Really horrible obnoxious attitude from store manager VALERIE who needs to be evaluated by corporate offices. I'm in education and buy items to donate and she has caused me to avoid this location. She escalates situations and screams and yells at customers. I tired to inquire about a cost of an item. She ignored me so I am was planning to take the item to a in store scanner for the price. She then starts yelling at me about "bags". I was so shocked, I asked her several times if she was addressing me. Her response was to tell me to put the blue bag away? What blue bag? She was screaming at me in front of the whole store as if I had stolen an item!!! What? I showed her all the items I had in my cart and hands and her response was roll her eyes. She did not apologize to me when proven wrong. When checking out she informed me items I purchased were not priced correctly. She called over the store intercom to have items pulled from the shelf. I informed her those items appear on the Dollar Tree website for that price. Again no apology for HER mistake. Earlier while shopping I witnessed her screaming at another shopper to never return to HER store. Corporate or district manager PLEASE review cameras and investigate this employee VALERIE. I am not expecting a luxury service at the Dollar Tree but Valerie's behavior is completely unacceptable. read more

The manager lady is extremely rude and judgmental. She will say mean things about you in Spanish thinking that you don't understand what she is saying. Horrible, horrible service. Judgmental and just an overall mean person. Don't support this place read more

The manager needs to be trained on how to de-escalate a situation and how to be more professional. Guess I can't expect much from dollar tree though‍ read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this Dollar Tree due to the manager, Karla. During my visit, I witnessed her snap at a cashier in front of customers. Her tone was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Managers should lead by example, and publicly scolding or speaking down to employees creates an uncomfortable environment for both staff and customers. It was awkward to witness and made the store feel tense and unwelcoming. Retail is stressful, but that does not excuse treating employees with disrespect! especially in front of others. I hope corporate addresses this, because no employee deserves to be spoken to that way, and customers should not have to witness it. read more

Watch out for a bag fee when you don't buy one. I didn't ask for a bag. Checking receipt it has "bag fee." I want my ten cents back read more

Most of the cashiers are rude especially the girl with nose rings on both sides of her nose. The store is always messy, a lot of empty products. I feel like I'm being generous with the ratings after my experience yesterday. As I walked in to pick up essentials for work, I was exploring the aisles to look for a few specific items. I was unable to find the aprons and mittens so I asked this young hispanic store assistant to guide me where I can find it; she purposely sent me to the wrong aisle because when I asked the other elderly lady for it-- she told me everything should all be at front against the wall. After I gathered all the items and lined up at the cash register, the moment it was my turn.. the young hispanic lady with the long hair store associate turned the light off and closed the checkout line when she could've told me to merge a long time ago. Well, that's a darn shame. To the miss that had a issue with me before I barely stepped in, that is a ü problem. Additionally, you should never work in customer service if you're going to act in such way for no reason. It was immature; once you grow out of that petty mean girls phase, you'll thank me. No customer should ever experience that kind of behavior. For someone who's lived in this hood for more than a decade, I'm kind of flabbergasted. Well, I didn't get her name because she didn't make a decent impression. In other words, a friendly reminder that the universe will test people on what they rather do in any areas... just be mindful. Better luck next time. x read more

This is a great Dollar Tree location. They have a lot of merchandise and it's very organized and clean. Worst experience ever! I came in to shop, and the employee was harrassing me. She was following me throughout the store during my whole time there and she kept accusing me for stealing. I've shopped there for years and they suddenly accuse me of stealing. She used the store speaker to say "don't open anything in the store" and she ran over the check the items as soon as I picked it up to check it out. She is the only one who does that to me. She even called her manegar to call me out on the speaker. I had nothing to hide, they could've searched me if they wanted, but they would see that I'm innocent. Don't waste your time with a store that hires rude employees like her. The employee's name is Elliana. read more

Not much to say about this place. A little comparison versus the Rosemead location. Both have some items that the other doesn't and I think this place is a little bigger though the Rosemead location is a little more attractive. Also I think the workers here area little nicer. A good location, all in all although I think you would be happier going to the 99 nearby 0:-) More quality, quantity, variety and name brand products! read more

If i could i would give this location 0 stars i would, because of the way the cashier treated my mother and i. We came to this location because it's the closest to my home, 3/28/19 at 8:40 I lined up to pay and when i was 1 customer closer to the cashier my mom places her items since she noticed we are next and the cashier tells my mom she is closed, and so I mentioned to her that she is with me and she says again "i am close" so I mentioned that i was there and she didn't told me she was closed, in which she mentioned " well, i am close now" in a very rude way. If the cashier should have told me, turned off her light, put up a sign or anything that would have warn me about her been closed I would have go to the other check-stand and avoid bad treatment but by the time she told me, the other line started to get long, and i could have lined up but i was already miss treated and most of all i can't stand people treating me or my family rude and what I felt unfairly. I understand she was tired but in no way she needed to take it on me or my mother. We as customers deserve a better treatment specially when i was polite to her. I didn't follow the argument with her and took my business elsewhere. Thank you very much, and i am definitely not coming to this store again. There are plenty of other business i can go and get good customer service. read more

Great Dollar Tree! I always stop by here on the way home from work when I need to grab something. One time, I was shopping and accidentally spilled a bottle that I was carrying around. I was freaking out because umm... who randomly spills things in a dollar tree. One of the workers saw me and was like oh we'll clean that right up. I offered to pay for the item but they were like it was ok. Random experience aside, this dollar tree is well stocked and has some great goodies at a cheap price. read more
