I shopped at this Target a few days ago. I bought some storage baskets, Neutrogena CC makeup cream, and a couple of other things. They sell good quality items. Cashier was nice and efficient. While I was standing in line waiting another cashier who was not busy motioned to me to come to her register which was nice. I like how helpful she was but I opted to stay in the same line. Worst Target I've ever been to! Bare shelves, messy displays, and not a soul around to help. The whole store was in complete disarray. The selection of sleep ware, telephones, and small appliances was simply nonexistent. I've been a Target shopper for 30 years and compared to their other Tampa Bay Area locations, this one ranks last. We recently moved to the Trinity area but it looks like I'll be making the trip to Boot Ranch. Wet disappointing. read more

We go to check out and it's another ordinary experience, Until we met Zachary!! And outstanding multitasker. With a positive vibe that people are drawn too. Talking to my children asking them questions and telling them about Santa. Topping it off with stickers for the kiddos. But really what I'm getting it is that my daughter even noticed when we left the store and said "daddy he was very nice". So I just had to let it be known he connecting with the guest. read more

Tried to call guest services and toys, instantly got hung up on. Then I tried to call electronics, either no one answers the phone or when they do they throw you around for 10 minutes without attempting to even help. Specifically asked for a Team Lead to discuss the concerns with, got forwarded to a team MEMBER instead. Can't even follow a simple task when asked. Why is it that you guys never know how to answer the phone? Other locations can do it no problem, this one has issues. Target is known for giving excellent customer service, even with me having the product name and DPCI, I still couldn't get proper help. Why is it so complicated to have someone look for an exact item on the shelf? If I could give 0 stars I would for wasting my fucking time. read more

For the service, it's a 5 star! I caught a picture of an employee kneeling to the level of a guest in a scooter. The employee demonstrated every water bottle option available, showing how each is assembled and how they operate, and answered all of the Guest's many questions. I see this level of service a lot at this location. They are out of stock of some things frequently and the clearance items can also be a little unclear/not ring up at the right price, so it's 4 stars for that. I frequent this location at least once per week. The associates are friendly and willing to help you locate items. It's easy to make returns, order online and pickup in store, and use the self checkout. The also have a Starbucks inside, if you need a pick me up. Prices here are usually lower than compared to Publix's regular prices, and similar to Walmart. I only wish it was a Super Target so I could get all of my shopping done here. read more

This target is a joke. If you have to come here for one specific thing, chances are, it's out of stock. I was there yesterday for three things. Cat food, conditioner and ground turkey. Lo and behold, they have none of those things. I was looking for a certain flavor of fancy feast cat food And it was out of stock. The only one on the shelf that was empty. Oh, in the picture included the storage bin area is completely empty. And has been for weeks and it was out of stock. There is such a high demand for this specific flavor, how about ordering more?? So, I go to get my conditioner. It's called raw sugar. It's actually exclusively sold by target. Guess what? They are sold out of that also and have been for the past six freaking weeks! Targets is the only store that sells this conditioner yet they can't stock it?? And haven't stocked it in almost 2 months?? Head over to the grocery section to look for ground turkey breast. They don't have that either. Imagine that. I hate this place. Now I'm gonna have to drive to Clearwater SuperTarget to see if they have the conditioner I'm looking for. Not to mention, no target has had disinfecting wipes since March. Publix has them. Walmart occasionally has them. Not Target though. Their entire cleaning section is wiped clean every single day. We went shopping at Target in Trinity Sat May2nd and were very disappointed. No one was wiping and cleaning the carts, there was nothing available to clean the cart yourself. Tall, large young man standing by the carts counting people who were coming in, I asked him if he was cleaning the carts he said no it's not his job. Asked who's job was it he said it was not his problem. In the mean time more carts were coming in from outside and no one was cleaning them. I asked for some cleaner and I will wipe down a cart myself. He turned around and walked away. Needless to say we walked out and went to Publix. We won't be back. read more

I was passing through the area and stopped by to get a couple of items. I had brought my own bag and asked the cashier to use it instead of using a plastic bag. I paid for the items and left. When I got home, I realized that nothing I paid for was in my bag. I called and spoke with someone on the phone and told them I live an hour away and wouldn't be able to return to that location for a while. I asked if they'd reimburse me card since I never got anything that I paid for but they wouldn't do it. I asked to speak to a manager and was told they were busy but they'd return my call. No one called me back. So now I have to find time to drive an hour away to go back and try to get my money back and that's if they even do that. It's rather upsetting to know that I'm losing money because an employee didn't do their job. read more

