This is one of my favorite stores in Grandview and absolutely recommend. They offer furniture, art, jewellery, antique and vintage pieces, lighting, consignments, and more. Plenty of free parking in the lot and meter street parking on Grandview Ave. Very inviting atmosphere. You can find all kinds of fun stuff here and it is great to just walk around and explore. I always discover a lot of cool and some vintages pieces that sparks nostalgia. Especially the "I remember that style" and it reminds you of a specific time period. Or even better the odd find or "what is that" or "what do you use that for" item? New arrivals all the time and I love to use that as a reason to revisit to see what's new. The price points are of a wide range and there are some really good finds. Some furniture pieces show a markdown schedule and you can keep an eye on it if it is just something you would get if the price is right. You can even browse and make offers on their website at www.grandviewmercantile.com/. I personally prefer the experience of walking through the showrooms and absolutely recommend checking the Grandview Mercantile out. You never know when you will run across or find something you didn't even know you needed!

I love this business and have been going here for years. I've never sold anything through there consignment but have bought some real treasures, from art to large pieces of furniture. Plus it's just fun to browse. Staff have always been really helpful.

Bought a beautiful mid century modern table- perfect size for our home! love going to this store and seeing unique items and furniture.

A mix of consignment and set-price home decor and furniture, this is a great move to this new location for Grandview Mercantile Review (GMR). Definitely more space to move about, and things are not as squished into every nook and cranny. There are some really spiffy furniture options (kitchen tables, lounge chairs, sofas, end caps). Some stuff is ticketed showing the discounted price if the piece is still for sale by the printed date. Yes, as is the case for many consignment stores, you have to keep an eye on the piece you're thinking of buying; if you wait too long, it could get snagged up, while you're enjoying a scoop of Jenny's ice cream down the road. I'm thinking I'll venture back in to take a more proper look at the jewelry section, as my mom loves jewelry, especially of the antique variety. Perhaps I'll be able to snag her birthday present from GMR.

Tucked around the side of Big Lots, this is a furniture/home decor store with a large selection. Also some jewelry, clothes, etc. All sorts of styles for your home decorating needs, lots of paintings, some kitchenware. Big, and packed, but laid out so you can browse easily. Prices seem reasonable. Sweetie will need to come and see what we need, so I'm sure we'll be back.

If you are looking for something other than FURNITURE... disappointment will be the theme. Good location on HIGH ST.

I always drive by those big old rural warehouses that each claim to be the biggest antique dealer in Ohio with X amount of square feet. I go in and find myself sorely disappointed by the junk stored within. Grandview Mercantile is NOTHING like that. Grandview is 8,000 square feet of good stuff. While Grandview is connected to its sister store ReVue, the older sibling's taste lie mainly in antique jewelry and the arts. At Grandview, you'll typically see a middle-aged woman ooo-ing and ahhh-ing at a glass display case full of tarnished jewels while her husband stands by and yawns. Other than jewels and art, Grandview also has great furniture finds, but everything is too expensive for a recent post-grad like me. My momma taught me to look and not touch. You'll find some quirky stuff here, like the giant barbershop head that was displayed in the front - the head was later purchased by Collier West and now accents that storefront window. The best time to go to Grandview is during their red tag sale; prices are marked way down during this event. I think it happens twice a year. If you're an uber antique nerd, check out the website. They interestingly post favorite sold items there; it's like watching antique road show.

I just purchased a cabinet from them. Cheap, no, but comparable in price to similar items, including from the online sites that don't allow you to touch the item before purchasing. It was exactly what I needed for the space, so splurged a bit. I had a relative meet the delivery team 6 weeks later, and one door on the cabinet wasn't sliding perfectly. He worked on it 30 minutes but ultimately could not get it to be up to the standard of the model in the store. Within one week, they had a replacement delivered. They were very communicative about delivery times and gave a 1 hour window so we didn't spend half a day waiting around. I agree with some other reviewers that the in-store staff aren't overly warm, but I have always been welcomed with a hello and they were more than helpful when I have asked for assistance. I honestly prefer this shopping experience. Most times, I just want to browse on my own and not interact with staff beyond hello/good-bye.

Re:Work's commitment to building furniture from reclaimed barns is smack on point! I was introduced to this husband-and-wife-run show at a Yelp event showcasing locally run businesses around central Ohio. They know where to look, who to know, and how to make wonderful furniture. Picture frames, tables, basically, you name it and, if it's feasible, they'll make it! We were able to make a simple, but classy wood plant vase out of their reclaimed barn wood. "Reduce, reuse, recycle" at its finest! I'm excited that they're working on expanding there work space. Having the front-space addition, they're planning to make a "show room"/ come and try/experience their offerings before you chat and decide on a design. Nice!

I was promptly greeted when I came in and was offered some coffee or water. I had to pass as it was a quick stop but I really liked the vide here. The shop had a bit of everything including clothing, candles, jewelry, and all sorts of gifts including some gorgeous drinking glasses. Definitely worth browsing just to check it all out. Overall, it looked like the general price point is on the higher end but nothing too outrageous for a boutique shop. I did find the ornament I saw in the picture but I know my mom already has the same one, or one that could pass off as its twin anyway. So many cute gifts and would totally visit again even though I didn't find something this trip.
