Whoever does pricing now seems to not be able to distinguish between Walmart-style and Dollar Tree merch vs quality and collectible items. Why would I pay $2 for items that are clearly Dollar Tree items (Greenbriar brand). I always used to find quality jewelry there, especially sterling silver and gold. Haven't seen that there in years. Maybe they sell it to a jeweler instead now? The staff is not very helpful or friendly and a tall blonde woman (manager?) is downright rude! Since they moved location, the new place is larger and items are easier to see and more spread out. They have lots of nice space now and it is easier to move around.

If you do get the chance to go when it is open, they have a great selection of every type of odds and ends. Nothing particularly extravagant or crazy special but I went with my mom and we weren't expecting to actually buy anything and both came out having spent some money with things wethings. This is the second…read moretime I had to deal with the nasty ,rude guys that work in back where you drop off the items. Last week I took a bunch of stuff there ,I was in line. Got out of my truck to only move the stuff towards the back of my truck ,so I could get it out when it was my turn. The Indian looking guy with long hair got smart with me and said next time wait your turn ,I said I am not even doing anything but moving things to back of my truck. He then grabs my things and throws it in the cart. I told him he was rude and I would not be coming back again. They need to train these people to rescept the customers. Like I said this isn't the first time this has happened. Don't waste your time coming here. There are tons of other places who are grateful and helpful that you are bringing items to them.

The items cost essentially what you would find on, eBay or an online secondhand store. To be honest they were definitely more expensive than just about any thrift/vintage/consignment/craft fair I've been to. and the people who work there weren't outgoing or overly helpful or nice.

Lion, Sheba and I were in Rehobeth for the annual Polar Bear Plunge, where Lion runs headlong into…read morethe freezing water while Sheba and I stand on the beach with towels and a robe for him when he gets out. It's quite fun, and while this year it was unusually freezing (I saw frozen sea foam), it was sunny and bright. While Lion was defrosting himself we decided to check out the local thrift scene...only to discover that most of the local thrift scene is closed on Sundays. Understandably, it's a beach town in winter. Unfinished Business was open so we headed there. The store is a little obscured from DE Route 1, there's a Panera Bread in front of their building and part of the building is a self storage company so unless you turn on the side street you will be looking at the next shopping center over and not finding it. It's like a treasure hunt for treasure. It's not a large store, however it was clean and what they had was reasonably well displayed, in the style of a retail store. They had some lovely clothing and housewares, at reasonable, but not bargain, prices. I did find a fantastic oversized fisherman style wool sweater, the kind you really need to wear a long sleeve shirt under 'cause it's kinda itchy but divinely warm, and a few knick nacks. Sheba found some clothes and a cool mug. The staff were friendly, though they mostly left us to do our browsing. Parking is easy, there's a large free private lot out front. This is a nice place for someone on vacation, or maybe outfitting a beach house, to pick things up, benefits some local charities, however it's not a stop for the thrift or bargain hunter.