This Target is beautiful. The Home Section merchandising and decor display in particular is spectacular! Everything is neatly organized and visually stunning, especially considering the value of the products; very high quality, lower than expected price. That's one of the things that is so awesome about Target in general. You get high-end, luxury store experience with great amenities (hello, Starbucks while I shop, yes please!) at prices that are competitive to other big-box stores like Walmart or Costco. We love the Hearth & Hand with Magnolia section. Who doesn't love Chip & Joanna Gaines?! We always keep an eye out for new arrivals, as the line is beautiful, changes with the season, and the displays are constantly updated with the newest products. Huge shout out to Denise, a store associate at this location. She has a hugely exciting personality combined with genuine hospitality and attention to detail. We came in on a Saturday morning to check out the newest arrivals and get our "normal" misc. weekend shopping done. Denise popped by while we were browsing the home section and asked if we had any questions; she pointed out several new items to us, pointed out some new floral pieces to the Target home line, plus showed us some current clearance items as a back-up if we couldn't find anything. It's WOW hospitality and people-focused individuals like Denise that make a trip out to the store (vs. ordering via Amazon) still a delight in 2018. Say hi to Denise when you're on your next Target run! With all that Target greatness said, I confess: I can't help but spend wayyyyy more $$$ than intended during my visit. It's that darn good. Was in today to grab some items for back to school. I needed a desk and chair and no one was around to help me get the heavy box off the 3-4ft tall shelf! So that was really annoying. Plus the cashier wanted me to pick up the box-yet again just so she could scan even though I know they have the hand held scanners. Again, just annoying. And she didn't even ask if I needed help out (which if I worked here, I would of asked) but they don't want to have to grab someone from the back and deal with that hassle of finding someone to help me out ...I know because I worked retail in high school but c'mon! Every time I'm at this store the customer service is rude, non existent or not helpful at all. Disappointed to say the least. You can do better. read more

During the current pandemic they're allowing every entitled person in trinity to enter with no mask on and don't enforce the mandatory mask policy of the county and their own corporation. Not to mention, as others have, they indeed have no one cleaning and disinfecting carts nor are there any supplies to do so yourself. As an investigator there is nothing I hate more than a dishonest merchant. Over the years I have continually seen this behavior at Target...from a used keyboard that smelled like smoke that they repackaged and sold as new...to items on sale that associates admit they never had in stock. Today was another...I went to Target to get my son an Xbox headset that they had on their website. They had a headset on the hook as described. The tag sku matched the product and described a cordless headset. And, the electronics associate assured me they were cordless. I paid for the item and skeptically opened it, finding a corded headset. The electronics associate said "...sorry you'll have to take it to customer service.". The manager I asked for eventually came back to electronics. After punching numbers into a hand controller, he said an associate must ha be labeled it wrong. He tried to sell me one for three times as much. After trekking to customer service for a refund, the smart a$$ comments from the manager, Ty, were about as much as I could take. I left telling him I would never shop there again, which he took with an unempathtic "whatever." I called corporate and was offered a reference number for my complaint. Considering the recent data breach, you would think Target would avoid negative reviews...apparently, they just don't care. read more

I come here a lot and My visits aren't usually review worthy but this last time was strange. I was looking through the woman's clearance section about 30 min before closing and the woman in the fitting room was visibly frustrated with putting clothes away. I felt like I was in the way or making her night more difficult by looking around so I left. I remember working in retail and we weren't allowed to do any closing tasks before the end of our shift to avoid making customers feel rushed but that was at a more high end store. read more

I have been to Target's across the country as I travel for my job. I live in the area, and have to say this is by far the worst. I have actually met some Target marketer's in Minneapolis and wish that I had got their contact information. This one just sucks. The whole theory of customers as "guests" goes out the window here. I went in today to complete 2 items on my daughters daycare / school list: playground chalk and construction paper. We could not find the playground chalk, so I asked a Target employee in the stationary / office supplies area. She explained that it would be in the toys area. We searched back there before finding another associate that explained it would be in the stationary area. When I told him that another associate told us it would be back here, he said "oh well". Furthermore, I expected a "did you find everything you needed?" from the clerk at check out and did not get one. Even worse, I picked up a little Hello Kitty lunch box for my 3 year old daughter who was sitting in the cart. The clerk was ignorant to the fact that my daughter was sitting there asking to hold the lunch box multiple times. She proceeded to just bag it. Perhaps it was my disdain at this point, but it certainly seemed as if she was doing this intentionally as she made eye contact first with my daughter and then with me (with a smirk look) as she put it in the bag. EVERY other Target I have ever been to, when asked, an associate will escort you to a product. If they cannot find it, they will call on their radio for assistance. This is why their marketing group spent so much time creating the concept of a customer as a "guest". This store has completely missed the mark. Or perhaps since the IT debacle, they have let this slide. Nevertheless, this store felt more like a Walmart which just gives me the willies.... Bad news Target..... Close it down or accept your fate! read more

It's true I hate Target, and Target-like stores. Once in a while you are forced out to buy a necessity and decide to do it close to home. I find that if you simply have a plan, and keep contact swift, then most transactions can be relatively painless. I was able to walk up to customer service, tell them what I needed done, and how much time I had, and it worked. If you pick up those red little phones along the aisles you usually end up speaking to someone without a clue who runs around for 15 minutes just to get you the wrong answer. This is why it's best not to ask anything ever. Just run in, get whatever crap set of knives you can only find here, and disappear into the masses until you have to rinse, and repeat. I also went there to get a gift card, I asked the storage worker if they have the 25 dollar orgin gift card. I actually do shop there since they closed the Port Richey store. I have to say that it isn't like it used to be (what is?!) and I attribute that to the fact that Target is no longer a "Dayton Hudson" offspring but sold to a foreign corp. The employees are friendly but clearly this store needs a good manager who makes sure that the sale signs are posted BEFORE the doors are open on a Sunday and that the aisles are cleared. This store is pretty clean and I continue to shop there even though I never stop thinking "I hate this store now. Its almost turned into a Walmart", in hopes that one day it will surprise me and return to its former glory! To the guy that said that it smells...must be your upper lip! read more
