Phil has given me some excellent guidance, and I love coming by anytime I'm in the area.

The signs on the store and multiple websites state that the store's hours are 9:30 to 5 Mon-Sat. I came by a few months ago around 4 store closed up lights off everyone gone home no sign on door indicating why they closed early. Today on my attempt to shop here I pulled up saw a closed sign and and 3 employees staring out the window at me like I was cuckoo for trying to shop at 4:00. Frustrated, I emailed to the address on their website indicated for feedback to see if they actually stayed open until 5. I received a quick but terse response from the general manager stating that they closed early for "inclement weather" for the safety of the employees and that it had never happened before today without advance notice. First, what they called "inclement weather" I call rain. Traffic was abundant and none of the surrounding businesses were closing early. Secondly, yes it has happened before and stating that it isn't so is an implication that I'm telling a lie. Not a very nice way to treat a potential customer who rarely gets to shop during the bankers hours that this business keeps. If I were a vendor I'd certainly be asking myself if this business is even keeping the paltry hours that they are supposedly open. Or do they just shut it down every time it rains, the wind blows or a bird poops on their windshield? If you're a vendor here and not selling much it may just be because we can't buy your goods through a locked door I do try to support small business but those that keep hours that are unfriendly to folks who work for a living and in essence call me a liar are doing their best to keep myself and other shoppers out. I'll take the hint. Will I try it again? Nope.

Although not everything in this mall is old - or considered an antique, 90% of the items found in the different dealer booths ARE antique or vintage. The mall is very, very attractive and there are beautiful antiques, dating from the 1930's back to the mid 1800's. It is beautifully decorated - you can see that each of the dealers in this mall take pride in their areas and in the merchandise they offer for sale. It was a delightful experience. You were made to feel welcome from the moment you walked in the front doors - without being dogged by those who worked there. Yet, those who work there are more than helpful - knowledgable about what they are selling - and more than willing to call the owners for more information on an item if needed. I rate this a first class antique mall!

That will serve them well. They are brewing Starbucks, so it's the closest outlet to Cloverdale, I believe. They have a lot of space dedicated to Huntington apparel and gifts. They could really class the place up with Auburn gear. (Kidding- They are owned by Huntington University). They have a drive-through, a reading nook, etc. It's a fully restored cottage in the historic district. Very bright and clean. I'll be back!

I was very impressed with the shop clerk. She was friendly, no pressure and tuned in... keeping the tunes flowing in the store by regularly changing the vinyl. The whole vibe is very hip yet welcoming.... so much so that I didn't feel self conscious buying a 1967 album by The Cowsills. I'll be back.

Store owner has taken a lot of time setting the store up in a very user friendly way and was very personable while we were there shopping. Nice selection of women's clothing and jewelry. Also have some pretty cool candles that have the wood wicks. Prices are good and they do have a fitting room, so you can try stuff on and see how it fits. My wife found a couple things and was really pleased with her purchase and the shopping experience here. We would check them out if we return to the area and would recommend them to others.
