It's not the most organized place on Earth but they do have dressing rooms and had a present attendant to assist you in getting one. I found a cute sweater that when I tried it on, felt like was made for me so I opted to get it. Little did I know that meant joining and endless line that swerved into narrow rows that if you suddenly changed your mind, you'd be trapped in. Also, I hope you don't object to children and families because I definitely saw quite a few of them here though none bothered me and I actually felt reassured that home training and good family values still happen since the family in front of me behaved respectfully, the parents were attentive and they seemed like a functional family that cared about one another. Those rows are far from boring since you'll see all kinds of items there. I opted to include a hairbrush since I needed one and you probably can't have too many of them. The line did move, I got my items checked out and ended up on my way. I haven't usually found things here but if you have time and want something badly enough to brave the long line, you might just find something that fits the bill.

I keep making the same mistake coming on the weekend. This place is super unorganized and it's only getting worse since the boom in people moving to the area. The line is always super love. I do give the people working here five starts because it isn't their fault customers don't put items back. There is a changing room here in case you want to make sure that nicely priced down dress you like looks good. I always appreciate the shoe section, they always have my size. The bedding area is where it gets tricky. You can find a nice bed in a bag but it's always a king size. It's rare for an nyc apartment to have a king size bed in it so I'm guessing that's why kings are always there. They literally have so many sizes here, there's home goods, pet stuff and electronics. It's pretty much like every other marshals you'd go to. Just remember about that line I mentioned earlier, it's a killer especially when there isn't a lot of people at the reregister.

For these items I go to the Target at Queens Place. Basically shop for essentials and grocery items here.

    TJ Maxx - Unique Finds!!

This was my first--and sadly, likely my last--visit to this TJ Maxx location…read more While the store is bigger than the one in Rego Park, it's extremely disorganized. Clothing racks are a mess, with sizes all mixed up, making it frustrating to shop. To make matters worse, the bathroom was disgustingly dirty. I don't understand why there's a code on the door when the restroom isn't maintained at all. There was no hand soap, no paper towels or tissues, no working hand dryer, and the smell was awful. It clearly hasn't been cleaned in a while. One employee, a middle age Asian male staff member sorting packages in the middle of a busy aisle, was also very unprofessional. I mistakenly took his cart and was yelled at loudly in front of other customers, even after I apologized. I saw him later yelling at another woman for the same thing. That kind of behavior is unacceptable. They seem to get good business, but the store seriously needs work--especially in organization, cleanliness, and staff professionalism. I recommend shopping at the Rego Park location instead, where customers are treated with basic respect.

Clothes were falling off hangers like leaves in autumn, and you could usually spot one or two items on the floor in any direction. It's a typical TJ Maxx scene but a bit messier. This store boasts two floors: the first floor is a treasure trove of women's selections, while the second floor is dedicated to men's selections and household goods. You could say it's a bifurcated wonderland of bargains and chaos. I checked out their bag selection but wasn't too impressed. Marshalls still holds the crown for that in my book. After a good 10 minutes of browsing and not finding anything I needed, I decided it was time to make my exit.

I was checking out at the self checkout around 9PM on a Tuesday evening. There weren't many customers around as it was a weekday. As I was checking out, there was a sales person by the self checkout section. I was paying by coins today as the machine gave me an option to pay by card or cash/coins. I usually pay with cash or card but since I wanted to get rid of some coins laying around the house to declutter my space, I brought some coins out to use. Then the lady, went up to me and asked me, "you're paying with coins?" I responded, "Yes, I am." She then said, "You can't put coins all at once or else the machine will jam." I respected her reasoning, I took notice, and I accommodated and slowly put in the coins little by little. She then had the audacity to tell me to "show her" my coins. WTF. Why do I have to show her the money that I was using to pay the machine to her. I am paying at a self check out. I directly asked her, "Why?" In no way shape or form was I going to let her step all over me and my rights to my own money. She made me felt so unbelievably uncomfortable. There was a camera in front of me and from the camera, I saw her in the background literally eyeing me down the whole time as I was paying. The funny thing was she an Asian middle-aged woman, probably in her late 40s or early 50s, had long black hair, and spoke perfect English. She targeted me, an asian woman, in her late 20s, and in no shape or form looked or done any illegal activity. I was well dressed, wearing a north face jacket, and a gym fit, long white socks, and a new balance sneakers with a duffel bag, since I wanted to do a mini target run after my gym workout. I have innocent features & appearance. I look way younger than my age, my hair was cleanly tied back. I had an open body language. I was only purchasing three things: frozen chicken nuggets and a bottle of ketchup and chitpotle sauce. I definitely don't feel comfortable coming back here anymore. Target, do better with your hires. You lost a loyal customer. I'm going to the one in College Point from now on.

This target was the only location that had it in stock. I was very shocked to see how huge this place was, everything was in stock at this location. I felt that they should just have one isle of clearance, they didn't. The toy isles were very big. I wish my target near me had a toy section. I found it funny that this location still sold CDs. Lol what is this the late 1990s? The store was super clean. The service was on point as it always is in a target. Target always has great values, i just didn't like that it was in different parts of the store. Huge food shopping section with great deals.

While he did that, I ran another errand. When I came back, he'd only made copies of two keys. I handed him the originals back, with the third key in my fingers, for him to make two copies of that one as well. I paid for my merchandise, got home, tried to use my new keys in the door...he'd made another pair of one of the other keys. So I go back to get the correct key made. "You made a mistake and copied the wrong key." He tells me "I can't work with you. Go somewhere else." "It was your mistake," I said, keeping myself calm though I was outraged. "If you're unhinged, I can't work with you." He actually said that to me. So he's lost a loyal customer. I will gladly go a block farther to the store on 23rd Avenue when I need something. This kind of thing is also why I buy from big box stores. They have standards for customer service and disciplinary measures when those standards are not met.

The fact that its steps from the Broadway N/W station is a huge plus. I tend to come here when there's something out of stock at the steinway location. Their order and pickup runs very smoothly. I'm really impressed with their location. They lose a star because some aisles are too small for someone who is handicapped using a wheel chair. It's hard to go down one aisle with someone in general. At times, I felt like I couldn't be in the aisle alone. In this particular location the older people tend to think anyone who is young works there. It's pretty funny, and I play along like I do and help them.
