At the same time, a volunteer wanted to get into that very small corner. No excuse me, just a loud sigh & dirty look!! The ladies checking out were so busy gossiping about another volunteer that they could not say hello or thank you or even acknowledge I was there!! Great display of your Christian values!! The owner told me she made them from recycled cabinets- so creative! The store has a huge mystery, horror, and romance sections. There are some smaller self-help, history, sports, and biography sections. There is also a great clearance section with some blind reads near the front door. I also recommend you checkout the selections of bookmarks and stickers near the cashier. The bookmarks are made by local artists. The Book Store is a must visit for book lovers in the area and there are lots of cool eateries and pubs nearby too.

I ordered a…read moreDemi arch from them for a baby shower for $72 (and was charged $90, more on that later) thinking I would be getting something similar to what was pictured on their website. Imagine my surprise when I got the pathetic little "arch" pictured. The owner, Elizabeth, told me that the arch would sit on a table, go to the ceiling and naturally curve on to the ceiling. I paid a $10 delivery fee because I didn't think it would fit in my vehicle (spoiler alert: it would) and she told me she would drop it off herself and get it set up. A man showed up at the venue, handed it to me and said, "I believe you're waiting for this," and walked out. I emailed a pic of what I ordered and what I got to the owner yesterday. My refund? $13. Wow. She then called me up apologizing and giving me every excuse in the book (including COVID has really been a struggle for them - who hasn't it been a struggle for?) and apologizing that I wasn't happy and didn't understand why I was unhappy because I got exactly what I ordered. I also asked why I got charge $90 and it was an additional $10 for delivery and an additional $5 because I wanted it between 10-11!!! I was never told of the additional $5 charge and don't feel the time frame necessitated it. Another interesting fact - the pics of the balloon arch I ordered were immediately removed from their website and replaced with another, smaller arch for $90!!! Tells me the owner knew I did NOT get what I ordered. Reading the other reviews out here - I agree. These people will price gouge you to get as much out of you as they can. It's a shame.
