I was a customer since Pat Robinson first opened in the mid 1970's. At one point I was on a pull…read morelist and spending $100 plus a week with him. But after has continued screw-ups that were always someone else's fault, and he's argumentative attitude, I went to him and said, Pat, I come to you because you are local and I've been coming here since 1977, and I don't mind spending more to give back to my community and I thought freind. I told him that I could buy from Midtown Comics in NY, have them pull my comics and get free shipping if I did the once a month shipping, with no taxes, and save 10% to 35% off a comic. Mind you I'm spending $250 to over $400+ a month with him at this time. He looked at me and said " You would be a fool not to buy from them"! I was dumbfounded!! But one thing I'm not is a fool especially when you show me how much you appreciate my business! So I started using Midtown for all my comic needs. Also he's a very smug person that's always complaining about something. And he's the type person that always has the right answer, and theirs no grey area or that he could be wrong. Definitely a personality disorder. I would never give him any of my business. Go to midtown or the new comic shop in town called Sentinel Comics!

This place has gone over quite the transformation in the year plus with the new owners. The new…read moreguys (sorry, I do but know their names) are very tech savvy and have made the place much more kid friendly. My girls still call it "Bungee's", but they love the new lay out. They have their section they hang out in while I get what I need. I like the fact all the new comics are now on one of two displays so you can grab them real quick if you only have a minute.

I was the only…read moreperson in the store, and got to chat quite a bit with the owner, who was very friendly and helpful. Didn't try to push anything on me, just chatted about new books. The store itself was clean, not a stereotypical LCS with a musty smell. Yes there were piles of HCs and TPBs, but nothing was dusty. All the new releases were marked on the shelves. Easy store to navigate, had a ton of HCs and TPBs on shelves, some nice older stuff I hadn't seen in a while. Great store, would be my regular LCS if I were closer.

This is a great shop…read more Being new to the area, I didn't know what to expect. Wanting to find a new comic book/toy shop, I was hopeful and man, this place did not disappoint. This place has everything. The comic selection is vast and the prices vary: they have a $2 selection, $5 selection and of course more expensive comics. Everything is nearly organized and at times overwhelming because there is truly such a large section that you could thumb through these for hours. The toys! Wow, so many i haven't seen in years or ever. I did find some of the pricing to be a little steep, but i suppose its supply and demand. Everything again was nearly organized and structured by specific genre, group. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly. They were super knowledgeable and just plain ol' nice. I can't wait to make this my regular comic book shop in the future. I spent a bunch of money and I'm sure I'll spend a bunch more.

I don't live in GA anymore so my usual monthly collection shopping halted. Used to go often when I lived near this shop. I'm glad to see this place going strong. Dave himself usually is in store or traveling for trade shows. He has a classic slick back hair style, can't miss him. Really cool guy and versed in comic pop culture from toy collectibles to golden/silver age comics. I am an avid golden/silver age collector. The prices are worth shopping here due to convince. The store always changes and usually everything in alphabetical order. You'll most likely find what you're searching for fast. If not the store associates or Dave himself will definitely assist you. Reasonably priced, especially since you can't find most items in major retail anymore or even online. If the product isn't available, Dave usually can get what you're looking for under a month. I don't know how he does it, but he puts Ny comic shops to shame. I'd find more of my collections at Dave's than any comic store in NY. Ironic since comics were heavily produced there. All and all, you can only access this location via car. I recommend Uber from a transit drop off point if commuting from metro Atlanta. It's worth bringing $20-100 to shop for particular comic magazines. He still does $.50-2 deals for back issues. I hope this shop continues because he always have or can get what you're interested in.
