I will only be using this supermarket when I can't deal with the extra 10 minutes in each direction to go to Kingston instead. To start with, many items are expensive. Follow that up with "sales" that require you to purchase multiple items in order to avoid heavily inflated prices. Buy one get one free sales are great, but if the one is extremely overpriced then those of us who live alone will never get a decent price on those items (I don't think I can eat 36 ounces of blueberries before they go bad, for example). Another big issue for me is that the rotisserie chickens are incredibly dry. I purchased one the day they opened, and it was so dry that I called and told customer service that I understand it's their first day and maybe they needed some time to work out all the imperfections, but the chicken was almost too dry to eat. They kindly offered me a gift card for my next visit. I went today and used that to purchase a rotisserie chicken. This one is also going to need a lot of sauce. The staff is very nice, everyone I interacted with was in fact "friendly". But I really miss ShopRite prices closer to home. And their chicken.

Store was very organized, and had lots of summer stuff, too! Went directly to look where the bags were, and found some blue tissue paper. There was 15 pieces all together, and it was cheap, only $1.50. Also looked at the candy, and was happy to find some Harry Potter candy there- like chocolate frogs and the bertie bott beans. They had lots of candy, but i didn't purchase any. Glad to find them tho as a Harry Potter Fan. Anyways. went to the register, the girl helped me at the checkout, where i paid for my tissue paper with cash. Felt like i really belonged, as the girl was very pleasant too. Will be back soon for any gifting needs!

I had to stop off on Christmas Day after driving several ride requests for Uber/Lyft, and enjoyed…read morethat you actually stayed open for Christmas - a day I wasn't expecting many places to stay open that aren't fruitfully necessary. However, my experience that day was something out of the ordinary. When I generally come past, I don't find many cars in the gas lot. However, on Christmas Day's early evening just after nightfall, I was flustered and found this station to have every gas pump but one in use in relation to a comfortable angle coming into the stall to pump. I stopped in, used my GasBuddy card as normal (at the pay-at-the-pump-only transaction), ended up texting some of my family, and pulled out all without any problems. I know I made the mistake of choosing "no" when it came to deciding for a receipt but knew I'd be paying a lesser amount from GasBuddy's discount, so-chose accordingly. It was so busy that night when I came, I couldn't think straight and wasn't even noting all other things at this station - I wasn't thinking straight! Almost got side-swiped when another truck-sized vehicle decided to come past me before I pumped and was in my vehicle. Thank god he had a few inches between me and the vehicle parked in front of me (at the parking spots ahead of me).
