I know customers can mess up the books but they can have at least one worker in charge of book organizing. I love the deals on the energy drinks I got before. Like the reign and toxic waste energy drinks. I do wish their site and app would allow for buying books and other products online, but over all aside from the books issues I like Ollie's and their worker's are very friendly from my experience. While they had a lot of classic and domestic products, they do offer a decent amount of local beer, wine, and pre-mixed cocktails (even though the Untappd app said the local beer I was looking for wasn't sold anywhere in a 25 mile radius, Island Foods had it!). We came the week of Pony Penning, and the store makes a couple dozen cakes (see picture) to celebrate the occasion. The produce aisle is small, but they have enough that you could get a decent variety of fruits and vegetables for your stay. There's a pretty decent selection of meats here. I don't remember seeing too much non-frozen seafood, but I imagine it's hard to compete with the fresh catch with specialty fish markets on the island. I was pleasantly surprised to find several Gardein products, which meant vegetarian Child #1 could have some imitation meats and seafood if he wanted a protein similar to what the rest of his omnivorous family would get. Things are pricey. Inflation's here to stay and it's a touristy beach town. Considering that, it's not too bad. The folks at the register were very friendly. Whatever foodstuffs you're looking for, it's a good bet that Island Foods has it.

However, there is always a good deal to be had at the Yankee candle shop or Bath & Body Works. We noticed on our trip today that the Pepperidge farm shop was no longer there. That was quite a disappointment because it was one of the reasons we wanted to go. True, I should have checked the website to see if it was still there but I didn't think I would have any reason to assume it was not. Regardless, if you are heading to the Eastern shore it's definitely worth making a stop; if for no other reason than to get some exercise in and enjoy a nice day.

There was a long line the whole time we were there today and only one person ringing people up. They had a lot of Christmas and holiday decorations and clothing out, which was good timing! I ended up purchasing multiple strings of outdoors lights at $3 each. They had lots of good deals on all of their products. We will go back again in the future!
