I always enjoy a good visit to a World Market, and this location did not disappoint! It's nice to peruse the eclectic mix of food, homegoods, decor, beverages, and more. This time of year it is a must-stop for me because of the great selection of ornaments. It is absolutely wild the unexpected options I have found there before, and this visit did not disappoint. It also has leveling feet built in so you can adjust those accordingly. I would like to mention Mitch, he was super helpful, super polite and just a joy to work with. He helped me load the heavy thing into my car and made sure that I was completely taken care of. I love this store. It is just so fun to visit it. Ive been coming to this store since it opened. Always friendly staffed. Always clean and tidy. Are you looking for kitchen ware... its got it. Are you looking for unique towels... yep its there. Wall art...they have a bunch of it. Tables n chairs... many! Patio furnitute. (I got mine there) soaps, candles, jewelry, unique gifts. Yep, yep and yep. Wine.... Beer... tea... coffee. Like many places, they have a buyers reward program. they will email or text you offers. Last Christmas I recieved a free advent calendar from one of the offers. Another time a percentage off my patio furniture. If you find you enjoy the store, Its worth signing up. Today I came in for licorice. I realize Im a small percent that loves licorice more than chocolate. They have many varieties that are not in the grocery stores. Plus this is pretty much the only place that I can find fresh AllSorts (licrice/fondant candy) and strawberry cream licorice. Speaking of chocolates: Today I also came in for Lindt Easter candy and some german chocolate ducks for my kids. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the chocolate wasn't 11.95 like it was on their online site. It was 5.95 at the store YAY I then hit their pantry section. Left with some nice Italian products. They have an amazing pantry section-you can find a few really great items in there. The one thing you should avoid there is their scone mixes. BLUK. I had excellent customer service and the place kept me busy as I walked around checking out all the great merchandise.

So I found an item through one of those lists - 10 gifts ideas for co-workers - or something like that. It was the WTF sticky notes. PERFECT for my boss/friend. I saw it was from World Market - a store we have near by. So I went to their website and found the sticky notes. And looked for another gift to accompany it. To save shipping costs, I was looking for another item, both of which we available to order online and pick up same day. I found a future prediction pen. A nice fit with the notes. Both items cost me around $20 total. Not too much and not quite the dollar store cost and quality (or lack thereof). I ordered and paid online. I received the notice early the next day that they were available for pick up. I would be that way on Sunday after meeting friends for early coffee. I went to the store - only to find out it does not open until 11 AM on Sundays. Not cool. I had guessed they would open at 10 AM like other retail store. So I had to come back another day rather than sit in my car and wait for them to open. I popped in on my "lunch hour" and found the process to be super simple. The counter was right inside the door and there was no wait to speak to the clerk. She had my order handy and I was on my way in minutes. However, while I was there I saw some cool stuff. And figured there would be more cool stuff to find. So I made a plan to return when I had more time to shop. I came back after work later in the week and slowly made my way through the store. The first little gem I found was their incense and yoga themed products. I will definitely be back when I need to reload my incense stock - which I burn often every day! Next up - greeting cards. I almost bought a bunch on them while I was there - but decided to wait until next month when I'm closer to the string of family birthdays and celebrations that require cards. Moving on I was very surprised about the variety of products they carried. Next cool thing - all the food and drink options. All kinds of specialty teas and coffees among other things. The one thing I did buy was a bag of high end chocolate chips which saved me a stop and the grocery store on my way home (which is SO OVERPRICED - Giant Eagle - that I would have paid the same price for the common Nestle brand). Next cool things - office products. Sloth Yoga calendar and Freudian clips (paper clips shaped like Freud) topped the list of AWESOME! Moving on energy drinks - which I LOVE sugar free types. These were NOT sugar free but I loved the names - Hello Kitty and Bob Ross Positive energy drinks were my faves. So those were my highlights of which I'm also loading photos. I highly recommend you stop in and check it out - just leave plenty of time to see everything. Honestly one of my favorite places to shop at. It's like a candy shop for adults. I try not to go here too often because I want to buy everything! I love that they have everything from house hold items, to clothes, to a variety of food. I really appreciate that there are drinks, foods and snacks from different countries in the world. Last time I went I found some of these squiggly noodles from Taiwan that I have been DYING to try. I couldn't even find it at the international market I've been going to. They have different types of teas, waters, and wine/beer. Their alcohol selection is to die for. Plus it's aesthetically pleasing! They even have items for a banging charcuterie board that was on sale when I went!! They have post cards, birthday cards, and cards for other occasions. You can find body washes and lotions, mugs, rugs, wine glasses, and other house hold tools. Their mugs are so cute you might not want to check it out. This is a fun place to discover so many different things, from clothing and jewelry, to home goods, to international foods and beverages. I found this store to be a bit crowded compared to the Polaris location. The aisles seemed closer together. But they have similar merchandise, and on this last visit I picked up our now go to coffee (Dallmayr prodomo) along with some blue tortilla chips, and a scraper set for our cast iron pans. So there's always something you can buy. My husband found his favorite beer of all time (Singha-the original Thai beer) so he was a happy camper. As usual, they have several shelves with 55% off products due to expire. One time I was in to get some red wine for the Memorial, didn't find any, but ended up with two 20 oz. bags of potato chips that totaled $1.20! Yay me! read more

