I ordered up a pressed 12" Italian sandwich, which George behind the counter exclaimed is their claim-to-fame.

This was literally the first place we stopped into for lunch while waiting for our hotel to be…read moreready. I thought the inside decor was really cool and it was basically set up like a New York City deli. Even in the parking lot it had Knicks, jets and Giants parking lot signs. Stopped in on a Wednesday around 3 PM and wasn't very busy. TVs everywhere and looks like a good place to watch a sporting event, but I did notice they close at 9 PM. Not sure if those hours are still correct. My lunch was fantastic and I started out with a bowl of matzoh ball soup for eight dollars and then I highly recommend this huge deli sub called the Cranston Kevin. Huge sandwich for $20 and worth it and the potato salad is pretty good as well. I added a picture of the sandwich which is almost like a French dip, but it's got turkey on it as well. Our server was Lauren and she even said it's her favorite sandwich on the menu. On the other side of the restaurant, they have a huge bakery as well, but didn't grab anything but did some window shopping of all the great stuff they had in the bakery. Great lunch spot and would def come back

As a fledgling mom & pop business, I wish them all of the best. As this store has not been open…read morelong & has not received full inventory, I wish them all the success in the world . Now a few pointers, in my humble opinion. There is a male/ female duo that appear to be the owners & another lady that makes the sandwiches . The female duo is a bit hard of hearing & communication can be difficult. The man, wants to be heard & tell you his opinion. Because I wanted my Cuban cold, he said I should get an Italian, excuse me, I know what I like to eat. Many specialty items in the store were not marked with prices. I was interested in several, but I have a personal issue, when items are not already priced, so I sadly passed on these items. The produce was sparse, which I understand. Being new, why buy big lots of produce, to have it go bad. What I think you should do, with the produce you have, is put your best effort forward. Wipe off the dust & grime & have all produce looking as good as it can!. I walked into the store & 2 people were standing around waiting for a customer or something to do. There was plenty to do! The only great looking produce I saw, was the ginger. The lady behind the counter has limited English, but makes a good sandwich. The Cuban, still was not on Cuban bread, but it was okay. They are new, & hopefully they will learn. What's a girl to do? I keep trying new places & have yet to find a Tampa great Cuban sandwich. Good luck to the new owners, a produce market & deli could definitely be used at that location.

Fabulous little market. Super friendly staff. And a surprise . . . Lebanese Baklava! I do not like…read moreBaklava at all. But the owner just handed me a piece, and I didn't want to hurt his feelings. I should never have doubted. I'm sorry to my Greek friends, but it was fantastic. Better than the Greek version! The man knows his business. I immediately bought a box of them. Do not sleep on the Lebanese Baklava.

Speaking of someone who's been going to this place since I first came into my neighborhood in the 2000s, it was right down the block from where I live. Overall, I've always had mixed feelings about this place. It was definitely well kept and well decorated with a nice little solarium-like eating area. The eating environment was pretty clean and the staff was approachable for the most part. Food wise? That's...Where I tend to break on the matter. You see, while it was good with sandwiches, everything else was pretty mediocre; a lot of their traditional Greek dishes tend to have little flavor or be a bit watery, and they frequently relied on the microwave to serve it hot which is a huge no-no in the restaurant business. In my personal opinion, where Bread and Butter's strength lies, aside from sandwiches, was international products that it would sell on the side like authentic Turkish delights, pastries that were actually pretty tasty to eat and kept cold, and soups that would always be kept heated and guaranteed to be good. Ontop of that, their pastries were actually really impressive and I'm surprised just how little credit they got for that. I'm going to miss all that very much, and in truth I regret not trying their sandwiches instead. Although Bread and Butter wasn't my favorite place, nor would I consider it gourmet, it had its charm and it was definitely an iconic staple within Tarpon Springs and its community. To see it go is honestly saddening but no good thing lasts forever; That it was there to begin with is what matters the most.

This was such a pleasant stop. As usual I was in a hurry and stopped in to grab a quick deli…read moresandwich. I was quickly surprised by the most genuine kind staff. They were all so helpful. The owner walked me through the food bar describing every dish. I talked to a veteran that says he and his wife come for the chicken parm every Sunday for the last 22 years!!! The deli felt like it haven't been updated since the 90s. It was so cute. I ended up ordering a turkey club. The turkey was carved off of one of four turkeys they smoke daily. I had toasted wheat bread, white and dark turkey meat, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. It was delicious
