The first time I was here was when I was a toddler in the 90s, and now I'm old enough to see what they have, and yes I've been here a few times. This store has a huge clothing section, and limited selections of pajamas, slippers, undergarments, luggage, bath towels, table cloths, kitchen supplies, and shower curtains. Most of the areas were very organized, but the kitchen supply area was a little messy. But then again, I don't come here for that. So what do I come here for? It depends, but usually it's for pajamas, table cloths, and shower curtains. But I don't get all of them in one visit. Sure, I can get those anywhere, but why here? REALLY LOW PRICES. Other stores would charge higher for these items, including Wal*Mart, but because these are closeouts, you won't expect to spend A LOT on just one item. Regardless of brands and low pricing, I've never had a major issue with anything that I got here. Keep in mind that because this is a closeout store, what they have on the shelves and racks is all they've got. During my recent visit, I needed to see if they had any short-sleeved pajamas as mine were getting close to being worn out. But all I saw were the winter ones, and when I asked to see if they had any, they politely told me that what they receive and stock is all they've got. I was disappointed, but I understood. Maybe they'll have it next time or something. But I didn't walk out empty-handed though. I was able to get a new table cloth at a cool price since my old one was just way too out-dated. Customer service is always fine. Overall it's a really fine store. I will always stop here whenever I'm in the area, particularly when I'm coming back from Ikea or Jersey Gardens Mall via US 1 & 9.

She was in the self checkout area I already thought she was being odd because she stood next to me at one point when I was scanning my items. My godmother and I had one cart and paid separately. I wrong my stuff up paid and ring my godmothers items up and she paid for her stuff. Neither one of us had that many items def under 20 items all together and as we were leaving the woman stops us at the door by her register. She looks at my cart and asks if I have a receipt.... Um yes I just checked out of course I have a receipt. I said we have two receipts. I just hand her the receipt and ask her if something is wrong . She looks at my cart and looks at me then looks back at my cart. I ask her again because she isn't saying anything completely ignores me. She then asks how much meat did I purchase. Now I purchased some and my god mom purchased some she wanted a count I said I don't remember an exact number you have the receipts she had both at this point. We hAve proof of everything in the cart being purchased. After she couldn't "catch us for anything" because we DID NOT STEAL ANYTHING she goes oh here you go hands the receipts back. Then she says you just scanned everything so fast... as if that was an excuse to pull us to the side and question us on the amount of stuff we purchased. SHE DIDNT STOP ANYONE ELSE! This was my first time going to the ShopRite and I already knew it was odd because the seafood sign had a pay before you receive your items sign... I will never be back!

By the time I made it through one section of the store, I was sweating like I had just run a marathon in July. Forget trying on clothes--I was trying to stay conscious. The employees looked just as miserable. The poor guy at the register looked ready to faint barely 20 minutes into his shift. I honestly felt bad for him. To make matters worse, even the manager mentioned how unbearable the heat was and practically begged me to tell someone because the staff is suffering. I don't know if the air conditioning was broken or if there simply isn't any, but something needs to be done. Customers shouldn't need electrolyte drinks and a cooling vest just to browse for socks. Great prices, but the temperature inside felt like Primark: The Oven Edition. Please turn the AC on before someone melts into the floor.

This review is specifically for the juice maker outside. I paid for sugarcane juice inside and…read morewent outside to get my drink. The store had just opened so I was one of the first ones to get their juice. I saw that the man was not wearing gloves but didn't care much at this point since he was just cleaning up from last pour. Next he started the machine to rinse it out with wayer, without wearing gloves. Basically using his bare hands to clean the machine. He proceeded to stick his finger in the spout where the juice comes out from. He started cutting the lime and ginger without his gloves. At this point I lost my appetite because his nails were long and he had accidentally cut part of his nail off, pulled it off and threw it somewhere. I was so grossed out that I walked back in the store and asked for the refund. I let the cashier know what happened and nobody seemed to care. Awfully disappointed and disgusted. It was the perfect gift for a friend. The location that was near me did not have it in stock, so one of the employees there advised me to call up the other surrounding Five Below stores to see if they have it. I saw that the Woodbridge Five Below didn't close until 9:30 pm and called at 8:59 pm. I asked if they had any Linkin Park posters in stock, the woman on the other side said, "I don't know but you can come in the store to see for yourself". I asked if she could go and check for me, she replied saying that she is at the front register and is not able to leave to check for me. I asked to speak to a manager and the woman on the phone said that she was the manager. I then explained to her that I didn't live close to that location and just wanted to make sure the poster was there before I made that drive. She said again she can't leave the front register and there was only one other employee working the floor. So I asked again, if that other employee could just please check if the poster was there. She said "she will try and get the other person on the floor to check". I was then placed on hold and that was the last time I would speak to anyone on that phone call. I was even able to drive all the way to the Woodbridge location and speak to said manager face to face while still being on hold. Unlike 'the manager', I was very polite during the call and respectful even when speaking in person. I walked into the Woodbridge store around 9:15 pm with my phone on speaker with the hold music playing aloud. I walked up to the front register asked for the name of the manager that I spoke to over the phone. She realized I was the person who called about the poster and told me that there were no Linkin Park posters left. After verifying that she is in fact the manager and that there were no posters like she said, I thanked her and told her to have a good night. Even as I left the store, I was still on hold!! The call lasted from 8:59 pm to 9:49 pm, 58 mins. Let's not forget that they close at 9:30 pm. I really can't understand why I was met with such a nasty attitude when this all could've been avoided if she took 30 seconds to check if one poster was in stock at her store. Maybe someone with that demeanor isn't suited to be the manager.

There were a few people working the floor. They had a nice selection of Easter items (perfect for my students) and many different candies. Was able to get a good haul! They did convert to self check out. All in all a nice five below!
