So I found an item through one of those lists - 10 gifts ideas for co-workers - or something like that. It was the WTF sticky notes. PERFECT for my boss/friend. I saw it was from World Market - a store we have near by. So I went to their website and found the sticky notes. And looked for another gift to accompany it. To save shipping costs, I was looking for another item, both of which we available to order online and pick up same day. I found a future prediction pen. A nice fit with the notes. Both items cost me around $20 total. Not too much and not quite the dollar store cost and quality (or lack thereof). I ordered and paid online. I received the notice early the next day that they were available for pick up. I would be that way on Sunday after meeting friends for early coffee. I went to the store - only to find out it does not open until 11 AM on Sundays. Not cool. I had guessed they would open at 10 AM like other retail store. So I had to come back another day rather than sit in my car and wait for them to open. I popped in on my "lunch hour" and found the process to be super simple. The counter was right inside the door and there was no wait to speak to the clerk. She had my order handy and I was on my way in minutes. However, while I was there I saw some cool stuff. And figured there would be more cool stuff to find. So I made a plan to return when I had more time to shop. I came back after work later in the week and slowly made my way through the store. The first little gem I found was their incense and yoga themed products. I will definitely be back when I need to reload my incense stock - which I burn often every day! Next up - greeting cards. I almost bought a bunch on them while I was there - but decided to wait until next month when I'm closer to the string of family birthdays and celebrations that require cards. Moving on I was very surprised about the variety of products they carried. Next cool thing - all the food and drink options. All kinds of specialty teas and coffees among other things. The one thing I did buy was a bag of high end chocolate chips which saved me a stop and the grocery store on my way home (which is SO OVERPRICED - Giant Eagle - that I would have paid the same price for the common Nestle brand). Next cool things - office products. Sloth Yoga calendar and Freudian clips (paper clips shaped like Freud) topped the list of AWESOME! Moving on energy drinks - which I LOVE sugar free types. These were NOT sugar free but I loved the names - Hello Kitty and Bob Ross Positive energy drinks were my faves. So those were my highlights of which I'm also loading photos. I highly recommend you stop in and check it out - just leave plenty of time to see everything. I'll be back in a few weeks to stock up on greeting cards and see what is new since my last visit.

Honestly one of my favorite places to shop at. It's like a candy shop for adults. I try not to go here too often because I want to buy everything! I love that they have everything from house hold items, to clothes, to a variety of food. I really appreciate that there are drinks, foods and snacks from different countries in the world. Last time I went I found some of these squiggly noodles from Taiwan that I have been DYING to try. I couldn't even find it at the international market I've been going to. They have different types of teas, waters, and wine/beer. Their alcohol selection is to die for. Plus it's aesthetically pleasing! They even have items for a banging charcuterie board that was on sale when I went!! They have post cards, birthday cards, and cards for other occasions. You can find body washes and lotions, mugs, rugs, wine glasses, and other house hold tools. Their mugs are so cute you might not want to check it out. They have a rewards program where you can plug in your number at checkout. I signed up for their text messages and they always send coupons- whether it's a discount or a free item. Who doesn't like free stuff?! If you ever need a creative gift for someone, come to World Market!

I've been going to World Market for several years now, but I had a special encounter at this location so I felt like writing a review here. My boyfriend and I live near this location but we have always gone to the Lennox location since my work place was nearby. One day, we were here just browsing the store. They had this beautiful papasan chair displayed with a cute boho style canopy and a faux fur chair cushion. As soon as I saw it, I had to sit on it. OMG it was the coziest, the comfiest, and the most comfortable thing ever. I screamed "SOLD" instantly in my head. Before purchasing everything, we just wanted to ask someone about the weight limit, etc. That's how we met Anthony. Among this group of employees, he was the one who happily volunteered to help us, answered all kinds of questions, and later helped us place an in-store order. Unfortunately it took us a long time to received our order due to some other employees' personal issues. Therefore, my first in-store order experience with World Market didn't turn out great. When we went back to the store to inquire about the order a month later, Anthony was there. He happily corrected the problem and made sure that we left the store happy & would come back to shop again. This guy was so friendly and efficient. I'll be sure to return and do business with him! :) Thank you, Anthony! **the papasan chair, chair cushion, and canopy are all sold separately. world market offers many different chair cushions (price varies) to meet your style/taste be sure to check it out on their website & at your local store.

World Market is like the upscale version of HomeGoods, TJ Maxx and Hobby Lobby. But not as upscale as Pier 1. It's one of those stores you should going in. Not because you don't like it, but because it will eat your bank account. When my mom comes into town she always had me go there with her to stock up on wine. They really do have some of the cutest merchandise and the staff is helpful. They have good suggestions. It's also a good place for gifts or gift ideas.