Let's be honest, who doesn't love exploring World Market? Seriously? From the eclectic home goods to the international foodie treats, this store does a really good job at curating items that help you feel like your true self. In my experience, that true self is a bohemian goddess with all the cool things. I regularly find awesome jewelry and while the quality isn't always the best, I can always come back and get the same item again. This has happened a few times with a ring that I just love from here, but it doesn't happen to stay put very well. Good thing it's only like $6. I've also walked out with great odd and ends for my kitchen and excellent gifts for friends and family. Oh, and I can't forget about their endless supply of colorful fans. You know, like the ones you hold in your hand to cool off. They're cheap and make for a great accessory, especially in the summer or at concerts. I went to the Easton Market location today and was very disappointed in the lack of service. They had 1 cashier, with a long line, as minutes passed 2 ladies, assuming were managers were engaged in conversation, ignoring the line as it continues to grow. Finally an associate comes up and goes to the furthest register. Not asking for the next person in line , simply saying, I can help someone. The frustration of us in line continues . We counted at least 8 employees why weren't the managers on duty quick to get additional cashiers??????? I felt invaluable and unappreciated. I too work retail and I get the struggles, however I choose to shop here. I could have gone anywhere. Over the years this location has gone down the toilet. The staff is not friendly and can be rude. I love to walk around WM and look through all of the decor, gifts, jewelry, pillows, kitchenware and the international food! This has to be one my my top World Market locations. It's bigger than some of the others (except the Polaris location which I also love). They have a whole section in the front/middle of the store which has their seasonal items. If it's bare and seems like there's nothing there, you came at the "wrong" time but there way be some items left in their clearance section so don't forget to check that out!! Some items here can be pricey so check out sales and the coupons that you get when you sign up for their free rewards program. They give you $5 for every $100 you spend as well. I've been going to World Market for several years now, but I had a special encounter at this location so I felt like writing a review here. My boyfriend and I live near this location but we have always gone to the Lennox location since my work place was nearby. One day, we were here just browsing the store. They had this beautiful papasan chair displayed with a cute boho style canopy and a faux fur chair cushion. As soon as I saw it, I had to sit on it. OMG it was the coziest, the comfiest, and the most comfortable thing ever. I screamed "SOLD" instantly in my head. Before purchasing everything, we just wanted to ask someone about the weight limit, etc. That's how we met Anthony. Among this group of employees, he was the one who happily volunteered to help us, answered all kinds of questions, and later helped us place an in-store order. Unfortunately it took us a long time to received our order due to some other employees' personal issues. Therefore, my first in-store order experience with World Market didn't turn out great. When we went back to the store to inquire about the order a month later, Anthony was there. He happily corrected the problem and made sure that we left the store happy & would come back to shop again. This guy was so friendly and efficient. I'm always trying to get a good deal, so I love World Market. Their goods are already priced cheaper than their competitors, and it's an even better deal when they have a sale going on and/or an additional percentage off. They use to send out more $10 off $30 coupons in the mail, but now it appears to only be tied to their Explorer program. Since the program is free, I recommend signing up for the perks. Weirdly enough, World Market is my go to store for furniture. I've purchased a coffee table, a shelf, a console, stools, a cart I use for a mini bar, and even a couch from there. Each piece looks high quality, but I paid a fraction of the price that I would at another store. I think the stereotype of products in this store is pretty eclectic/ global, however, you can really find so much more than this aesthetic. They have industrial, mid-century modern, traditional, and modern styled pieces among others. The food and beverage aisles of the store really are filled with imported items from around the world. Some of their items are seasonal, however, so beware that your addiction to green tea KitKats (they sound gross, but are weirdly good) might only be satisfied for so long. Every time I go into this store I find at least one piece I must have from a marble mortar and pestle, to cloth napkins, gold and white taper candlesticks, woven baskets, or an endless supply of $9.99 velvet pillows in multiple shades. read more

