactory purchases with no deadline or "expiration" of the exchange window. After she continued to ignore/talk over my inquiries, I then asked if it was the store/company policy to open a new register and take guests from the back of the line (who just got in line) as opposed to any one of the other guests who had already been waiting in line (myself included) like she did. She was disrespectful, dismissive and curt, never once bothering to actually hear me out or respond to anything I said, then just kicked me out of the store rather than handle the issue individually and privately with an upset customer. If a guest is confused or wanting clarification on your store's policies, you should probably take 60 seconds (at the very least) to politely explain any discrepancies and try to find a solution- it's kinda like there are plenty of "dollar store brands" and they are easily confused for customers. It's also kinda like every other dollar retailer is your competition with essentially the exact same products and you should be try to win your customers with honey, not vinegar. Oh well! Dollar Tree doesn't need another dime of my money if they can't handle the most simple of questions kindly and respectfully!! read more

Good prices, nice selection but poor customer service. I needed to run in to buy trash bags. I got what I needed and got in line. The lady in front of me had PILES of stuff. I'm talking about at least 100 items. I waited patiently but noticed the lady at the cash register was moving VERY slowly and chatting with the customer. As politely as I could, I asked if it's possible to open another check stand? The employee, without any consideration, immediately stated no. It's just me so no. Apparently, more than one person needs to be in line in order for you to have any value. I quietly stood there for about 20 minutes and could see several employees just walking around. Then, another customer walked towards the cash register and the manager walked over, opened up another check stand, rang them up, and then walked away. At this point, myself and now another lady behind me continued to just stand there and wait our turn. (It happened so fast we didn't even have a chance to run over to that lane.) In the meantime, the employee at my register continued to talk to the person in front of me, telling her she has over 30 years of retail experience, yada yada. I understand that this is a discount store and you get what you pay for but the customer service really could have been a lot better. read more

I went in this evening look I m g for a couple specific items and didn't find them but was fine with my other items I was going to purchase, UNTIL I got to the register and had to deal with the RUDEST cashier who said she was the Manager. I was purchasing a few pieces of wallpaper and asked that she not bend them when she put them in the bag this was all I asked her but she did bend them and then she placed a bottle of shower liquid on top of them which was just as bad if not worse than bending because if they get wet they are ruined. She (Natalie if that was her name it was the name listed on the receipt) muttered something under her breath and at first I thought she was saying she didn't have two cents but then I remembered I paid with a credit card so I was like excuse me as I was just moving some things from one bag to another so things didn't get ruined. Then I heard her say you need to leave and I said excuse me did you just ask me to leave? She said yes and I AM THE MANAGER SO I HAVE THE RIGHT TO TELL YOU TO. I was like WHAT? She then took one of my bags and threw it onto another counter behind her and told me to get my bags and leave. I was mortified I did nothing nor did I say anything wrong to get that kind of treatment. So then she said I have a line can't you see the line! I said Yes and I stood in that line for 20 minutes and all I wanted was my items to not get ruined because she bagged them without any regard to if they might get ruined. So I said WOW WHAT A GRINCH YOU ARE! MERRY FLIPPING CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO! I don't know if she was the manager or of Natalie was even her name but dang if she doesn't like dealing with the public she should get a different job as her people skills needs some work. I contacted another store to get General Manager Info and I've contacted corporate. She might like to bark her little manager status but i promise if you are the manager and ask someone to leave make sure you have a legitimate reason for requesting them to leave and that you aren't just on a power trip, having a bad night or that you just hate your job.. Because your little bark could come back at you with a bigger bark and a massive bite. How does she know she wasn't being shopped???? It's called Mystery Shopper for a reason! This is why you should always put your best foot forward! I will just say I have NEVER BEEN TREATED WITH SUCH DISRESPECT FOR NO REASON! Natalie if thats her names needs a lesson in Management and Customer Service because how she treated me tonight was the worst customer service and by far the worst management skills I have ever seen. She needs some true education in both areas to say the least. I hope this is not Dollar Tree's standard of customer service and I sincerely hope Dollar Tree has better standards for how Managers conduct themselves for their company and towards their customers. If not I may just have to take my business elsewhere. We shall see if they corporate or the GM responds. If they don't I will be very disappointed overall. Basically what you expect from Dollar Tree- lots of fun merchandise at good prices. I love coming here for holiday and birthday and any other kind of celebration supplies. And I really enjoy seeing all the unusual stuff you can find here. It would have gotten a 3 or 4 star review because it is basically a normal Dollar Tree, maybe nicer. However, avoid cashier Abigail. She made it average out to a 2 star rating. Sulky, unpleasant, glaring across the store at people, mumbling under her breath, almost a reproachful tone, seems incredibly unhappy in her job. I fact, she made it seem like doing her job is bothering her. Today, I was bothered by what qualifies as a service dog. Some people get very defensive and I get it... so don't bring your dog when you know they are not allowed everywhere. Clearly, was not a service dog and most helper dogs will not approach ppl- they will stay close to their owner. This dog went everywhere . Dog was small but did not keep their distance with customers and the owner does nothing about it with a long leash. I wish managers would be brave enough to speak to these ppl. The only way I knew it wasn't a helper dog was bc she stated to her mom ' I'm so glad I was able to get her from the shelter today' so it's a new dog and is curious about everything- not the best time to take your non helper dog there. No training. And owner just got her THAT day.. wow As a paying customer, I should feel comfortable where I'm shopping and I also have my rights as a human. I left ! read more

