Outside
Courtenay O.

So much to choose from inside (where masks are required) and more outside in the flea market (masks optional)! I got 6 children's books for $3. Inside, I bought some Halloween items for 89¢ each (makeup and treat baskets). The employees are friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable or excellent. Hand sanitizer is provided by the cashier. Warming: cash only! Note: this is the THIRD time I've written this review. Why isn't it staying???

Love this boho chic look! Entire outfit with hat was less than $20! (catch their sales!)

This resale store is amazing. 50% off sales all the time. If anyone is speaking negatively about this store and the prices, they clearly are not reading the signs as you walk in that say, "50% OFF EVERYTHING!". And let's not forget, the proceeds from this store go towards the Hope Center next door that helps thousands of families, the elderly, the homebound, Veterans, those without a home to get hot and cold meals virtually every day of the week. They offer a whole lot more too. This is also not a "Thrift Store", the signs clearly say it's a "Resale store", and people donate because they want money to be made to help their neighbors and those in need in our area. Not to mention how hard everyone there works and many are volunteers that do it out of the kindness of their own hearts. I shop at many resale and thrift stores in Pinellas County and hands down the Tarpon Springs Shepherd Center has some of the best items and clothing around. You don't see stains on their clothes, rips, like other stores. Their prices are amazing! So many name brand things. God bless these people for all they do. I'll continue to be a repeat customer here!

Holy cow! The prices are insane. Staff lacks a bit too. $6.99 for a 4" resin Santa with a broken hat. $19.99 for costume bracelets. SMH

It is a thrift shop. Lots of furniture and a surprising amount of wheel chairs and walkers. So big fun for the whole family!

We were looking to donate some meals, we checked and found the Dunedin food pantry. I was so happy…read moreto see the group of volunteers in the great work they are doing there to help the local community. I look forward to participating with this group and keep it local. There are services for seniors and a great facilities for families that need some assistance with groceries. The schedule looks convenient for those who are in need, and they make it easy for anyone that is able to donate.

Guests can choose their food creating an atmosphere of respect, building trust between clients, staff, and volunteers. Our Mission Dunedin Cares Food Pantry will strive to alleviate hunger by providing food to the local community, showing kindness, respect, and compassion as neighbors help neighbors. How? We receive food and money from our community corporations, schools, churches, local businesses, HOA's, other Non Profits, lots of individuals, and over 16,900 volunteer hours. Why in Dunedin? Statistics indicated that even in our delightful city of Dunedin, Florida, there were pockets of people who are "food insecure", where children go to bed hungry and the elderly choose to purchase their medication over food.

This place is a life-saver for my partner and I. Having retired from the food biz last year and…read morebeing on a set retirement income, there's been a few months where we were both contemplating fasting for a week or getting a par-time job. Luckily a friend told us of Hope Villages. This organization not only is a food bank but reaches out to people who are in need of a safe haven from domestic violence, emergency housing for homeless families, basic needs and affordable housing. For us, it was food to stretch out until our next retirement check. One has to live in Pinellas County to obtain the food. Pretty simple form to fill out along with a photo I.D. We take a bus which lets us off close by. Most pull up in their cars but I find being on foot I can walk right up and get a box of food. We've been lucky with getting rides or catching the bus back. They stock ones box with at least two or three frozen meals ( thanks Publix!), maybe four different types of bread loaves, canned beans, veggies, soups...( they ask if you have a stove). Sometimes you get bacon, always get cereal, some energy bars, some kind of pastry, dried beans, sometimes fresh fruit and or juice. Usually one gets a gallon of milk, butter and sometimes eggs. Really, you get a wonderful selection of food staples which can stretch ones budget. The volunteers are so patient and warm. I have witnessed a woman who lost her loved one, breakdown sobbing as a volunteer loaded her car up with food.mHe put his hand on her shoulder and then they clasped hands for a brief prayer. I thank the people there and the organization with all my heart. Blessings to all!
