When I complained they said "listing was a mistake so here's your money back". I didn't want a refund. I wanted the 12 pot holders I agreed to buy as advertised and described on Amazon by Wasserstrom. Clearly a breach of the retail contract that I, Wasserstrom, and Amazon agreed to when I committed to buy the TWELVE pot holders for $9.73 Wasserstrom blamed Amazon but Amazon was adamant that an accurate item description was the responsibility of the selling partner... Wasserstrom. Amazon was no help at all but then all of a sudden the 12 pot holders were relisted on Amazon as 12 pot holders for $31.99 So is it fraud, bait & switch, breach of contract, or deceptive advertising? I'll see what the FTC says. Wasserstrom has been in business for 120 years. I wonder how many customers they have defrauded and ripped off in those 120 years?

We've even referred friends + relatives to them (high praise). Our salesman Chad Schirtzinger, his sales manager Chrissy Boasetti, and their fabrication + installation manager Toney Curry were all wonderful to work with - knowledgeable, professional, fair, reasonable, and genuinely nice. They have a big selection of slabs, and a huge room of remnants they can fabricate for smaller jobs, too. We weren't planning to, but found a rem to upgrade the countertop in a half-bath, too. This install was big and challenging - it took 3 huge slabs of matching Quartzite for a giant island and a full-height wall backsplash behind the stove. It took 8 strong men to carry and set the big island slab - I promise we were holding our breath the whole time they were carrying it in. There were a few small hiccups - that's going to happen with a big and complicated job like this. They fixed everything to our satisfaction - no hesitation, no complaints, no problem - they consistently "did the right thing" (which is refreshing and somewhat unusual these days). We kept changing our minds in the design process, and they handled our ideas and frequent changes with expert guidance, kindness and grace. AND... because hard surfaces aren't cheap, and Quartzite is quite expensive (2.5x-3x the cost of granite) - their prices were fair, fair, fair. They were fully 1/3 cheaper than another well-known granite fabricator I've spent a LOT of money with in the past (and never will again). The Granite Guy's prices were fair and reasonable for what we got. I cannot say this strongly enough - we recommend The Granite Guy 100%. 1,000%. 10,000%. Our customer experience with them was awesome and what you'd hope for, their prices were fair, the people are awesome, and we got exactly what we wanted at a price that didn't feel like we were being ripped off (if I show you the quote we got from "those other guys", you'll understand what I mean). This project transformed our kitchen, and our entire home. I've attached pix - check them out. Everyone loves our kitchen now. This class was three hours long and there was nothing offered but water and iced tea (on a 20 degree day). Long review but hopefully thorough to explain why I will be calling these guys first next time I…read moreneed a repair. My ice maker was broken for the 2nd time in a year and a half. Last company I used was very nice, but it was a hefty bill and it took a handful of days for them to come over, determine what was wrong, then a few more days to order the part. This was also in the summer time when I love having ice in my drinks. This time I sent out what I thought the job required via Yelp to several companies. Larue Mechanical Services was one of the first to respond. On top of that they were able to determine what the likely cause and fix was (basically just replacing it) and give me a total estimate cost of the repair before they came over. Other companies were able to provide me their service fees but their hourly rate would vary depending on the job. This isn't uncommon from what I can tell, but I like the fact that Larue was able to give me what they thought it would cost. I understand not all jobs can work like that as repairs can be more complicated and determined on site, but it was part of why I chose them. They were communicative, got the part ordered asap, and replaced it all in 2-3 days. The repair happened on a Friday, and turns out, there was a small error in replacing it. The new ice maker was just dripping water all over and freezing. I let them know this on a Saturday and, despite being closed, responded that they would have to come back out. They responded to several texts about what to do in the meantime to stop the water from building up any more (again while they were closed on a weekend). They were, unfortunately, swamped all day Monday with emergency calls from the weekend. As much as I wanted my machine repaired, I would not classify it as an emergency either. They were able to come out on Tuesday and get it all fixed up though. The final bill was just a little cheaper that what they previously estimated, which was nice. The final bill was also about significantly cheaper than the last repair I had on this freezer. I am going to call Larue first if I ever have an appliance repair need again (which I am sure is a matter of "when" not "if"). The gentleman who did the repairs also took a little time to give my cats and dogs a little attention to let them know he was a safe visitor, which was very nice to see as well.

You don't need alot. You dont want to pay an exorbitant price for the shingles and shipping. And you are a little, okay alot, clueless because this is a project, not a job. Well after alot of googling, we found Mueller. They had our shingles, in stock, at a reasonable price. And they gave us good advice. Hubby felt a little ridiculous with our cute little yellow Fit picking up behind all the contractors with their big trucks. But we have our cedar shingles and the nice worker even helped load them. Hubby is now happily tearing off the old shingles. One piece of advice, study the map before going there. Our navigation system was of no help. It is a tiny bit tricky getting there.
