Very disappointed and frustrated. I bought my daughter some pants, and I knew that it is only cash…read moreonly when the purchase is under $5 so I told the lady at the register that I will quickly look for change in my car. It was first thing in the morning and I was the first person in. I came back in and said I don't have change so I will quickly look for an item so I can use my debit. She asked me how long I was going to be because "we" are holding up the line now. I told her to go ahead and cancel my transaction and let her go next. She said she is not "allowed" and will need to wait for me to shop before she can move on to the next. She asked me how long it take for me to shop. I told her to to forget about it and left. I will not be shopping here anymore. This interaction made me feel that the stores procedures my fault and my responsibility. Also I'm sure she can cancel transactions as she would need to do so given I chose to leave the store in order to make any other future transactions. This store has not been welcoming for awhile. You have to put your drinks up at the front as if the store is a high-end brick and mortar. This is a thrift store.

Even though this store has changed ALOT over the years since I last lived in Leduc I will still pop…read morein the odd time when I am in town and visiting my mother. Some of the changes have been positive and other leave a lot to be desired. They made the move several years back next to the Tim Horton's and Sobeys which has helped a lot with the parking issues they had over at their prior location. (not enough stalls and getting stuck in snowdrifts in winter) The larger location has also allowed them the ability to take in more donations making it so there is more items to go through when you are in the store "treasure hunting". The biggest issue they have right now is also alienating them a lot from the community. In the last few years the prices have gone up almost double on some items and whoever prices their brand name clothes has no idea what they are doing. Yes I am more then happy to pay a little more for a Roxy hoodie but not when the decal on the front is worn and the string is missing. With the recent improvements made by their competitor Salvation Army I am really not sure how much longer these folks are going to be around. I usually stop in once a month and sometimes when I go I will see the same items for sale that I saw the month prior....definitely not a good sign.

I love this Sobeys! They make really great deserts, Nom-Nom!…read moreThis location is hardly ever super busy like other grocery stores can get. It's got 4 "self checkout" stands, for anyone who wants to come in and out fast. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and I've never had any issues with them. Last week I bought more groceries then I originally thought I would be getting. I had my arms full and one of their young male employees came up to me and asked if he could help me to my car. I rarely ask for help, but he saw I was struggling and took it upon himself to help. He wasn't a cashier, bagger or anything, he worked in the produce area. So he didn't have to help me out at all, but he did. Huge props to that man! I haven't noticed their prices are any different than in any other grocery stores. I've never had any problems with their food, and love the premade items! They're perfect for quickly grabbing a healthy lunch/dinner meal. I know one of my friends appreciates the large gluten-free selection. So before she comes over for a visit, I always go to Sobeys to grab some things she can eat.

I've had some issues. First, the prices seem higher than the Millwoods Sobeys…read more I picked up a salad for lunch a while ago from this location, I was surprised to find half the egg still had she'll on it.. Nasty surprise. The prepared fruit trays/packs is great but trust me- wash it thoroughly when you get home!!! I've found bugs several times, pretty sure they are not cleaned prior to packing. I do like their natural aisle, organic and gluten free options and the sushi bar

Sitting around bored at home and decided to finally pick up Witcher 3. Checked Facebook marketplace…read morefor some used ones - no dice. Checked Kijiji and nada. Checked eBay and the prices + shipping seemed really high. Teleported back to 2018. Checked Bestbuy online and the price was $60. Hmmm... seems high for a game that came out 3 years ago. Checked EB games online and the price was $40 for a recycled copy - so I figured why not? I called the Leduc store to see if they had a recycled copy on-hand. Spoke to Chad and Chad was all like "bro, just cop the new copy it's actually $30 right now fam!"(conversation probably not verbatim) - due to some Sony promotion. I live in SW Edmonton, so Bestbuy is actually a lot closer - thought I'd just drive there instead. I called Bestbuy to see if they 1) had the game and 2) were also offering it for $30. Have you ever tried calling a Bestbuy store for help? Try it - I'll wait. GOOD LUCK. Anyway, drove down to Leduc and picked up my game! This is the 3rd or 4th game I've bought from here in the last few months and the service is always consistent and the staff are really helpful! AND you can actually call the store and have someone answer and answer your questions, put stuff on hold, etc. Shout out to Chad!

They have a good selection of games and decent prices, but there is two issues. One, the customer…read moreservice isn't great and when I went, they were a bit on the rude side. Second, their trades are insane. If they give you 50 cents for a game, they sell it for 15 or 20 dollars. Overall, it is an average EB games, with decent selection and prices, but their customer service and trade-in system need a few tweaks.