This is my MOST favorite dollar tree in the area. It's always EXTREMELY CLEAN AND ORGANIZED. There are ALWAYS multiple associates working and multiple cashiers if the lines get too long. They also are very sociable and polite. Fantastic. They don't have as big of a selection as other stores, but it's such a nice store overall. :) read more

Lois is extremely unwelcoming i live a few miles away from this location and prefer driving all the way to this store cus of a great selection of items how ever Lois an older Caucasian lady was extremely rude and confrontational with me she seemed bothered cus I removed some items from my cart last minute and set them down on the side she sassed me and told me she dosent get paid my the mile that i would have to take the items back to the shelves before she could check me out I was extremely baffled for this is her job and is getting paid to complete this basic duties every time I go she gives me the dirtiest looks and I am almost certain that she is a RACIST! Living big on a small budget. I love this store, it's always neat and tidy and the people who work here are very nice. This place has a lot to offer, spices, BBQ sauce, marinades, household items etc. I go here way too often, to grab props for photo shoots and to get household items on the cheap. If you are on a tight budget or just a smart shopper looking for good deals I highly recommend this place be your first spot to stop at. They have an amazing card selection as well, I do all my card shopping here. What's nice is this spot doesn't attract the carnival side show that the 99cent sore on marks does. I truly feel bad for the associates in this store, because the air is never on, or the store doesn't have it or something, but as someone who is usually cold & very rarely uses AC myself, when I'm actually hot, I know others are probably dying...especially when the sun is beating on the store, that being said 90% of time when I go in there all of the associates are polite and helpful, & still in good spirits despite being hot, all except Lois! She has to be the best example of bad customer service I've ever met! I honestly don't understand how she is still employed, I'm in several local craft groups & every time someone mentions a bad experience, Lois's name follows. Last night was the straw that broke the camel's back, I heard them call her to the register as I was getting in line, 25 minutes later she came, I was next and had a cart of about $45 in items, she dryly said "I guess you're next" as I started to follow her she tells a lady with an armful of stuff WHO JUST GOT IN LINE, I'll take you first since that's all you have, the lady knew Lois was wrong & declined, but me being the person I am, let her go.. As Lois is waiting on her she snaps at me about stacking all of my items on the belt (I don't know where else I was supposed to put them), & I was just done, I let her know she makes me sick & I can't stand her customer service, to anyone looking on it probably seemed a little extreme, especially when I gave her the finger, but this was not our first rodeo, she has been rude in the past & I've cussed her out in the past, she even apologized once, because apparently she herself realized how rude she was! I accepted & she was okay after that, until yesterday... I get it as much as anyone, I work customer service myself, everyone has bad days, & it's not always easy to leave stuff at home, but if this was the first time she was rude, I would've excused it. This was my main store when I lived in that area, but now I'm finding other stores, I always have large orders, always stack them on the belt, yet this is the only associate who has ever complained or been rude! I walked into the store and was greeted with respect by the clerk behind the register . Then young Lady who was busy working the floral arrangements. She was eager to assist another customer and myself. Although, both lines was long Ange a cashier along with the other clerk was working rapidly and made sure they kept the atmosphere friendly by engaging the customers . Another clerk came in from his break and seen the lines and attempted to get straight to work by clocking in. Unfortunately, the register froze. It's out in the open and he was perplexed worrying about the customers. Ange advised him to get Tamara or something that starts with T( I'm sure this is not the correct spelling of her name, she was the only one out of uniform and in a red shirt ) she proceeded to loudly insult the gentleman " you had to do something to it or touch something you shouldn't have" he stated he didn't and if he did it must have been on accident prior to his break and he's sorry. Yet she kept going. Now, the tone in the store has completely changed, ... within in minutes the manager had turned an enjoyable shopping experience into a very uncomfortable moment for everyone! As a director I wanted to take her in the back and show her the so she could see how she could be easily lose the company business. Customer service goes a long way! It just not extend to the paying customer but to employees as well! Humankindness is beautiful and is a must! Somehow we as humans forgot that! I'm sure everyone has a bad day and makes mistakes and this is probably one for her! Forgiveness is key! However, apologies is a start! read more

19 people in line and one cashier. I asked the cashier if there was someone else who could possibly come and help at the registers. She said "I'm all there is". When I told her that this was poor management She told me not to tell her about. I went to find the manager who is in the back. When I told her that she had 19 customers in line with one cashier she didn't care. She said she was on a break. When I told her that this was poor management she just looked at me as if she could care less. The cashier and the manager and the regional manager should all be fired. None of them have enough people skills to be working in the public. I know this is the dollar store but since everything there is worth about $.25 you know they're making profit when everybody is buying multiple items. These people make the dollar tree seem like it should be called the $.10 tree. I watched at least five customers walk out the door while I was in the store because of their frustration. They're losing money handover fist while attitudes are flying around by the employees. They did have one guy stocking the shelves were it was very nice and helpful. read more
