It is open to the public and the place is a trip as it has everything from tools, food, clothing, kids toys, electronics, home goods, etc. If you're a fan of Axeman or Milaca Unclaimed Freight, it scratches all those itches of weird and random bargains. You name it, it probably has come through here at one point. Remember the game Operation? Ya pick out the the body parts with tweezers and try not to light the nose? $5 which was down from the discounted price of $10. The Easter baskets and stuffing I bought to load up as presents? Free. The dozen crayola colored pencils to add to those baskets? 50 cents each. The big screen TV's and some other things I saw were over priced but the lady said they would entertain all offers if they are reasonable. I mean, they had air hoses next to garden planters and straps and good grief! They simply carry a lot of random shite. Did I mention circular saw blades? Yep, they had those too. No one even looked at the devices we brought even though we bought the devices there That no one would be able to fix it and basically that I lost over $500 wasted my time and money at this business I would not recommend buying anything here as they're selling things that are either not working correctly or still have a old account and they're refusing to remove the old account from the account from the device.

I highly recommend making a shopping date with friends and then hitting coffee afterwards. Bonus: Flying Pig is typically open until 6 pm and Ginkgo 8 pm!! Flying Pig Thrift is staffed primarily by volunteers and everyone is beyond kind. Community resources are available onsite via a bulletin board and the shop supports 3 main non-profit groups. Within the dressing area room, there was a flyer supporting mental health resources and I smiled when I saw it. There are a wide variety of items that shift seasonally and frequently. Items are fairly priced and there are often sales, half price item days and even a permanent sale section in the back. I was really excited to score a denim button up with funky colorful bird designs, a cute yellow bee kind sweatshirt along with a black Nike top. Largely decor/dish type items here but there's also some odds and ends you could grab for your own projects, like 25¢ old keys. First of all, I LOVE that the store is still owned and operated by E themselves. Amazing! They were at the cashier stand both times I came in. Second, I LOVE that this is a house outfitted to be a shop! It's sooo magical to see everything organized by theme or color coordination while wandering through the different rooms. Vintage kitchen goodies in the vintage kitchen?! Say less. Third, the prices are quite reasonable for the amazing quality and uniqueness!! It's such a well-curated shop, and deals around every corner. I got a bunch of stuff my first stop in, from macrame plant holders to art to bowls. I feasted my eyes on a vintage leather coffee table ($200) that I wanted for my space, and when I called a few weeks later, E confirmed it was still there so I came and got it.
