I went really only for an amazon return drop off as i was in the area and stood in line for what totaled about 20 minutes, most of which was spent as the next person in line with literally no one in front of me or being helped at the desk but with 6 associates standing behind the desk all except for one completely ignoring me and the accumulating people behind me in line which ended up being about 15 people at the end. It's just my interpretation but seemed like these women were all ignoring me deliberately except for one nice lady who was clearly busy and acknowledged me twice to apologize and even asked her manager to help me but the manager decided not to i guess as she just looked at me and said/did nothing. I finally spoke up and said, I'm sorry but will there be someone available to help me? SIX of these women all then Yelled at me, all in unison as if I'm was crazy to even say anything. They Yelled at me. So i yelled back and told them they don't need to all yell at me as I'm just asking for help. Then a random guy behind me took it upon himself to jump on this opportunity to berate me and call me names including the C word as though I'm somehow being difficult by asking for service. His girlfriend tried to stop him and he was being threatening. I will never shop at this store again as it's clearly not even safe.

The furniture here is not Haverty's... That is why there is a Haverty's. This is on par with the big box stores like Target, Walmart and the dreaded Kmart. They have a decent company buyer because it is obvious that Big Lots is trying to stay atop the latest in thing E for effort there! In the store I met Sandy. She approached me and asked if I needed any assistance. I thanked her and said that it had been a while since I had visited this store, so I was simply browsing. When I reconnected with her later, I asked her about an item, she was kind enough to walk me to the location where it was shelved. How nice, right? Yes, that goes a long way with me. Thanks Sandy.

Big Lots is either hit or miss…read more This store has undergone a recent renovation and is much easier to sort though now. It tends to be cleaner than a lot of the other big lots locations and that's a huge plus in my book. I like that they're not always busy, so you don't have to fight with other people over things you might want to buy.

My views regarding this shop are as diverse as the merchandise on the shelves, there's a lot to love here but I also feel a lot of the stuff is here to fill the space. This is definitely a place I'd frequent if I lived in the area, it seems the ownership has an eye for things that are unique and these authentic items some that I took photos of are things that appeal to me. I did appreciate the store's layout which allows the customers to move around freely without all the clutter - the name "Junk" is deceiving this is a nice clean shop that is very well organized. If your tired of visiting shops that seem to never turn over their inventory you'll love this place - although you won't find aisle after aisle of glassware and plastic trinkets you will find lots of eclectic treasures...
