After months of careful research and considering many options in selling my collection of silver age comics, there was only one I placed my trust in - Quality Comix (QC). Give QC a chance to prove they value you and your collection equally. I did, and would do again without reservation. Prior to talking to Lee Daniels of QC, my mind was locked that: (1) It's crazy to sell and ship comics worth tens of thousands of dollars to Alabama from California to an unknown company. (2) Selling through a local comic book store, or over eBay myself is more profitable, and safer, than using an internet bulk buyer. I was WRONG on BOTH COUNTS. Lee addressed point blank all my concerns and really listened to my issues in a genuine, professional, knowledgeable, courteous, patient, mentoring, and consultative manner. QC checked off all the boxes ... A+ Better Business Bureau rating. A near perfect five star google rating with 369+ reviews. A huge veteran run retail presence. But equally important to me is working with a trusted person, and how easy is it to do business. Lee, and QC are one in the same. Our deal was seamless and he gave me a very fair market valuation to turn comics into cash.

We…read morestopped in passing through town and the owner was literally the nicest I've met in any comic book store. Very informative about current runs on issues and makes you feel very welcome. This is the kind of comic store we need more of - the kind you're not scared to take a kid into. Will definitely be back to continue the stuff he got us started on.

But after has continued screw-ups that were always someone else's fault, and he's argumentative attitude, I went to him and said, Pat, I come to you because you are local and I've been coming here since 1977, and I don't mind spending more to give back to my community and I thought freind. I told him that I could buy from Midtown Comics in NY, have them pull my comics and get free shipping if I did the once a month shipping, with no taxes, and save 10% to 35% off a comic. Mind you I'm spending $250 to over $400+ a month with him at this time. He looked at me and said " You would be a fool not to buy from them"! I was dumbfounded!! But one thing I'm not is a fool especially when you show me how much you appreciate my business! So I started using Midtown for all my comic needs. Also he's a very smug person that's always complaining about something. And he's the type person that always has the right answer, and theirs no grey area or that he could be wrong. Definitely a personality disorder. I would never give him any of my business. Go to midtown or the new comic shop in town called Sentinel Comics!

*sighs* So it's a redesign huh. I went here today to get some socks. Where the heck are the socks?…read more Everything is different. I had to ask a employee. She was friendly and showed me where they are now by the shirts. She said it wasn't by their choice. I say stores need to realize we don't like when they do this. We know where everything is and We dont like wasting time trying to find it. The socks were thrown willy nilly and they didn't have as many as they used to have. I was looking for a book and of course they didn't have it. I did buy the book online * sighs again* Why do I even go in stores now ? I mean heck at least my book will b in a box right. Would it kill you to give someone a bag . I can see now that I will b going less here than I was already. I much prefer going to the other bookstore at the Summit . You were just closer and had socks . Too bad ...Now you dont even have many of those. Very disappointing. Ah well online gets my money again.

If you are looking for games, something for a comic fan, seasonal stuff, things related to newest movies and tv shows, etc there is a good chance Books-A-Million will have something for you. Prices are typically pretty good and it seems like they are always running sales and promotions. If I'm in the area I won't hesitate to come by this store and would highly recommend to others.
