Or insist on someone helping you place an order, but mostly they thrive on their design consult. It's really remarkable and offensive. Here's an example tat any working parent can relate too, On days I'm working were generally dressed well, I certainly get a very different reaction and treatment HERE, vs. When I'm running errands in a track suit hair up in a messy bun it u set a hat , with my children. I specifically came inn today for. $$2,6k over sized acrylic and glass coffee table, as well as a $3k chandelier for our foyer, however... due to the reaction and all those free /unoccupied employees walking past me, on the floor and in the back in the dales area, next to their office. Let's start with the customer service: Vanette is the most friendly, down to earth, and amazing sales associate I have spoken to in a long time. As another retail employee, I model my service on hers. I spent probably 15-20 minutes just chatting with her - she didn't make me feel pressured or unwelcome in any way, which is much appreciated (and to be honest, can be rare nowadays). I appreciate the good customer service. I am more of a mid century modern guy while this collection is very contemporary. However, I still like a lot of their things personally (huge, gorgeous live edge acacia dining table made me wish I had a bigger apartment). TL;DR: this store has out of this world customer service and a very nice collection. Vanette really deserves to be recognized as she is outstanding.

Was greeted by a friendly gent upon entering and they have a small change area for you to use right behind the counter if required. He asked me if I wanted the hem length to break (slightly longer with a small crease in the pants) or just straight to the heel (for a cleaner/polished look). I really appreciate this level of detail and have never been asked this in over 25 yrs of getting pants hemmed. My questions about taking in an OTR suit were also well answered. I will definitely come here for all my future tailoring needs.

Aboud this place by All cost, you will be scammed to think you items have been cleaned and if it is cleaned it will be destroys and the owner will blame you for bringing in your items to be cleaned. this is Not a professional establishment and they have no recourse for their scams towards customers!! I needed movers quickly for a few pieces of furniture that had to be moved to a couple of…read moreaddresses, very close to the original location. I think I found Gem Movers on Craigslist. They showed up late. Did the job, but required $200 cash deposit up front, which was not what we had discussed on the phone. But OK. They were well prepared with plastic wrap for the furniture, and accommodated my request to carry the marble table tops separately. They charged me an extra $50 for the extra stop and unload of part of the furniture. That seems to be pretty standard. They got the whole thing done in a reasonable amount of time. I called Tony, the owner, the next day, asking for a copy of the bill. He said he'd text it to me, but he didn't. I called back with another move request, but it wasn't a straightforward A to B move. It was like this: load the truck with the furniture; move the truck to a specific location, and have people come to retrieve the contents of the truck at specific pickup times. The whole thing would have taken 4 hours. He claimed he couldn't hear me, that his phone was giving him trouble. He would call me back. He didn't. Despite the fairly good work of his movers, I wouldn't use Gem Movers again, and I cannot recommend them.

I even offered to take a used TV in place of less quality to be reasonable. I get it sucks. But the owner just offered me $0.60/ pound for it. Absolutely ridiculous. They operate out of Brampton. Do not use them if you are looking for reliable services or accountability if they damage your items.
