The larger Dollar Tree seems to have a better selection which is helpful when I'm in a hurry. The cashier isn't ever very friendly but I go out of my way to chat with her and give her a smile. I think the "extended holiday hours" might be getting to her. I will continue to visit both stores.

There's a lot of clothes here and they seem to be in line with what Goodwill would price them at. This is a one to two star business, but I'll add a star since they do make an effort to help the homeless. You're more likely to walk out of here empty-handed then to find some small treasure here. The clothes I see in Dallas are more diverse, but leaning more towards the mature side. So, the clothes they have do depend on the location of the Uptown. For this particular location, I think they're pretty good on having clothes that are trendy and up-to-date for college students. The most recent visit I had was very pleasant. They were doing an event for an anniversary and I was welcomed with a coupon at the door which was nice! I ended up a few things including a pair of Aerie Crossover Flowy Shorts for such an amazing price that I couldn't even find looking through Depop and Poshmark. After checking out, I was given a swag bag that had some cute pieces in there and I left with a cookie lol. I love and miss San Marcos so much! This place is also one of the reasons why I enjoy coming back. I remember thrifting in SanMo wasn't always the best specifically for me, but I think this place is guaranteed to have the items you're looking for. The other clothes seemed hit or miss - more on the miss side. They seemed older/different age group than the other stuff. A week later it had not been picked up after numerous calls to overstock I was told to just dispose of it myself!!! I had already told them I was a disabled senior citizen and couldn't move this large mirror plus it's BROKEN, which is dangerous. Two weeks later I am still waiting for overstock to remove this broken dangerous mirror from my place, they care about getting your money but not about the customer, there delivery time is long and drawn out for furniture and large items. If these things are delivered broken or damaged they don't care because it's your problem.
