I visited this location to redeem a builders coupon for 2-pints of paint and to purchase a gallon of paint for a new project... what a great experience. Not only were the employees friendly, they were helpful with recommendations and transparent with pricing. For example, I had a 50% coupon and already went online for pricing so knew what expect... or so I thought. I was told (before purchase) that the store prices are different from the online purchases. I was appreciative of being made aware of this prior to making a purchase. I selected the brand, color, and paint type then he took a few minutes to mix the color according to the type I requested. Upon completion of the purchase, he boxed up my items and loaded them into my vehicle. Even better, 1-pint of paint listed on my coupon was out of stock and he took down my number to call when it became available with a free drop off at my house since this company is frequently in my neighborhood... saving me a job. Horrible service! Hired Dean for a custom door install in our home; start to finish job. We told…read morethem at hire it would have to be custom because no doors fit the width, we had to hire someone else to take the door frame off to measure the width. They messed up the original price on the contract but then charged us the same amount to cover up the mistake (taxed the labor on the first contract). After 2 months our custom door came in and when the install team showed up, there was a chunk out of the door which they didn't fix. The install team didn't know what the job description was as they thought it was install only and I had to show them the contract that described paint and install. They didn't have any door hardware even though it was supposed to be a start to finish job, so we had to go to their store where they didn't have the hardware needed to complete the job (we would have to install ourselves). Additionally, the plastic covering the windows for painting was left on and we will have to razor the edges and remove it ourselves. We will never use Dean for a home job again.

When I bought my condo a year and a half or so ago - the builder, Beazer, used McCormick brand…read morepaints to paint the place. Beazer left me with a pint of the wall paint and a pint of the trim paint for touchups. I recently used up most of that pint of wall paint for repainting a couple of sections of wall in the living room after having the walls ripped open for a custom surround sound speaker cable run for my HD TV setup. I figured I had better get some more of this paint and hold it in reserve just in case (you never know when the manufacturer is going to discontinue a color!). I found that McCormick Paint is not available at Home Depot or Lowe's - you have to go to their own stores. Fortunately, there is one nearby in Manassas. I've gone by here once before on a Saturday afternoon - but they have limited hours on Saturdays - they close at noon. It's located on Route 28 south of Manassas - a bit just past the interchange of Route 28 and the Prince William County Parkway/Route 28 Bypass. So I made a point to get there about 11:30 am this morning. They had what I needed in stock! Picked up a gallon of their "Tempo Premium - Interior Semi Gloss Acrylic Enamel 18012 Designer White." Cost was $33 and change. Guy snagged me a gallon, rang me up, and I was on my way!