With the holidays fast approaching, the allure of Halloween decorations and Christmas ornaments draw me in like a moth to a flame. This store is perfect for anyone who loves to participate in decorative themes, eating, cooking, drinking or interior design. I love that I am greeted by fun jewelry and cool scarves. From there I move on to scented candles, beautiful curtains, comfy wing chairs and silly toys. One of my favorite sections is kitchen wares. Here they have trendy items like a slate cheese board with chalk and beautiful hand painted earthenware. Many of the items in this section remind me of the housewares I've seen at Anthropologie but, less expensive. There are exotic snacks and cookies from the East, British goodies like McVitties, PG Tips and Crunchy's in addition to a plethora of wines from.... hell.... all over. Into beer? You can make your own mix and match 6 pack. I can easily loose an hour strolling the isles, sifting through all of the cool imported merchandise and wishing I had more frequent flyer miles. read more

I agree with Amanda H. World Market is my go to place for Christmas shopping and I invariably walk out with something for me as well. It has a great selection of international foods that are often at much cheaper prices than I find in the international section at the grocery store. Having lived abroad, I find that it pretty much solves all my food cravings and has even introduced me to some new ones. Their wine selection is also good. While it isn't huge, there are some good priced selections that are also really good to drink! One of my favorite alternatives to champagne, Christalino brand Cava (a Spanish sparkling wine) is here and is a reasonable $8-10 a bottle. They also have splits of wine that are great in gift baskets. Also come here for wonderful cooking utensils and kitchen gadgets. read more

A weekend visit to this World Market is always pleasing. I like meandering from the front of the store in the sections with faux painting and art along with wall clocks, through the cards and gift packaging (very nice, very fun stuff here), into rugs and pillows and furniture. That's the right side of the store. Move over to the left side and a world of foods, beers, wines and all things unique to eat, prepare and consume awaits. I found a Chai Tiger Tea powder that, when I got home and made, was delicious. And I made a big cup in one of the oversized stacking cups purchased at World Market. Yes, oversized cups do double duty as soup bowls for my taste. Love 'em. As I am not a wine mover 'n shaker I've never purchased wine here. But the selection seems very good and, except for Trader Jacks in the Easton Shopping Center, I'd say this is as good a place for wine as any. I found a lot of humorous birthday cards, bought one for a friend, and may go back for another run at the foods. Just a lot of fun and shopping delight at World Market. Unique store with a lot of variety to chose from. Love the gourmet food, coffees, chocolates and furnishings. They even have natural and green products at moderate to low prices. Since I am in that moderate to low income group I can afford to shop here. They have some of the same furnishing here you find at high-end stores for a lower price point. I think it is a hidden treasure here in Central Ohio. I would highly recommend this store if you are looking to furnish a home with natural wood, bamboo, and weavings, or just looking for a special gift for someone.
