It's main competitor, Rose's, has been closed for more than six months, so this is the go-to store for cheap stuff, I guess, since Family Dollar and their ilk are much smaller.

It's almost addictive to want to scour the shelves for the treasures you think you might find. I wasn't looking for anything in particular when I was stopping here, but of course I had a few ideas in mind when I was looking. I went directly to the housewares department as I was looking for items that would help me in the kitchen area. Somehow during the move I lost my utensils, among other things. Eating with plastic utensils and chopsticks was getting to be a bit too much. I ended up finding not just utensils while I was there. This location was rather well organized. Staff were helpful. Checking out was a breeze and I was onto my next location.

He did not give any signal or said anything to informed me that I should remove out of his way. Secondly, I went to check-out and left my items on the counter. He asked could I come and remove them because he was unable to check the next customer out. I said sir I am coming I only wanted to pick-up vitamins. As I approached the counter he had checked out a lady that had come up to the counter. As he checked my items out he did not give me any bags for my bleach and I asked for the items to be bag and he told me the bags are to expensive. I asked for his manager information---his response again he was the manager and no one was above him. I informed that he was very rude! He told me to get out his store because I was trespassing and was on camera. Being upset the way I was treated, I return to the store to ask for a full refund. He told the cashier do not give me a refund and he was calling the police because I was trespassing. I explained I only wanted my money back. I said sir I have no problem following the rules , what I do have a problem with is the disrespectful attitude the lack of acknowledgement and the level of entitlement in which was exerted from his disrespectful employee ... So he says to me well we have a lot of people who come in with bags and go to the back so we do come with an attitude from time to time.... I was in disbelief, that he tried to justify her actions.... My response was so happily paying unknown customers have to deal with your disgruntled employees and negative attitude due to others mistakes .... Needless to say this isn't the first time I've had a bad experience there.... This is just the last time I'm willing to deal with it.... I will never shop there again. I wont be a belittled paying customer by a classless young lady and out of touch managers who don't understand how customer service works.... If you're unhappy with your job, quit. They rarely have what I need. And even if you are fortunate enough to find an employee, they won't know what they're doing or anything about the specific sports equipment you need. If you need a cheap, Chinese made baseball for your kid's little league, they have you covered. But this is no REI. Or even Cabela's or Bass pro shop. It's the Kmart of sporting goods. I kick myself every time I leave empty handed and vow never again. She knows what she's doing. I often can't find many of the items that I want in DC's Chinatown shops due to on-going supply chain struggles, so I come here. This store has the stuff I need.
