The Container Store has been on my list for years, and I finally made the time to visit. I knew it…read morewas the kind of place you need time to really browse and also come prepared with a little extra moolah, since I've always heard it can be pricey. I visited about 1.5 to 2 hours before closing, which gave enough time to explore at a comfortable pace. There's a lot to see, and even after all that time, I know I still didn't cover everything. I'll definitely need to come back for a second and maybe even a third round. That said, I was surprised that none of the staff acknowledged or offered help, especially as I passed by them a few times. A simple "hello" or "let me know if you need anything" would've gone a long way. I also noticed some shelves were empty. Not sure if that's due to restocking, rearranging, or shipment delays. As for pricing, a lot of the items felt a bit out of my budget. I'd probably look elsewhere first to see if I could find similar things for less, just to save a few bucks. However, The Container Store is definitely a great place for inspiration. If you can't find exactly what you're looking for, you'll at least walk away with some solid organization ideas. I also liked the little knick-knacks near the registers.... fun to browse before getting in line. Overall, it's a cool spot to explore, especially if you're into home organization, but the customer service and pricing knocked it down a notch for me.

To organize or not to organize? That is the question. The answer is Yes! This place makes my…read moreVirgo tendencies so happy. I love having a place for everything and everything in its place. I happened to stop in when they had a HUGE store wide sale. I bought some storage bins for my son's playroom as well as a can organizer for the fridge and a magnet for the dishwasher. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have such cool unique items here...cute pens, organizers for your office, etc. Will be back!

I love how everything is color coded and wish more stores would organize like this. Every employee I encountered was very friendly and helpful. I did notice that they were diligently interactive with me after I picked up a $100 blouse- as they should be on a busy Saturday! But I really appreciated the small talk and direction from Randie, who gave me the brief on where to find everything, and the brief on the sister store Nextdoor. This store is a bit out of my way, but now knowing what they carry I definitely see myself returning here when I am feeling like I want to treat myself. As I am someone who prides in ensuring clothes don't go to landfill and trying to reuse or recycle as much as I can (I shop thrift a lot) I was very pleased to see that they take overflow items from designers. My only bummers were when I got home, the nice gentleman at the register unfortunately left one of the security tags on a sweater, leaving me to figure out how to break it off. It happens, but gosh dang! And then the same sweater had a bit of a small but obvious stain on it. And while I know it's already deeply discounted, it wasn't in the clearance section. So when I asked if they might consider anything additional on the top, he kindly explained how the store handles stuff like this and that basically there is a waiting period of it doesn't sell. Odd, but I'm sure it helps them profit, so I understand. Overall, I'll be back! What a great local spot!

This outlet is clean, well organized, and true to its name: there are some major markdowns and steals to be found! I would say this is a step above Nordstrom Rack when it comes to high-end designer finds. If that's what you're looking for, this is your spot! I especially enjoy their shoe selection and clearance area with even deeper discounts. Usually when I'm here, I'm looking for nice formalwear. If you're stopping in, be sure to check out Annex next door - same concept, but even cheaper (we're talking as low as $3) for designer/name brand items with imperfections!

Southdale has come a long way over the past few years, and it shows. The updates and renovations…read morehave made a noticeable difference, and the mall feels much more modern and intentional than it used to. There's no longer a shortage of recognizable brand-name stores, which makes it feel more like a true shopping destination again. There is a mix of luxury stores and every-day shopping which brings good value. That said, there are still a few odd, lesser-known shops scattered throughout with inconsistent or unusual hours, which can be a little confusing. The food options are decent. The traditional food court is a bit of a letdown, but there are better standalone options throughout the mall like Rustica Bakery, Pezzo Pizza, Yumi Sushi, People's Organic, and others. Having Kowalski's grocery store on-site is also a big plus and adds convenience. Entertainment-wise, there's more to do now with options like an escape room and Dave & Buster's. The mall is spacious, never feels overly crowded, and has plenty of parking, which makes it easy and stress-free to visit. Overall, the updates are a very welcome change. Southdale feels revitalized, easier to navigate, and much more enjoyable than it was a few years ago.

There were not many stores I was interested in going into. There was no directory- you had to use your phone to try and figure out where stores were. Overall vibe was just sad. I was there during a weekday and it was deserted. I hope once the construction is done that more stores go in, and it picks up a little, but I would not go back.

Habitat for Humanity ReStore - This is heavy solid metal. It would be awesome on a fence or house. I couldn't pass it up for 20$.

I will say, staff didn't seem warm and friendly (ie a smile, or offer to help), but at the same no one was directly rude. I gather if you ask for help, they'd assist. I noticed by the bed frames, a sign that said they have tools to disassemble, but you had to do it yourself, which is still helpful since some places wouldn't even offer that.
