On 7/11/16 I purchased 4 pairs of earrings from associate Laura B, she was very friendly and helpful with locating the perfect earrings. I was there to buy black studs but also found 3 more pairs that I liked and purchased them. When I got home I realized that 2 pairs of the earrings the way they were designed made it very difficult to put on and take off. Today, 7/26/16 (at 3:08), I went in to return the 2 pairs that I had difficulty with, because when I purchased them I was told I could return them within 30 days. This is where my poor rating comes in, I approach the counter and Laura is working again, she greets me and I tell her I have a return, she doesn't ask why or anything and jumps to well our return period is 3 days, our exchange period is 30 days. I explain to her when I purchased them she told me 30 days for returns, at this point she offers me a store credit and I decline, because there really wasn't anything else I was interested in there. She offers me to speak with the district manager, and I accept. Then the district manager comes over and begins to argue with me and insinuate i'm lying and tells me she has to write of Laura, and that I need to be truthful and say something else. After 5 mins of back and forth between myself Laura and the district manager the district manager gives me my refund and tells me this is going to affect Laura when she is up for a raise and she has to be written up, I tell her I feel bad she has to get written up and I don't appreciate her arguing with me and wasting my time, she then says well I would have appreciated it if you were more truthful (I left at 3:15, almost 10 minutes of back and forth all together). read more
