I went here to pick up some shampoo, a prescription and get a flu shot. First off the store is called "Rexal Drugs" so you would think they'd have a fairly decent sized pharmacy. I was surprised to find a very tiny one in the back of the store. They had one pharmacist working and one pharmacy student working, so 2 total staff. There was 8 people waiting for their medications, 2 (including me) for flu shots and one person wanted advice on cough syrup. I ended up waiting 45 minutes for my flu shot. The pharmacist not once apologize to anyone for the long wait, and seemed to move as slow as molasses. You could clearly tell they were working for an hourly wage! I don't think I'll ever comeback here again, unless I see there's a sale on makeup or something. I wouldn't recommend this store at all. Aside from the pharmacy, the food and snack are WAY overpriced. $2.60 for a 591ml bottle of Coke Cola?!? Geeeez!

It's got 4 "self checkout" stands, for anyone who wants to come in and out fast. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and I've never had any issues with them. Last week I bought more groceries then I originally thought I would be getting. I had my arms full and one of their young male employees came up to me and asked if he could help me to my car. I rarely ask for help, but he saw I was struggling and took it upon himself to help. He wasn't a cashier, bagger or anything, he worked in the produce area. So he didn't have to help me out at all, but he did. Huge props to that man! I haven't noticed their prices are any different than in any other grocery stores. I've never had any problems with their food, and love the premade items! They're perfect for quickly grabbing a healthy lunch/dinner meal. I know one of my friends appreciates the large gluten-free selection. So before she comes over for a visit, I always go to Sobeys to grab some things she can eat.

A play area for your children and they provide gummy snacks for them too while you wait. The prices are always lower than anywhere else. They fill your prescriptions very quickly and you can call them in too!
