well my options have made no impact. Actually didn't think hey would (u no the 1 voice in the…read morewilderness thing.) That said I thought I would add a comment or 2 following trying to continue shopping here (in spite of the issues) . You no doing the same thing the same way over and over expecting different results...yeah i may be crazy according to Einstein (and others). I've been a fan of save-a-lot since moving to this are 6 yrs ago.Still am. But everyone has their issues: 1. Not a fan of customer "bating" (u no sales with very limited quantities that are gone quickly..but now u'r stuck in the store to spend money anyway. 2. They used to carry more cases of prune juice (yeah I'm part of that older group). NOW its 2 cases on the top shelf and that's it. I always buy in, more or less in bulk, and used to always buy 2 cases at a time. That's gone and of course no back stock. I suggest sales are done because its just never available and its shoved up on the top shelf which is just an added inconvenience...and its getting frustrating to the point of looking for alternative stores. Yes i do recognize I'm only 1 customer and i recognize businesses don't cater to the single customers' needs. And customer doesn't trump numbers.. 3. the 5 for five deals were absolutely the best. I always bought the chopped vegetable (bell peppers etc) but they were gone also.....it just may not be worth the hassle to drive to 2 different save-a-alots just to buy the things i need. I've ALWAYS like shopping here; but its quickly becoming pointless. I wanted to add an addendum comment. They do often have in stock the frozen chicken leg quarters. It's a really good price point and if I'm shopping there i always pickup 3 of 4 of these (i go thru a lot of poultry). However, this by itself isn't enough to boost the rating. It may not be worth it regardless to have to drive to multiple locations just to get the few things i shop for even when buying quantities. There are other retailers.

People usually think of Save a lot grocery stores as being less than a grocery store. Some terrible…read moredirty, step child of a regular grocery store. It is true that it is physically smaller than most grocery stores. It offers less variety & fewer options to purchase. They carry very few major label foods. What they do carry is inediblely inexpensive fresh produce, some is even organic. Come on when is the last time you paid $.39 a pould for bananas? Canned goods are generic, but will stand up to most name brands. They have: cereal, crackers, cookies, household goods, fresh meat, dairy, frozen foods ( the frozen berries are a great value), breads, pet food& much more. They have a butcher, so you know the meat is freshly cut & they have some fantastic prices on their weekly specials, especially meat & produce. No, I can't do all of my grocery shopping at this store, but if you want to save some money & not miss out on quality, give it a try! Know your prices, everything in the store is not a bargain, some items are higher priced than a big retail market. Do the math, know your prices & shop the sales & it is a win, win situatio. They only have bags that you can inexpensively purchase, but we should all be taking our own bags to any grocery store to be environmentally conscious. They do accept cash credit or debit cards. What's a girl to do? Love fresh produce & veggies & who doesn't like to save money, a must in my book.
