I came here to pick up items for a coat drive and needed gloves and socks. They had both in stock, which was great. Even though it's called Dollar Tree, nothing is actually a dollar anymore. The socks were $1.50 and the gloves were $1.50, so it seems like most items are that price now unless you shop the special aisle where things cost a bit more. Still, everything felt like a good value for what I needed. I did need a little help finding the gloves, and the cashier was friendly and pointed me in the right direction. The store wasn't too dirty, especially considering how busy it was. Overall, it was a good experience and I would definitely go back.

(Though, I haven't tried on anything lately to note the condition of the fitting rooms. Bathroom is still pretty sketchy.) For the most part, the store has been more organized and tidier as well. We have been finding WAY TOO MANY GOOD DEALS. This is to the detriment of our bank account. Some recent deals: $60 Nikes (which retail for $180), carry-on luggage for $35, $40 A&M Adidas backpack ($88 retail tag), etc etc. I do occasionally feel that some of their prices are high on certain items. Like, $20 for under armor sweatpants is still high to me personally. Some other Nike shoes can be as high as $82. Nope. The service here is still lacking. At my most recent visit, I went to self check-out with 10 items and the large sign on the ceiling says the limit is 10. As I began ringing out my items, the unfriendly, gruff woman working the self checkout yells "THE LIMIT IS 10." To which we replied that we had 10. When she was checking our receipt, my daughter and I try some light conversation with her, to which her harshness continued. We both left the store talking about how we couldn't believe how rude and angry she was. I have to note that on other occasions, the staff weren't *AS* unfriendly as this lady was. These releases aren't something they can magically make right with either so whatever he says about this review is pointless. City Gear is a discount shoe store, which is actually pretty expensive considering that it was supposed to be discount store compared to some of the other shoe stores. They have trendy and urban styles and cater mainly to kids, but it's pretty cool. You seem fairly popular but not too busy. The prices are a little bit prohibitive for us personally, and I'm pretty particular about liking my Asics, but if there was a big sale we would definitely come here again. I love coming to this mall for Kung Fu tea and we often browse through a bunch of the stores here, which are some of Barbies favourites, such as Rue 21, VS, and Claire's - among others - so I'm sure we'll find ourselves buy here on a regular basis.

I was looking for a specific meat rub and saw Jacob preparing to stock shelves. Jacob attempted to help then asked Ellie to join in the search. Turns out my sources were wrong and HEB does not carry the rub, but I appreciated the kind service. We grabbed some goodies and headed to the check out. I was ecstatic to find fresh watermelon juice but sadly it was grainy and 100% bland. Love HEB and can't wait to visit again.
