The door watchers in this Walmart are some of the worst I've seen…read moreTrevor I think it is 6 foot tall chunky country guy looks like he doesn't wanna be there most days barely ever smiles I've gotten some serious attitude out of several of there employees employees that are sad stories or angry for no apparent reason. This store is not busy for large portions of the evening yet somehow it's hard for the door watchers to be friendly And it seems like every time they hire a new employee they need to be babied for a month to learn how to provide reasonable customer service.

Prices are a bit steep, but that's not unexpected for a small store, and the sales are often great. They carry Polar seltzer seasonal flavors, which can be hard to find at other stores. Yes, you have to watch the bagging--sometimes it's awful. They've been great recently about having human-staffed checkout aisles available or ready to open--the emphasis on self-checkout used to keep me from shopping here, but not anymore.

In store sub line still sucks and it's still slow, but if you pre-order on the app for pickup it's great 80% of the time now. They did cut the meat portions by like 50% in the last 2 1/2 years,forget things like the extra oil on the side, cut it wrong, forget toppings, skimp on toppings... here and there, but it's better than it was. Sushi: 4.5 stars out of 5. Filling portions have gone down some in the last 2 1/2 years, but quality is still good. It's rare to get old mushy avocado in their sushi now. They always have great new rolls to try. Staff are always friendly working that section too. Pizza: 3 stars out of 5. Staff really like to chit chat with the already snail slow sub station staff and take their sweet time. Skimpy on toppings. Not very good pizza especially in NY where we have amazing pizza all over. Shelf stocking staff: 5 stars Always organized, faced, and clean with a good variety. Stocked well 90% of the time and rarely anything out of date or damaged. Parking lot and cart staff: 5 stars It's so clean and debris free. Carts are always orderly as well as restocked quickly. Bonus: If there's ever a spill, broken glass, or garbage anywhere in the store or parking lot staff are on it IMMEDIATELY. Very clean!

A little of everything here including a pretty nice selection of beers. Don't be put off by the exterior. It is open and fully stocked. You can get campfire wood too.

What's not to love about Wegmans?! I come here basically every time I'm in Erie because I miss the…read morechain and this is the closest location to my home in the Pittsburgh area. This location has a lot of great features. The cafe area has pizza, sushi, subs, salads, soups all ready to eat or made to order. They also have a large selection of pre-packaged items that can be eaten in or taken home to enjoy. The cafe space is clean and well maintained with a variety of seating options (including a small kids table area which is fun if you bring little ones). The parking lot is well lit and well maintained and has plenty of accessible spaces (including some marked for those that are pregnant or with small children). There is an amazing bakery with a wide variety of freshly baked goods, a large wine and beer selection, more varieties of cheese than you ever knew existed and tons of great meats and seafoods. The standard grocery store area of the store is well stocked, well marked and it is easy to find what you are looking for. They have a lot of their own branded products and they are affordably priced with a nice variety. Some of my favorites are their cereals and their sparkling waters. There are ample cashiers available and they are always courteous and efficient. Whether you are looking for a specialty item or just doing your weekly shopping, this Wegmans is wonderful.

This time we got mostly prepared foods: sushi, Greek salad, garlic chicken, chow fun noodles, fresh fruit bowl, seaweed salad, and a Danny's Favorite 12" sub. I like that they put calories right on the top of the lids of the containers. The grab & go prepared foods are endless. Every cuisine! Always fresh. I like that you can buy a salad (5-6 kinds) & then buy protein to top it like tofu, chicken, shrimp, salmon etc. Check out was quick. Parking lot was full! We'll be back tomorrow since we're renting a place nearby. They also have a large nice patio out back with umbrella tables too.
