Rude woman at the door at 8:50. Yes I walked in at 8:50 after the employee unlocked the front door. The employee looked me up and down and told me " You have 10 minutes Okay!!!" With a rude tone. I actually like coming into this particular dollar tree because I like the different items they have. They always have a different selection compared to other locations. The only reason I gave a 4 is because they usually only have one person on the register and a lot of people in line. They give good service as far as the employee at the register I just feel bad that they are usually handling 10 people in line, but I like their selection of items so I go there. read more

I wanted to take a quick minute to recognize a young man that works here. I didn't see a name tag. He was just absolutely pleasant to everyone who walked in. "Hello Welcome". Or "Hello, let me know if you need help." And when I went to his line to checkout, he was just so nice. It stands out because people aren't like that anymore. I purchased mylar balloons at a dollar tree the teller advised they were out of helium and sent me to another location at Florence and Lakewood. The teller there told me she wouldn't fill the 2 balloons because they dont sell them. I bought them from dollar tree. She asked to see the receipt. I produce it. After seeing it and confirming the sale she then came up with a helium shortage..... and because I didnt purchase from their location she wouldn't fill the 2 balloons. Poor business practices. This Dollar Tree is super stocked with things you need for Thanksgiving! Got just about everything I needed except the turkey for only $1. Staff were very friendly and helpful - getting me items I needed in bulk from the storeroom (have a very large extended family). Bought Christmas items I didn't need yet because they were so cute. I came twice this week. Monday, the store was not opened on time. I waited until 8:10, and still no one arrived. Thursday, I came back. I sat in my car, waited for the store to be open at 8am. I saw two employees jump in the car at 7:52, then they arrived LATE AGAIN, 6 minutes after. IRRESPONSIBLE. Customers were waiting. read more

Best Dollar Tree Store because of the amazing staff. I've been coming here now for a little over 3 months and in those 3 months I can tell you the following: The seems to know most of the customers by first name basis, which says alot. They always have the place tidy and organized. If your missing an item they will order it, so on your next visit - it's in. They go out of their way to assist guest (like me) and always have such a pleasant attitude and smile. Thank you ladies for making my shopping that much more enjoyable. FYI - I drive 15-20 min out of my way just to visit this store. Others I've been to have been below par level to say the least. read more

A bit disappointed .... This store needs major clean up and organization. Clerks need to get paid a little bit more so that they have a reason to work, they're nice but no pep at all, I'm pretty sure they work as much as they can BUT they are not going to run after someone stealing merchandise, which is exactly what happened while I was there. I was amazed and saddened, there were at least 5 males that walked into the store as if they owned it, yelling from one side of the store to the other....and I got worried...I was checking out and these men which were over the age of 18 basically took stuff and walked out....I overheard a cashier say it happens daily ..... Wonnnnnderfullllll.... Obviously the owners of this location could care less what their store looks like, who works for them and how simple they make it for people to steal and for customers to get hurt by people who walk in and walk out with merchandise without paying for it! HORRIBLE SERVICE! There are other people who need a job, maybe you should think about hiring new staff. I was in the store to buy one item, ONE lol! I guess they would rather help each other first before helping customers. A young guy named Eric (sp?) wanted to buy a water and I guess he was having fun pressing all the buttons on the register because he froze the cashiers computer. The woman at the register did try to apologize, but when I noticed there was what seemed to be a lead come out of the room he just said to wait a little bit for it to "unfreeze" then reboot it. During that time they finally decided to go to another register and I was going to get helped by them, but that guy Eric (sp?) took my item and did whatever the hell he did with it. So I just left. This guy Eric (sp?) needs to be retrained or something. Lead needs to be retrained to jump in and assist customers if a problem occurs with a check out register. Glad I didn't give them my money and I will not be giving them my money. read more

They get no stars..as soon as we walked in the cashier gave us attitude for asking her about her balloons. She didn't have a name tag but the one with glasses. We drove from the bell gardens one to this one for the same reason that their employees have such an attitude to everyone. You guys need to start rethinking who you guys hire. The ladies here are always talking and not paying attention that there are customers in line. Then if you ask than to blow up balloons they say ok wait a minute, as they finish their conversation. Then one register is open with 10 people in line but the other employee and or manager is in the office. It's like this every time I have gone in there. read more

Best dollar tree around. Ever since they opened they keep everything clean and organize and fully stocked. I use to go to the one on Firestone but always end up coming to this one since the other one doesn't have much anymore. They are friendly and always greet customers. It's a smaller format but it's cozy. read more
