This place appears to be a hybrid, a cross between repurposed relics and some newer distressed…read moredecor - a potpourri of themes of sorts. My views regarding this shop are as diverse as the merchandise on the shelves, there's a lot to love here but I also feel a lot of the stuff is here to fill the space. This is definitely a place I'd frequent if I lived in the area, it seems the ownership has an eye for things that are unique and these authentic items some that I took photos of are things that appeal to me. I did appreciate the store's layout which allows the customers to move around freely without all the clutter - the name "Junk" is deceiving this is a nice clean shop that is very well organized. If your tired of visiting shops that seem to never turn over their inventory you'll love this place - although you won't find aisle after aisle of glassware and plastic trinkets you will find lots of eclectic treasures...

There is definitely a lot to see here but it seemed like as I walked though the booths I got the feeling of "been there done that" - I do this a lot so I have a routine and an eye for what what what I collect - I never enter one of these thrift shops uhm I mean "antique store" without a plan I rarely buy anything except for what I collect, if I have a need for something old, something new I shop on eBay or Amazon. I always get hyped before the hunt begins but when the hunt mean going through a lot of garage sale items I get frustrated and bored and unfortunately I found a lot of that stuff here. We are all volunteers ). but on vacation in Tennessee I found this place that all the workers are volunteer and they help women in need. The clothes people have consigned or donated are fantastic. I took 23-25 high quality items in. A couple of them had only been worn once…read more Lisa and her coworker kept talking to me while Lisa took everything off of the hangers. At one point, Lisa told her helper "you might need to go to the bank for me." Then, after the three of us had a lengthy conversation about traffic on Hwy 19, Lisa reached into the cash register and handed me $40. She made it seem like she was doing me a favor by paying me $40 for at least 23 items!! Last Spring, I took about 12 items in and she paid me $45 When I browsed through the shop, I saw one blouse with a $29 price tag on it. I wish I had kept my items and donated them to my church thrift store. I will not go back, and I do not recommend the resale shop to anyone.
