Went to this store today for a bag of coffee. Walk in and throughout the store shelfs darn near bare. Found a seinor lady scanning codes, stop and asked her if she could look in the back to see if any coffee bags are back there. I was told this " I'm sure there is but I don't have time to go and look" I said to her "wow , you don't have the time to go look" then she turned around and started scanning. People like this should not be in front of the customer. This is absolutely horrible customer service. Then I told the cashier , again a Senior, what happened he had the same attitude. Both of these people should not be customer facing employers. Obviously your there working because you can't afford not too!! Try helping your customer putting them first, how about that.. This store needs to hire 1 or 2 people to keep the shelves stocked , especially during the weekend. The store manager needs to recognize this store is losing more than 12 to 15 dollars and hour to hire a stocker specifically to stock shelves all day. Wake up store manager. read more

Dollar Tree in Apache Junction which is just east of Mesa. The store is clean and well stocked. I found everything I wanted but the peanut bags were smaller than other stores. There is a nice variety of product. Prices are up to $1.25 minimum but still an excellent value. Recommended value shopping. read more

Wonderful Christmas attitude. The dollar amount was $12.11. I guess I was a little too late in getting her the 11 cents because she refused to take it he just looked at me and said her door was closed. I explained I did not want the extra change could she just give me the dollar. She adamantly refused. I take it these people don't know how to count back change? Management should teach their employees a bit more customer service! She could've been kind enough to say just give me a minute while I help this person. What goes around comes around. read more

The older woman, 'caucasian' cashier is racist. It's like she doesn't even want you to spend your money there. Kris the manager or old manager, she was also racist against minorities and I had to call corporate on her about an exchange. Corporate supervisor is extremely nice & definitely treats people the way they want to be treated & should be treated. Take your business elsewhere because this Dollar Tree isn't worth it. I use to do laundry next door and this Dollar Tree wouldn't even exchange a dollar for 4 quarters, with buying something. read more

I just wouldn't get a job at this store. I know a few people who worked here and recently left because of the manager, Eric. He seems to be on a high horse or something. He treats employees like garbage, makes them do the jobs of other employees that are lazy, gaslights anyone that tries to voice their opinion and threatens their job. They all made complaints to corporate, but obviously, nothing got done since the guy is still there. **Most of the employees are great. There have been a few with major attitudes, but the good ones outweigh the bad apples. read more

Never again will I go into dollar tree in Apache Junction, AZ I was in that strip mall on Sept 3rd 2022 and had a IBS emergency, went in, nobody in line and told to lady cashier I had an emergency and had to use bathroom immediately, which she said that there is no public bathroom available. I said I will buy something and I got the same answer. I asked for supervisor, whom she paged and got there pretty quick. I told her again of my situation, which she said I should go to the Jack in the Box, to use their bathroom, which is over a block away. This was about 09:30 in the morning, my stomach would not make it. I've had accidents in the past. I even said I have Crohn's disease, and have a e-card in my Iphone that says I require a bathroom. I said I'll but things when I'm done, as I was, I'm sorry to be cruel, about to poop in my pants. Sorry, no public bathroom here. Thanks for nothing. Raise your prices, ok, I get that, supply chain issues, but no public bathroom? I used to love going to Dollar Tree. I don't know if you are individually owned or what. I'm disabled senior citizen. you should be very ashamed of yourselves. I tried called customer service several times to no avail waiting to talk to someone as I also have mental issues. I eventually left a message of exactly what happened and guess what. NO RETURN CALL. A month later I tried twitter. I don't understand it but a have a account, I put @DollarTree which showed up and also left the same message. And guess what? They never answered. I hope someone sues you for not using your brains and seeing a desperate disabled senior citizen almost in tears and you tell him, me, to go walk a block or more, and who knows if 1) They have a bathroom, or 2) if I can use it or 3) if it's in use or out of order. I surely hope somebody reads this with authority, and make sure this never happens again. read more

I would give -5 if I could. My mother went to Dollar Tree in Apache Junction a couple weeks ago. She bought 3 items, a birthday card, tissue, and wrapping paper. The next day she went to purchase something elsewhere and her card was declined for insufficient funds. Come to find out the receipt she was given was not even the items she purchased and the total that she was charged was $53.74 because she was charged for a $50 cash back transaction as well. She didn't get cash back. We called the store and we were spoken to rudely at best and told to take it up with the bank. We did and were refunded the $50. Well dollar tree disputed the refund so my bank charged me again. The bank will be another review. The cashier at Dollar tree is making bank apparently by stealing from customers while my mom gets screwed. Nobody is backing her up. This isn't finished. We spoke with the manager finally and he is supposed to be having district manager call us. So sorry this might not make perfect sense but hopefully you get the gist of it. We're just angry right now!! read more
