This place at night is gorgeous and can be seen from pretty far away.

This store was a hidden gem. We were just perusing high street when we happened upon here. They have wonderfully priced pashmina scarves. Their ceramic ware is beautifully painted. What really catches your eye is the lighting. The store is covered in ornate chandeliers that really catch your eye from a distance. This place is great for any gift giving. Everything is absolutely gorgeous and there is something for every price point. From inexpensive pretty magnets for a teacher to handmade leather satchels that can run you up a hundred or two.

I gasped when I walked into this store, I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Everything was so colorful, bright and there was so much to look at. They had everything you could imagine. Lots of jewelry, shoes and household items. Prices seemed really reasonable and the employees were very friendly. Really cool place to check out!

We shop here as often as possible. My sister from FL has me FaceTime her-every single time..to pick out her earrings! I love this shop-it takes me to another place. Your earrings will be the topic of conversation and beautifully unique! The owner is the SWEETEST man. He makes you TURKISH coffee, teas and treats you like you're in his home! Once, made my husband a drink while we shopped! I can't say enough. Just support this establishment and enjoy the cultural beauty.

One of the most unique stores in Columbus, and for that, I throughly enjoy shopping there. They have a large selection of quality handmade shoes/boots, jewelry, bags, clothing and household items made in Turkey. They have new items frequently and the owners are kind and knowledgeable. If you want something different than what you can find in other local stores, it's definitely worth stopping in!

The exotic wares of Asia Minor are found in this Short North stop. It is named after the place where merchants would rest and trade their stuff. The name is apt, as Karavan deals in authentic Turkish inventory. The store is a visual delight and is worth a look through, if not a purchase for those that love the middle eastern flare. Turkey being a crossroads for medieval traders, as well as being a strategic entry port from the Middle East into Europe, is a melting pot if diverse influences ranging from Byzantine flourish, to Persian and Arabic style. Such diversity gives the store an unique position in the market. Stain glass items are plentiful. Lamps and hookahs fill the windowsill. They have large rugs. They have plenty pretty slips that would make a free sprinted woman stand out. They have great jewelry and boxes. All from Turkey. On the downside the prices can be high; you do have the authenticity and of course, that Short North/ High Street tax. I've purchased a tea set here before,a gift, and it is of high quality, sometimes a little mire is worth it.

Unique wares but definitely call ahead before stopping. We came at 7:40 thinking they were open until 9:00 and they were already closed.

There are some amazing vendors that have quality vintage pieces at very affordable prices. You can tell that they take time and care with what they stock and how they set up their displays. I find that my favorite booths get restocked often with an array of new treasures. I've purchased beautiful original art, handmade ceramic pottery, a gorgeous Persian rug and many more one of a kind pieces. This is my go to place whenever I'm looking for unique home decor or a special gift. The off putting.. the staff is usually so helpful and kind but there is one employee (Kerry) that can be outright nasty to customers. I witnessed her make disparaging remarks about another customer. She did this in earshot of my mother and I and then acted like the other customer had personally offended her or done something wrong when they asked for a discount on a damaged item from her booth. She then proceeded to speak to my mother about why her nasty remark was justified. It was gross and I hope that the owner of the store reads this review and is able to address Kerry's nasty attitude. The other complaint is when you see an item with a thrift store price tag right next to the vendors highly inflated price tag. So tacky! I do highly recommend this store but I also hope they can address these issues.

I just purchased a cabinet from them. Cheap, no, but comparable in price to similar items, including from the online sites that don't allow you to touch the item before purchasing. It was exactly what I needed for the space, so splurged a bit. I had a relative meet the delivery team 6 weeks later, and one door on the cabinet wasn't sliding perfectly. He worked on it 30 minutes but ultimately could not get it to be up to the standard of the model in the store. Within one week, they had a replacement delivered. They were very communicative about delivery times and gave a 1 hour window so we didn't spend half a day waiting around. I agree with some other reviewers that the in-store staff aren't overly warm, but I have always been welcomed with a hello and they were more than helpful when I have asked for assistance. I honestly prefer this shopping experience. Most times, I just want to browse on my own and not interact with staff beyond hello/good-bye.

The building is unassuming from the outside, but the inside is filled with anything from ancient church doors to vintage Kotex dispensers. The whole front room is filled with hundreds (even thousands?) of doorknobs, screws, locks, hinges, etc. Bigger furniture pieces are in the maze-like warehouse that lies in the middle of the structure, and there's a salvage yard out back. We saw some truly beautiful pieces and also some unique, more crafty and modern pieces. A word of warning: this is NOT a thrift shop. Though their inventory is very old, it is in good condition and is relatively rare I'd assume, so their pricing is moderate/expensive. I did, however, purchase some glass slides for what I thought was a reasonable price. This is an awesome find in a bustling city like Columbus and I'm so glad it exists. I will definitely be back and would recommend it to people to visit, especially if they're looking for specific pieces for a project or to decorate their home.