Honestly, I love this place, and I'd say I live here to some degree. Hell, I'm here often enough The clearance is a great source for deals. I also enjoy the household detail items like the rugs and lamp shades. It's hard to find things that fit my tastes, but I tend to always see something here that I dig.

FALL IS IN THE AIR!…read more While shopping the Easton Center, I stumbled upon this store. It stood out for its colorful fall arrangements and beautiful outdoor displays. We walked inside to take a look and discovered the cutest home and garden décor center. Whether you have a full porch or simply a balcony, you can find something cute and timely to accent your space. I tend to do major fall décor throughout my home and within my garden because it just gets me in the mood and everyone loves it. I am just a huge fan of making a house a home and that's why I love these types of stores. Urban Home is a great store for finding cozy pillows with warm words of expression and inspiration. It is time to bring in some rich fall colors and holiday spirit. How about a nice throw and some new candles? Whatever you need to enhance your space and make it special, this store is a great resource.

Went into the Easton store this evening for the first and last time. Cute store with signs…read moreeverywhere saying 60% off holiday. One sign was located right by some holiday bird house feeders, some of which even read, "Merry Christmas." We chose one and went to check out and the saleswoman said it wasn't 60% off because they have bird stuff all year. What does that even mean? It was a red and green holiday item!! Someone from the store responded on Facebook and said "sorry for the confusion." There's no confusion on my part, they are being deceptive and rude. A RED and GREEN bird house is clearly a holiday item and they're all grouped together with the sale sign. I should have taken photos!!

I had such high hopes for this store for many reasons, but mainly the price. I have been waiting to…read morepost this review until the process was entirely over so that I could recount the entire event. I'll start at the very beginning when I decided that I was going to purchase a couch and went into the store to look at their selection. I stopped in on Memorial weekend since I knew that if I was going to make such a large purchase, I would rather do it on a weekend when there was a sale. I walked around the store for about an hour, testing the couches, taking pictures, and trying to find the one for me. During this time, not one employee asked me if I needed help, while I could clearly see them all staring at me. I don't want to assume why they did not help me, but it did feel like it was due to my age and appearance since they were quick to help the older couples that fit the store's demographic more accurately. I finally got an employee to help me, and she was very kind. I decided on the Wellington Sectional in the color Pearl. This was a special order since I got a custom color. I came back the next day with my mom to get her opinion and make sure I did not forget to ask any important questions before I made the purchase. Part of the Memorial sale required me to open a credit card, and this is where the trouble truly begins. Half of the couch was to be put on the credit card at the time of purchase, and then the other half at delivery. It was very frustrating opening the card since none of the employees truly seemed to know how their credit card system actually worked. They could not tell me if interest started accruing before or after delivery or any of the other questions that I asked. They told me that the couch was estimated to be delivered in November. I later get an email several months later saying that it was being delayed until the beginning of October, which as you can imagine was confusing. I decided to call and get an answer. Trying to get ahold of customer service has been nothing short of exhausting and unhelpful. They could not tell me why that email was sent and truly had no idea when to expect the couch. This became a real issue for me, since I had made arrangements for my current couch to be given to a friend based on their delivery estimate. Finally weeks later, I get an email saying that now it will be delivered in December. So, I have given my couch away, and will not have one until December. Once again, customer service and the furniture team had no idea what was happening and could not provide me any assistance and when they said they resolved the issue, it was never solved. This becomes a theme. Finally, I do receive the notification I can get my couch. I try to schedule delivery and I am told there is a hold on my account. This can't be since I pay my card every month and have never missed a payment. I call once again. They tell me that my credit card is expired. Now, how can a credit card opened in May expire in less than 6 months. So, once again, I have to figure the issue out myself for customer service. They tell me it is resolved and I can schedule delivery. A week goes by, there is still a hold. I call back and repeat this process. Turns out, the last woman didn't release the hold at all. Finally, the woman named Emily fixes my account after 3 tries and we schedule delivery. Besides the actual couch issues and customer service issues. There were also issues with me receiving my rewards that I was promised from the memorial weekend sale. Not only did they not upload to my account, once I called to have them added, they expired before I even received my couch. They send them to you in separate increments so that you cannot use them to purchase one large item. This sounds petty but after all of the hurdles, I was extremely irritated by this. I finally picked something out on the last day so that they did not go to waste and tried to have it shipped to my home, and shipping was $35, absolutely ridiculous. That was a site wide shipping price for small items. Then, my second round of points were not added, once again. Although, the couch I received is good quality and I am glad that I have it, I would NEVER purchase from this company again. It was not worth the several months of headache and acting as my own customer service agent. They knew they did wrong since they refunded shipping fees, but when you are paying over $3000 for a couch, you expect exceptional customer service and treatment. That is far from what I received.
