The candy was actually $1.25 so I'm not sure if price-wise it would've been better at Walmart, but I found the candy I wanted and didn't want to run around trying to penny pinch. The staff members were friendly and when I got to the cash register I forgot something and she told me to run go get it. She also informed me that they have price scanners (cause everything aint $1.25 and the item I was questioning rang up $10) so I didn't need to bring it to the front. So, I headed there first chance I got , which happened to be Sunday around 5 ish. I received a warm Japanese Greeting from a pretty Mature Japanese Lady. She had gray hair with thick bangs across her forehead, slated eyes and her hair pulled in a Bun. She greeted everyone so kindly while others looked at her like she was crazy? There's a little bit of everything in Daiso. The majority of the stuff, I don't really need or want but, the items are cute and colorful. I found something, I couldn't live without, two square containers with lids for $1.75 Lol.. The container was just the right size, I was looking for. I can use them for a food storage too. Daiso is very clean and organized. Lots of employees on the floor stocking shelves but, never offered assistance? The prices are not the best but the products are unique. Also the price chart was a bit confusing. I'm glad Daiso made it to Texas but, I prefer Dollar Tree. I probably wouldn't make an effort to come here. If I have some time to kill, I will. An older lady Vicki, who I assume was a manager, was being very rude to this young man basically calling him stupid for needing help. I really couldn't believe what I was witnessing so publicly and that this kid was being humiliated in front of a store full of people. I felt terrible for this kid and told him he should take that kind of treatment a work. He was very kind and thank me for saying so. Marshalls, do better with holding your management accountable for how they treat young people just entering the workforce.

This time I was vigilant and watching the price, but still something slipped by and I was charged double than what was advertised. I had gotten home before I saw it, so I'm sol because I am not able to drive all the way back. Also, the cart that the cashier put my groceries into did not have a quarter in it, so I had to run inside and get my quarter back! That means I had to leave my children in the car (I had already loaded everything and everyone into my vehicle) while I'm waiting for her to finish the transaction she was working on. The third issue with this location, they have higher prices on coffee and other items than the location I normally visit. Crazy because they're both within 20 minutes of each other! I guess Alliance can justify charging more all-around because people just pay it and don't argue. It's just not worth my effort to shop at this location. I can just shop closer to home and save myself the cart shuffling and price corrections, as well as gas.

I have been an exclusive Publix shopper for the last 40 years and today I had the worst experience…read moreever, from any store, Publix, Arlington, Jacksonville, FL. On my way to work I stopped in quickly to stock our community fridge with Seagram Ginger Ale, division of Coca Cola. Publix weekly ad listed Coca Cola products 2 for 2, 6 pack bottles, mini cans and 8 packs of 16oz. I have been purchasing this special almost weekly and it always shows up on my 'just for you' list when offered, as it did this morning when I checked the new weekly ad. I went into the store, rather hurried, went to the customer service register and as approaching mentioning how happy I was with Publix always having Seagrams Ginger ale in some kind of special. As the associate rings my purchase,she said 'you must be mistaken, Ginger ale is never on 2 for 2' I said, well it is marked and advertised as 2 for 2 ALL Coca Cola products. She said, 'Never on Ginger ale' and walked with me to the aisle, where the sale was clearly marked ALL Coca Cola products. I had just purchased this exact sale, 2 weeks ago. I left extremely angry, returned to the parking lot and googled Seagrams. They were purchased by Coca Cola in 2002. I went back into the store to witness the associate relaying our interaction to her manager, as she saw my reentering, approaching the manager, she picked up the Ginger Ale and walked it back to the soda aisle. The manager did confirm that I was correct and that Seagrams was indeed a division of Coca Cola and part of the advertised sale. The associate in question, still within ear shot of this interaction, continued to replace the items to the shelf, ignoring me and her manager. I know this is just about soda on sale, but the attitude and refusal to even refer to a manager or fellow associate, all within a few feet of this interaction, it the issue. The manager was extremely apologetic and offered to review the situation with the associate as a training opportunity, however, for me, the damage was done.
