I went in to purchase items that were previously marked as 25 cents, now marked as a penny--a viral trend known as "Dollar Tree penny items." I had a cartful of these items, and Alan refused to sell any of them to me, even though corporate has sent all stores nationwide an email stating, "If a customer attempts to purchase an item that rings up at the register for a penny, allow that customer to purchase this item." Instead, Alan told me, "I'm not selling these items to you, you're not getting them for a penny." When I asked why hundreds of these items were still on the sales floor, he dismissed me and even accused me of lying about the penny policy. He ridiculed me in front of other customers, which was humiliating and completely uncalled for. I have shopped at this store for years, but Alan's behavior was unacceptable. When I asked for the district or regional manager's contact information, he claimed not to know, and even refused to tell me who hired him. He continued to deny me the sale and acted in a very unprofessional manner. Corporate needs to address this issue and reach out to me regarding Alan's conduct and the store's refusal to honor company policy. This was a very disappointing experience.

An elderly woman and her grandson were in front of me. She said hello to Jules and asked how he was doing- all the while he never stopped chewing- and DID NOT respond. Her grandson then spoke and said thesame - TWICE! - and Jules replied "Bro, don't you see I'm chewing!" The grandmother WENT OFF!! - as she should have! - because I was even taken aback at his response. If she hadn't said anything I was going to. Jules then takes off his name tag and storms out of the store!! What happened to respecting your elders? What kind of people is $Tree hiring? The manager then tries to justify the situation by saying "he didn't mean it that way, you have to understand everyone's situation." I'm calling bull on that!!!! Does $Tree not live by the customer is always right slogan? It was sad and appalling and a few customers dropped their things, including me, and walked out. Even though this location is convenient on my way home, I will go out of my way, to Covington, and not shop here. Disgraceful and dissapointing.

Dollar Tree - The snack and candy aisle is well stocked.

As long as you go into Dollar Tree without high expectations, everything will be great! This chain…read moreis all about bargains that can save you lots of money if you buy them here rather than going to other stores and paying more for the same things. This is the place to shop for great discounts. This Dollar Tree is in Cambridge Square, and all of the small businesses share a large and free parking lot. Seasonal merch is strategically placed so that they are the first things that customers see. After that, depending on which aisle the customers walk through, they'll could see housewares, kid's toys, games and books, personal care items, hair and skin products, things for your pets, and a whole lot more items. If you're looking for groceries or clothing, there are limited supplies of canned and boxed foods, and clothing looked like it was extremely limited only to socks. The only things that are refrigerated are individual cold beverages. You won't find anything fresh, like fruits or vegetables. Customers will find a large snack and candy aisle filled with many popular items that are priced a whole lot higher at other stores. For a store that gets picked over throughout the day, everything is kept generally organized. This store is clean. Due to inflation, the minimum prices have gone up to $1.25, which is the price of most of the items in inventory, although I believe some of the items were priced at $3 and $5. There are many name brand items scattered throughout the store, but most of the items sold here are have brands that are not well known, with packaging that are similar to the name brands. Customer service has always been great. The employees at the registers try to get customers through the line as efficiently and quickly as possible. Check out Dollar Tree, if you haven't already. I'm sure you'll be surprised (but in a good way!).

So when I come across a fabulous location, I don't know how to act. My bestie had been telling me how wonderful this Decatur store was for a while and I finally went out of my way to be sure I popped my head in recently. What a win. I actually had a few items on my list so that I didn't go in wandering aimlessly. But somehow, I still did just that. You can't help it! It's so spacious in there! The store was so quiet and peaceful, incredibly clean and so organized. I felt like everytime I went down one aisle, there was another row of 3 right next to it. Each aisle was filled with items I hadn't ever seen at a DT, all neatly laid out in their places. A really incredible selection of goods from office supplies, home goods, food and so much more. There were only 2 out of 3/4 lanes open with a few customers in the queue, but the team moved swiftly and were incredibly kind. (S/O to Ms. Johnetta!) I can't believe that this Dollar Tree has been up under my nose this entire time, I'll be there for those $1.25 deals going forward!

From household essentials and cleaning supplies to party items, snacks, and random little life-savers, it's hard to leave without a full basket. The prices make it easy to stock up without feeling guilty, and the variety is honestly impressive for a discount store. It's especially clutch for quick errands, last-minute needs, or when you're organizing, crafting, or hosting something on a budget. Staff has always been helpful when I've needed to find something, and checkout is usually quick and smooth. It's not fancy -- but it absolutely gets the job done. Dollar Tree continues to be one of my go-to spots for everyday wins.

So because of my loyalty, I stay in Dollar Trees across the city and wherever I go. I mean, who wouldn't?! If you know what you're looking for, you can really make some magic! I was out and about running errands in the area and stopped into this Dollar Tree location for some specific products. This DT is located in a large plaza with tons of parking and space so finding a spot to park is not an issue. There were some folks outside selling items to people walking into the stores but I'm not ever up for knocking someone's hustle. Make your money honey! Once I made it inside of the store, I felt like I was in a forgotten Dollar Tree. As if someone abandoned it and folks decided to take over and get to work, lol. There were only a few other folks shopping in the store besides me when I entered and it was extremely quiet. As I shopped the aisles, what stood out most to me was how bare some of the shelves were. It's as if they ran out of some stock and just decided not to refill them. There were carts in the middle of some aisles that didn't have anyone tending to them and were left just blocking the walkways. I will say that the arts & crafts aisle was stacked! Which is what I went there for, so I did walk out with what I needed, but not much more. Also, the employee that checked me out was lovely and answered some questions for me with so much patience, I appreciated that! Overall, not an outstanding location but I walked out with what I hoped for despite not coming across many gems that I'm used to at Dollar Tree. I'm not in this area often but hope that they continue updating and keep those aisles stocked for DT lovers like myself.
