The products range from toys, baby and toddler clothes (TONS OF THEM), electronics, furniture and decor, sporting goods, etc. Their prices are not anything amazing, but according to their compare at stickers they are cheaper than at a normal store. They arent prices that make me want to buy something I dont really need just because its so cheap. For this reason I would give them 3 stars. However, the cause behind this store is amazing and makes me want to shop there as often as possible. This store is a non-profit that gives ALL its profits to orphanages, clean water projects and more. They do an unbelievable amount for people in need. Seems like a pretty cool store. Fridays, the price is $10 and the prices drop each day. So the cheapest day to shop is Thursday, when items are 50 cents. However, that is when the selection is the poorest. Bins are refilled on Friday and the selection is the best on that day. Conversely, the price is also the highest on Friday. We visited on Wednesday and the bins still had stuff in them, albeit mostly undesirables. The lighting is bright, but annoying. If you have time to pick thru the bins, have at it!

However I did question a few things that I had won regarding their "newness" as I had purchased a slipcover for a loveseat, not original packing and dog hair embedded in it. I washed it and used it b/ci had bought it for b/c of our dogs. I also purchased a Michael Todd dermaplaner which was listed as "new", but had to question its new state since a couple of blades were missing from the package. Did I say anything to them then? No I gave it a good cleaning and purchased new blades. BUT I had to say something on one of my last purchases. It was listed as a "new" Rowenta clothes iron, so I bid on it, and was quite disappointed to find a battered taped up box, that contained a yellowed from original white color, and smelling of moth balls. No way this was new. So I called the number, and a guy answers the phone, never giving his name. Told him the issue, and he replies nonchalantly with, "if you don't like it, bring it back and we will refund you" (take it back to Avon), I said that's it, just bring it back? His reply was "yep is that all you want?" And when I said yes he hung up. So then I felt compelled to write a message via messenger to Westlake Liquidation, which I did, and I got a reply that "Sorry if there was a mix up on our end, just keep the iron, and a refund will be sent. Which they immediately sent and then BLOCKED me from bidding on their website. When I inquired why I was blocked I was told they have a zero tolerance for rude or aggressive behavior toward their staff. I was like wait, I'm the customer who should have received an apology, but because I shared my disappointment with them on their practices, I was blocked from their site, and no one would even talk with me. So BEWARE IF YOU BID ON THEIR STUFF THAT THEY SAY IS NEW!!!! And DONT YOU DARE SHARE YOUR DISAPPOINTMENT IN HOW THEY HANDLE CUSTOMERS SERVICE.!!!!!
