Service was attentive and vibes were very casual- definitely lives up to the filipino street food experience. The perfect place for a nice casual yap session with friends. You start by grabbing an aluminum tray and choosing from a wide selection of skewers- all priced at just $1.50 each, which makes it an affordable place. Once you've made your picks, you pay at the counter and they'll grill everything for you. There are also a few sauces up front to customize your flavors. The grilled skewers are served in your tray, and you're ready to dig in. Some of my favorites were the quail eggs, chicken heart, pork BBQ, chicken BBQ, pork ear, and fish tofu. We were disappointed that they didn't have any chicken isaw available that day, but the rest of the food was great. Here's how it works - you place your chosen skewers on a tray and hand them over for grilling. They came out perfectly charred and so tasty that, of course, we had to order rice to go with them. I also loved the palamig served in those classic street-vendor-style containers, which is super nostalgic of the Philippines. I went with the melon flavor, and it was just right and not too sweet. With my cousin, who was visiting from Washington. As a Filipino missing home, we were both very excited to try your place, especially since street food holds a special place in our hearts. During our visit, we ordered a variety of dishes including pig ears, intestines, pork barbecue, fried bukaklak (which is fried intestines), fish balls, kwek kwek (egg wrapped in an orange-flavored batter and deep-fried), and pancit canton. I would like to share some detailed feedback about our experience. The place is decent - clean and well-kept, and the servers were very nice two kinds of sauces: vinegar and the sweet brown traditional fish ball sauce, enjoyed the pork barbecue and fried intestines; however, I found that the portions were somewhat small relative to the price. Regarding the pig ears and intestines, there was an unusual aftertaste that made me unsure if these items were not as fresh as they should be. The pancit canton was average - it was okay but not something I would order again. The cantaloupe juice was also a bit too sweet for my taste. About halfway through the meal, we realized one item was missing from our order. Though it was promptly brought out after we mentioned ii I'm not sure if it's just sitting in the kitchen and it's not even busy. My experience with LA location is way different , I find the food there to be significantly better in taste and overall quality. We had a one day trip to Cali from Vegas and really didn't want to take the drive to the location in LA which was our go to I know traffic going there was going to be over an hour so we opted for the second location which we have never been and I know you don't get the same experience as the one in LA and let me say I actually like this place specially when you don't feel like smelling like bbq because they grill it for you! Everything else is the same honestly. Service was good,friendly of course and helpful. This was more a 35 mins drive w no traffic from our hotel and it was less busy,they had a lot of parking space and they had everything pretty much what the other location had except the live grilling part which was ok. This spot has amazing deals on skewers. The ordering system is simple: you choose the skewers from the bar, pay, and then they grill everything in the back for you. The chicharrón skewer was my favorite. It was so crispy on the outside and fatty on the inside. As for the sausage, I personally found it a bit too salty. That said, the lumpia, chicken, and pork skewers were all really good. They also offer some sweet treats. I really liked the fried banana: it's coated in sugar and so crispy. It's great that this location exists so we don't have to drive to LA when we are craving skewers! Each skewer is only $1.50, so you're able to try a lot of options. They also have desserts, refreshments, and snacks. Most skewered items are $1.50 per piece. We got pork BBQ, kwek kwek, chicken isaw, veggie fried lumpia, kikiam, betamax, lobster balls, melon juice, sylvana cake slice, karioka, turon, pork isaw and pares with rice & soup $8. They used to have balut, but they said it hasn't been available for a while now. The best tasting food among all the items we got are the karioka and veggie eggrolls. The pares is quite disappointing (meat and rice is dry; not freshly made) and the pork isaw had a funny taste to it compared to my previous visits (it seemed like it was not fully cleaned so imagine the taste on what passes there).
