Somewhat limited selection compared to other stores. Got in and out rapidly with most of what I wanted. Can't beat the price.

Love attending these kids resale events! Easily the best…read morechildren's resale in Dallas! There is a spring and a fall sale every year! Easily the cleanest, stain free, trendiest kids resale in Dallas. I'm not sure why they don't extend to Austin and Dallas. No cover charge but there are some rules to attending. Other sales permit obviously stained items, it is Rare to find a stained item at this sale. If you do, hand it to an employee or drop it in the basket and they remove it. Checkout is easy, you do get a bit of a discount if you pay cash. Check the website for the size of wagon you can bring, they sell IKEA style bags, and to see which days kids are permitted, which days are 50% and 75%!

Something great: sorting tables with go back racks and bins. I love this idea and makes it so…read morepeople aren't putting things on the floor and then leaving them in the incorrect location when they decide to not keep it. Now for the negative as a shopper: no shopping bags unless you purchase them. I was shocked by this. You'd think they want people to gather as much as they can fit! The large ikea bags aren't that expensive ($1 each), and considering how much money they are making this could make them a lot more! Also, no bag to have your purchased items in. This makes it easy to leave when you may not have paid for something that you put in your stroller. Theft is easy here. Now for the negative as a consigner: There is no inspection of your items when you arrive. You walk in and place your items. Then they inspect and pull your items from the floor if they don't meet quality standards AFTER you've left the building. This leads to a lot of people selling dirty items because they know the inspection process is lax. This also lead to me placing sandals on the tables and just before being done, someone happened to see what I was placing and let me know sandals are seasonal and they would be pulled off the floor. So I went back to collect the other sandals and ended up not remembering one. So now I walk out with my items and they have no idea if I picked up my own items to leave or someone elses. Again, theft option. Also, I had shoes in boxes. There is nothing on the consignor detail pages that say no shoe boxes under the shoe section. Since that was all I was consigning, that is where I looked prior to bringing my items and placing them on the floor. Again, no inspection at drop off, so had no other way of knowing a detail that is NOT on their website. I went to pick up my unsold items and they threw away my boxes! I understand keeping them behind a desk, or calling the seller, but then the owners daughter (who will be taking over the business) said it was on the website. I didn't have it pulled up at that time to say, "No, it's not!" And there was nothing I could do about it since they are long gone in the garbage. There should be an option for sellers to sell at the 50% off, but not the 75% off. I didn't mark anything discount because of this. I spent my shift sorting and organizing girl shoes the entire night and one of my pairs of shoes was not sold and not on the floor. They were in my pile when I went to pick up and they would have sold if they were on the floor. I have no idea where they were the night before. They were priced cheap and almost new. Last, and every consignor should be upset about this... I worked a shift and got to shop beforehand for an hour. I found great items (although a lot stained/faded/etc that I didn't purchase.) During the sale time I handled go-backs for clothing and saw some other things that I wished I had picked up. In the last hour when there were only about 8 shoppers left, I asked the owners son-in-law (who will be taking over this business with his wife at some point) if I could get more items and check out. He said no and that I could come back the next morning (a Tuesday - work day) if I wanted to buy more because I'm on shift until closing. We literally stood around waiting for the last shopper to check out before they would let 20 volunteers leave. I could have purchased 10-20 more items which is money for the consignors at 50% off, but was told to come back on 75% off day (which I couldn't) and then most items I wanted were going to donation, so no sale for consignor or company owner!!!! What's the point of that? Did they think I was stashing items? Y'all should have seen the thousands of items going to donation the following day! :( That is not a business owner mentality, it's a worker mentality and they should not be running a business. I was shocked to see the Consignment Mommies award this consignment shop won last year! Just shocked!
