The owner told me she made them from recycled cabinets- so creative! The store has a huge mystery, horror, and romance sections. There are some smaller self-help, history, sports, and biography sections. There is also a great clearance section with some blind reads near the front door. I also recommend you checkout the selections of bookmarks and stickers near the cashier. The bookmarks are made by local artists. The Book Store is a must visit for book lovers in the area and there are lots of cool eateries and pubs nearby too.

When I went in they explained to me how a normal sized mylar is $3 and anything bigger they just take the normal sized and multiple the size until they get the size of the larger one, thus getting the price they use for the larger balloons. The employees at Balloon Magic have a great sense of humor and are very insightful about color, quality, and more. They were very helpful and their balloons lasted 2X as long as the ones I usually got from Party City. Also $1 9" helium filled balloons? What a good deal! If you're considering coming here just buy from their stock it's the same price as bring your own and most definitely better quality!

Imagine my surprise when I got the pathetic little "arch" pictured. The owner, Elizabeth, told me that the arch would sit on a table, go to the ceiling and naturally curve on to the ceiling. I paid a $10 delivery fee because I didn't think it would fit in my vehicle (spoiler alert: it would) and she told me she would drop it off herself and get it set up. A man showed up at the venue, handed it to me and said, "I believe you're waiting for this," and walked out. I emailed a pic of what I ordered and what I got to the owner yesterday. My refund? $13. Wow. She then called me up apologizing and giving me every excuse in the book (including COVID has really been a struggle for them - who hasn't it been a struggle for?) and apologizing that I wasn't happy and didn't understand why I was unhappy because I got exactly what I ordered. I also asked why I got charge $90 and it was an additional $10 for delivery and an additional $5 because I wanted it between 10-11!!! I was never told of the additional $5 charge and don't feel the time frame necessitated it. Another interesting fact - the pics of the balloon arch I ordered were immediately removed from their website and replaced with another, smaller arch for $90!!! Tells me the owner knew I did NOT get what I ordered. Reading the other reviews out here - I agree. These people will price gouge you to get as much out of you as they can. It's a shame.

We pulled over and called Costco to make sure they had my phone. They did not but went into the bathroom and found it for me. So, we turned around and retrieved it then headed for the 2.5 hr drive home. I really appreciated the customer service. They had a lot of sample tables going on this time of the day. We had lunch before we came to the store so was too full to try the samples. I love Costcos and great customer service is a part of enjoying the stores along with feeling I am getting great prices and quality. I love that they are getting more and more gluten free foods too.
