From the owner: Price Drop llc is the only store in Anderson ca that everything starts at $9.00 and drops $2.00…read moreeveryday until its sold or hits the $3.00 mark on Sundays and Mondays. Then we start all over with new products on Thursdays. Inventory changes every week what we have and which major retailer it comes from online and store fronts. Each week we have something for everyone and at prices anyone can afford, and we don't mean last seasons trends. Its common place for our customers to be shocked when they find an item at Price Drop that they have been really wanting to buy either from the online retail giant or brick and mortar mogals but haven't been able to justify the splurge of $40- $80. in this economy for something that is not a necessity. They are thrilled to find out that we have it and depending on the day of the week and not the retail price of the item it ranges from $9-$3 dollars. We are a local family owned retail store they really wants to be known as the best deal in town. So we work really hard to source the best products and selection at the very best prices. So we can pass the saving on to the consumer we eliminate the typical labor cost associated with processing new inventory and displaying it on shelfs in stead we toss most of it all into bins and everything is priced the same excluding the high roller racks and items which are priced at 50% or below MSRP.

Jolly Giant Flea Mart - Who runs Barter-Town?

I know a lot of sellers who will travel to Yuba city or Roseville flea markets to sell and here is…read morewhy: This weekend "Flea Market" has seen better days. it is one of only two "Flea Markets" in Redding or within 100 ++ miles or so. Jolly Giant pretty much died over a decade ago. The owners are more interested in their leasing parking spaces and warehouse space to trucks and who knows what, and their can and bottle recycling business. A truck "accidentally" crashed and bent the rear gate that allowed access to the rear dock, a long time ago but this gate has been broken for years now. guess they took the insurance money and spent it on other things. beer can baskets, broken bottles all over the place blocking any hope of parking near a selling space on the rear dock. Trucks and can bundles block the entire area. If you plan on coming out here to sell some of your items I would say forget about it. You can't even get to the back dock anymore without having to park some distance and lug everything you want to sell across their lot and then to a table. by the end of a crappy day, who feels like lugging all of your unsold stuff back to your vehicle. After spending $10.00 per table to try and sell your stuff that you could not even give away to the cheap people who spend the day here just looking, you most likely will find out this was not worth your time and labor. Have a garage sale or donate your stuff. Trust me it will make your life a lot less complicated and frustrating plus you will come out money ahead. The dozen or so regular peddlers have the selling spaces on the front dock monopolized and it's the only place where you can actually pull up and unload. The few shoppers who get their socializing for the week, visit this place to catch up their friends on their B.S. of the day and the unwary passers by who see this market from the highway and think it"s a real flea market, find out fast, or already know that the chance of finding the good stuff (not likely) and any new non regular sellers will be out on the rear dock. LOL If you like seeing the same over priced junk from the same ancient sellers week after week, month after month and year after year, then this is the place for you. Shame that flea markets are so big everywhere else but the people who get the permission from the city to even have a flea market couldn't care less. The other market, which I will be doing a review update on, is worse and only active on Sunday.

You wouldn't think a bargain discount grocery store would even sell Wagyu beef. My Grocery Outlet in Red Bluff is on the south end of town and since I was headed north to Redding, this location in Anderson about half way to Redding was a better choice. The GPS got me here just fine. It's right off the 5 freeway so easy freeway access. Take the Factory Outlet exit from the south, go thru the roundie boutie thingy and go under the freeway. It's on the left. The store is big and clean and seemed well organized. It was easy to find the meat area. I found they also have Kobe beef hamburger meat as well as the Wagyu I was looking for. The price was about half what fancy grocery stores or meat stores are selling ground Wagyu beef for. Checking the expiration dates, it was still good for 2 weeks, so that's all good. Check out was easy, they take all the normal credit cards. When I got to my friends place, we only used the Wagyu pack and made two 1/2 pound burgers out of the 1 pound pack. He grilled them on his gas grill and wow, I gotta say, I never had a Wagyu burger before, and this was just about the tastiest burger I ever had! I mean the meat was very beefy and charred perfect on the grill. The package didn't say what the meat to fat ration was, but it seemed about 20% fat to 80% meat, which is the best for making burgers. I'm sold on this meat for the low price, I'm stopping back and getting more and freeze some for later.
