I usually enjoy this place, but my recent experience with the older man behind the counter was frustrating. I ordered a frappe with oat milk, and when I asked for oat milk, he responded, "that's going to take longer to make." I get this drink often, and it doesn't take that long--it felt like he just didn't want to take the extra time. He also didn't ask if I wanted whipped cream, and I ended up with it anyway. Since I ordered oat milk, it would've been nice if he had checked, considering it's a non-dairy option. read more

The woman at the front who was working at the cash register it was very rude. When I asked another employee what was her problem he said that they had a bunch of people call out today. No matter what's going on, that should not be a reason to be rude to customers and have them try to tiptoe around your feelings. Life happens but you shouldn't let other people pick up on your nasty attitude. Besides that I love the store and I come all the time. read more

It's a standard books a million. Little coffee shop in the corner, cute top seller displays, gifts and toys, shrine to all things Harry Potter (like seriously all books-a-millions have a Harry Potter shrine. . .you know it's true). They only lose out when the bathroom isn't clean or they don't carry a title in store. If you want popular titles this is the place. I love it when they have special events. And even though it's not that great for local comic book stores, they also sell popular trade paperbacks, manga, and comics. I kinda wish they would stop selling toys though. Ok that's mainly a ME problem. The look of heartbreak on my kid's face every time I say "no, we're here for books". read more

Went the day after Christmas and it was obvious they were having issues at the register. I spent $88 on me and my daughter, who was in town for the holidays, the girl was rude and swore she didn't charge my card twice. She did and I had to go thru corporate customer service to get it credited. The customer service person was very apologetic, but that girl at the registers was not. More training is definitely needed during peek times. read more

Its great to see that there are still book stores out there. The inside is very similar in setup to a Barnes and Nobles. They had plenty of books everywhere that it was almost too packed full of books. read more

The book selection is fine, but when you checkout they will share your credit card info to a magazine subscription service. After you've already paid, they let you know that you're eligible for a two month trial of three different magazines. You pick the magazines and then they tell you that you'll have to call and cancel your subscriptions after two months because otherwise you'll be charged. I was never asked if I wanted to sign up for this or if I wanted my credit card information to be shared. Now I have to remember to call this company to cancel a subscription that I would have declined in the first place had I been offered the opportunity. Buyer beware! read more

Unhelpful staff, books in their records yet not on the shelf, non-alphabetical shelves, and miss-filed genres make this the worst book store I have ever visited. After asking to see a manager I waited 10 minutes then left...without seeing the manager. read more

Never been in Books A Million. Prices good, service excellent. Just as good as my favorite Barnes and Noble.
