The merchandise is very fun and unique, so my girls were exciting and were looking for interesting souvenirs to take home. The shop owner began following my girls very closesly throughout the store, she aggressively reprimanded them for having fun & trying on hats. We were basically rushed out of the shop. My girls said they felt unwelcomed and unwanted. Not sure if it was their age, or their color, but we will not be going back to this shop.

Years later, she made me a custom-set emerald engagement ring. Beautiful! She's made me many pairs of earrings over the last 40 years. I buy the loose gemstones from Pam, and she makes them into earrings. When I lost one of my favorite earrings, a pair in chrome tourmaline that was originally made by Pam, she found a matching stone and made me another one to replace the one I'd lost--the one and only earring I've lost in more than 50 years! The shelves are clearly labeled, and I imagine the capable staff can locate anything you ask for. The friendly cashier even gave me a free bookmark and told me the story about Spooky.

You can find some nice presents. A staff member will always help you find something. The prices are not bad on some items. Older issues of High Times are half off.
